Her mentor was gone to raid RiverClan, and she couldn’t go!
Yeah, she had, like, zero training, but so what?
As long as Crowbreeze came back alive, though, she was sure she would get some training soon.

Noticing her denmate at the den entrance, she approached. "I wonder what that battle's like...I didn't get to go either, but it seems really cool." She still wasn't quite sure what a battle would feel like, but helping WindClan seemed important. I dunno about driving out RiverClan though...

Leopardpaw looked over at Honeypaw “I’m sure it’s super cool!” She said enthusiastically, though still frustrated she didn’t get to go “I bet they’re winning amazingly!”
Honestly, she know almost nothing about RiverClan except the fact she had been told that they did a lot of bad things to WindClan.
Plus, the idea of death hadn’t really registered in Leopadpaw’s mind yet, since she was still freshly apprenticed.

Honeypaw wasn't quite sure why she couldn't go, but figuring she shouldn't get herself in trouble, she had obeyed. My mentor'd probably be disappointed. She continued on the conversation. "Do you think RiverClan'll ever show their faces in the forest again? I know they're being exiled for a little while but I dunno how it'll work after that." Honeypaw knew they'd done bad stuff, she remembered when Fallownose had died and they had his vigil, but it felt...odd. Yeah but the leaders probably know what they're doing, right? RiverClan's bad..surely.

Leopardpaw thought for a moment “They probably will eventually, maybe.” She said “It’d be weird without four clans.”
It was gonna be weird with three even for the small amount of time that RiverClan would be gone, probably.
She honestly hadn’t thought about it all that much.

As Honeypaw listened, she nodded in agreement. "You're probably right. It'll be super weird without them." She remembered her first gathering, RiverClan had been there then, it was the day Fallownose's killer had been discovered. I don't think I'll ever forget that. She hadn't talked to any of the RiverClan cats so she didn't really know what they were like except for what she had heard her clanmates say. "I bet they won't try messing with us again though!"

Leopardpw nodded to Honeypaw, a confident gleam in her eyes "Of course they won't!" She said with all possible confidence, despite being one of the youngest apprentices "If they do, Twilightstar will just make sure they're chased out again!"
How true that was, she had no idea, buuuut, she felt like it was pretty true.
