Ah, so that's where the dock was. Lichenpaw followed to where Sleethound had gestured, finally spotting a bush with leaves that matched the shape and texture of the one in her mouth. Picking what she assumed was a decent amount off with her teeth, trying to be careful about not tearing them, though she wasn't exactly super successful in that, nor did she know if torn leaves were any less effective than in tact leaves, but she wasn't a medicine cat and Lightningpaw hadn't specified if they should or shouldn't be torn.
She left a good portion of the leaves there, carrying about five in her mouth, she turned to look for Ramhawk and Sleethound, the former had already collected some sticks and was waiting for the calico and her mentor to follow and return with him. Lichenpaw couldn't exactly talk around the bundle of leaves in her mouth, but she made a valiant effort nonetheless. "Mmpatient mush?" She questioned, voice muffled and oddly slurred around the leaves, she bounded up to where Ramhawk stood waiting and playfully batted his shoulder with a paw, tail flicking behind her in amusement.
Ramhawk was strange, she thought. He didn't speak much and, even on a group patrol, he mostly kept to himself and did his own thing, deferring to orders, yes, but on his own terms and with his own silent obedience. Lichenpaw decided it was now her personal mission to get the warrior to crack a smile.
Ramhawk hid a smile from the young apprentice. Her muffled words were difficult to identify but Ramhawk got the gist. He pretended he didn't notice the playful bat to his shoulder, instead waiting until Lichenpaw was off her guard and bumping her to the side with his hip. Immediately he looked in the other direction, as if he wasn't paying attention. His gaze "wanders" over to her, he cocks an eyebrow.
"Don't loose yer balanche dare" he spoke through his own jawful of sticks, holding back a snort.
Owlpaw - The Mute One
WindClan | Apprentice | He/Them | 5 moons | 30/100
Owlpaw couldn't help but grin at his mentor's praise. He still felt it took him way too long to learn how to do a simple pounce, but at least the hard part was out of the way... now it was time for the harder part. The ebony apprentice followed Dreamlight as she darted through tall grass and the pair made their way to a less open area of the territory.
Owlpaw had never actually seen a tree up close, so when he came upon one he stared up into its green leafy canopy, losing himself for a moment. 'Could those be used as herbs?' he thought. They were leafy and green so they must be herbs. He shook his head, golden eyes turning back to his mentor. He couldn't get distracted now; he had to focus on his lesson!
He nodded at Dreamlight, but then shook his head as he remembered what she had asked, and then nodded again as she explained her plan to him. He got a little dizzy from all that nodding, so he crouched down beside his mentor. To answer her question, no, he wasn't tired. He was a little anxious though, but now that he knew his mentor was to do all the chasing the actual rabbit-catching part shouldn't be too hard for him. He grinned again, confidence rising as he waited for further instruction.

Dreamlight chuckled as Owlpaw nodded multiple times. No one had told her if Owlpaw just didn't like talking or was a full-on mute, but it didn't really bother her. Oooooh! Maybe they could come up with their own little sign language... or she could take actual lessons and figure out how to talk to him that way, but one sounded more boring than the other. Anyway, back to the hunt.
"Alright, so stay quiet and hidden and get ready to pounce, okay," Dreamlight told him with an encouraging smile before she slid away, diving into a new patch of grass as she sneakily circled around the rabbit. She froze here and there when the baby rabbit's ears would twitch or its head would turn in her direction, but she never had to wait long as the rabbit's attention span never remained on her position for long.
Stealthily moving through the grass, Dreamlight leaped out in front of the rabbit, pivoting to the right to block its initial path and drove it towards where Owlpaw lay in wait. She silently prayed that he was ready and that all his practice would be put too good use.
*-Lichenpaw-* 25/100

Lichenpaw giggled at that, delighted that Ramhawk was indulging her playful attitude. "You shink you can knock me over?" She teased playfully through her mouthful of leaves, dropping in an exaggerated hunter's crouch much like a playful kitten with their littermates. So he could be fun, huh? Well, maybe he should've made that more obvious from the start so she wouldn't have to ponce after his tail!! Would Sleethound approve oh her decision to roughhouse a little? Lichenpaw didn't care, it's not like anyone was really going to get hurt. Besides, this patrol was pretty much done anyway!

Ramhawk calmly closed his eyes and tried to speak through the sticks yet again. "I recken I aowlready did" he mewed.
He noticed the apprentice crouch and pounced after his tail. He quickly broke into a brief run, missing her paws by just a whisper. He turned his head back to her with a cocky expression on his face, complete with the smallest fragment of a smirk.
Owlpaw - The Mute One
WindClan | Apprentice | He/Them | 5 moons | 32/100
Owlpaw could be quiet! That was the only thing he seemed to be good at doing anyways. He sent one last nod her way before crouching lower, hiding himself in the tall grass. Owlpaw lay in wait, watching as his mentor stalked away and began to lurk behind the rabbit.
His curly smile still lingered as he observed the way she paused with each step, careful not to alert their prey. The rabbit they were chasing was different from before. Of course, Littlepaw had most likely caught the other one by the time Owlpaw had finished perfecting his pounce. This new rabbit, however, seemed pretty young. Young enough to be a baby...
Suddenly, Dreamlight pounced and steered the baby rabbit in his direction. His smile fell away, and Owlpaw found himself scrambling to prepare himself. He wasn't ready yet! The ebony apprentice fumbled with his paws, the innocent baby rabbit nearing closer to its doom... or what would have been doom if Owlpaw were an efficient hunter. Instead, he was an inexperienced apprentice having second thoughts about hunting such a young, and cute, creature.
Owlpaw swallowed hard and forced himself to lunge at the baby rabbit. He had a job to do-- a clan to feed, and obviously, the poor thing wasn't going to run straight into his paws. But as he lept from the grass the rabbit suddenly swerved, and Owlpaw landed with a thud in the trail of dust it left behind. He jolted back up, but the rabbit was far enough away from him that a second pounce wouldn't catch it.
He'd have to chase it-- and that he did. He dashed after the rabbit on stubby legs... before stumbling head-over-heels on a branch he failed to notice. 'Stupid trees!' Now he knew why WindClan stuck to the moors. How could any cat hunt with all these sticks lying around?! Golden eyes trailed after the rabbit as it disappeared behind some foliage and out of sight.
Was that it? Had he... failed? Owlpaw looked back and forth between his mentor and the direction the rabbit had fled in with a teary look of shame. The tears in his eyes swelled until they were fat enough to roll down his cheeks. All of his practice, his hard work, was for nothing! The rabbit was right there and all he had to do was pounce at it! He hid his face in his paws. If it were possible wailing and blubbering might have been heard, but all that came out instead were quiet shudders broken by a few strained hiccups.
(Lol, he will not be catching any rabbits just yet. I feel it's too advanced for his first-time hunting~) @Moonraven

@roo!
Deadmoon was in full pursuit of a rabbit, haring across the meadow as fast as her legs could take her. Which, unfortunately, wasn't as fast as they needed to be. As one of the few almost uninjured cats after the battle, she felt like it was her responsibility to step up her hunting game, until everyone was fit again. But so far, she hadn't had any luck. The rabbits were just a little too fast, and she hadn't gotten lucky and scared up an older one yet. This one was the slowest she'd found, and so she very much wasn't looking around her as she pursued it, focussed only on its fluffy tail as she crested a small hill, lunging downwards as soon as she crested it. If a cat happened to be at the bottom of that hill....well, they might just get run over.

Featherpelt - he/him - 18 moons
---
Featherpelt walked about somewhat giddy. He had a bit more pep in his step so to speak. His long ears gently flicked in the wind as his tail followed suit. He stepped lightly in the territory. With his wounds still somewhat fresh, it felt sore walking for so long. Yet, with his expression it seems that wasn't very present on his mind. His calm and collected walk was, yet again, disturbed by the same molly he had run into for some battle practice some time ago. Only, she wasn't picking a fight with a bush this time, but headed straight for him.
The two collided and Featherpelt let out a painful yelp. His battle wounds throbbed upon impact. He grumbled in pain before giving Deadmoon a glare.
"Well hello again." he muttered sarcastically "lovely bumping into you.."
Ha! The rabbit was in sight, she was just about to get it......and then she crashed into someone who was decidedly not a rabbit, tumbling to the ground a bit dramatically. Shaking out her pelt, now adorned with some dandelion fluff and grass bits, Deadmon got to her feet in time to meet Featherpelt's glare. She was tempted to glare right back, after all, she had been busy hunting and all that, who as he to get in her way? So she glared back. Because she could. They were close enough, following the tumble, that she could hear his muttered words, and her fur bristled just a little. Sure she hadn't been paying attention, but she didn't like to be at fault. Or admit being at fault.
My pleasure. she huffed, though she allowed the glare she had been holding to slacken. It was hard to keep control of her eyes for so long, if she glared too long then she got a headache, and she'd rather avoid that. This seemed to work wonders for her mind set as well, and in spite of herself she found the whole situation rather amusing. Well, it would have been if it happened to anyone else. Watching two other cats undergo such hilarious physical comedy would probably be the peak of her day! Just imagining it made her chuckle, mouth quirking upwards in a small smirk at the thought.
Why're you out here getting run over anyway? she asked, once the slight whisker twitching was under control. I thought you got beat up pretty bad in the battle. She might have been wrong, there had been a lot going on after all, but there was some memory of a crowd of bloody cats being fussed over by Cowtuft and Lightningpaw that included him. Plus, he smelled a bit....herby, if that was the word. Tangy, like what you'd expect if you ate grass. Eh, whatever. Featherpelt's exact smell wasn't particularly important at the moment. Her point stood regardless. @roo!

Featherpelt - he/him - 18 moons
---
Featherpelt for a split second looked as if he had been caught. He quickly changed his face and lifted his head in a sort of regal way. His ears tilted back and his tail twitched.
"I was merely out for a walk, if you must know." he spoke "A cat can only be cramped in that medicine den for so long."
He straightened his fur and licked at his shoulder which continued to throb. Not really giving Deadmoon much attention. He wasn't quite sure how to feel about her. They had a similar run in before. He respected her beyond a shadow of a doubt, but he wasn't sure where she stood with him. She reminded him of an apprentice a little bit. Though, he only had a few instances with her so it was unfair that he thought this.
RABBITDASH . speech . Status: open
Rabbitdash crouched down at the edge of the bush as she inhaled slowly, taking in the scent of the passing breeze. she dropped low into the prickly grass, the stalks tickling her chin as her emerald green eyes scanned the moorland. her eyes widened as she spotted the brown shape faraway pop up from burrow, obviously a rabbit popping out. Her whole body tensed as she bunched her hindlegs and sprung out, racing across the moorland, kicking up dirt and grass as she sprinted towards the animal.
as she neared the animal, the startled rabbit began to scramble away. Rabbitdash gritted her teeth as she sped up, accelerating towards the rabbit. The chase was not long until Rabbitdash began to slow down, sides heaving. She slowed to a stop, panting as she watched the victorious rabbit strut away. She scowled, lashing her tail as she spat to the ground. "Mousedung! I almost had it." she flicked her ears in annoyance before studying the sun as it rose slowly. she had woken up early, hoping to surprise her clanmates with some fresh food. Well that was gone.
she stared at the floor, defeated.
