A brown and orange molly sat a bit to the side, licking some muck off her paws. Vixenstare had just gotten an apprentice, and this was a big duty, teaching a cat how to survive in a world like this? 'I'll do my best. And if anything happens to Bristlepaw, I'm attacking whoever or whatever hurt them. Vixenstare thought, her eyes flickering over to another feline.

Softsong sat in her nest towards the center of the den, cleaning her face as best as she could. The wound was starting to itch as it healed. She knew it was a good thing, but the urge to lift her hind leg and scratch was hard to ignore...
She glanced up from her grooming at Fallownose's voice. Stars, it felt like Bravebird all over again. The next thing I know he'll be asking me to spar too, she thought wryly. Two brand new scars, just for me.
"Sure," she mewed, sitting up properly in her nest. "What did you need?"
A flicker of relief flashed through Fallownose's yellow-amber gaze when Softsong agreed to his request. He had expected her to be bitter or reluctant, but it didn't seem like she was.
"I know it's been a while, but I still wanted to apologize for my harsh words at the meeting where Twilightstar talked about an alliance with ShadowClan. I was angry at the others and was blinded by the one comment you made about ThunderClan without taking into account the other points you had made. It was unacceptable behavior from me, and I wanted you to know that I am genuinely remorseful."
Fallownose dipped his head once he had finished speaking, relief coursing through him as if a weight had left him. He would not expect forgiveness from her, and would not mind if she chose not to for it was not his decision to make. He had wronged Softsong and Fallownose knew not to demand forgiveness, for then what was the point of an apology? He had done what was right and acknowledged his own mistakes which was what mattered to him (though he would definitely feel better if Softsong forgave him).
[sincere apologies for how long this took and I completely understand if you don't want to continue this roleplay ]
One bright orange eye grew visible in the dim den as the she slowly woke herself from her groggy state of mind. She was tired, but she wasn't exactly certain why. These days all it seemed she did was sleep, Dreamlight wasn't quite certain how to get herself out of this depressive rut she was in. She didn't have Twilightstar tenacity or Leechscar's devotion, she didn't have anything...
Huffing softly, after some rolling around, she forced herself to her paws. Twilightstar had given her an apprentice, and the paw had literally gotten sick and darted off without even bothering to meet with her. So Dreamlight just assumed Beastpaw absolutely hated her. She couldn't bring herself to care why, but she knew she had to go and locate the apprentice. The idea of being a neglectful mentor put her stomach in knots, she had lost her last two apprentices, she should at least try and do something for the new one. Even if this was only temporary.
