"Of course." she groaned. Beetlepaw padded over to a side of the nursery and picked up some old moss. "Wonder how that got there..." she murmured as she flung the small piece of moss at Vinekit.

Vinekit yelped and scrambled to get the old moss flung at her. "Watch it!" She meowed, not angry, but rather irritated.

"Ugh, you're so boring.." Beetlepaw groaned as she teared up some more moss. "Be grateful you don't have to clear out two more dens." She flicked her tail.

Vinekit rolled the old moss with her paws. "I could help you." She meowed.

"I think you would have to ask, I dont want it to seem like Im not doing any hard work." she sighed as she fished out the last piece of moss from the den. "Is there still some of that new moss we gathered? We could use it to make some nests."

Beetlepaw smiled. As much as she irritates her, Vinekit was kind. She let out another sigh, what had she gotten herself into? I was always an attention seeker, but i should have never have picked on Alpinepaw and her. "Thanks."

Briarberry watched the apprentice... kit? No, it was easier to think of them as apprentices. She didn't have the energy to think of specifics. She watched the apprentice duo tidy up the den with a purr rumbling in her throat. How could such sweet, helpful youngsters get punished? It made no sense to her.

Once the meeting was over, Wolfhive entered the den to check in on things. He had noticed Vinekit and Beetlepaw running about without waiting for Risingstorm to supervise them; something he explicitly instructed for a reason - when Briar//berry waving him over caught his attention.

"Wolf//hive!" Briarberry purred in greeting. She hadn't expected to see him - how long had it been since she had seen him? Walking had grown very difficult and she hardly got out of her nest now. "You haven't been in here in ages... what's the occasion?"
