Power Card: Cold Gust

Why had the end of the minks not really eased any of the toms stressed? Sure he was expecting there would be some lingering pressure and tension given the end of the mink really only meant the start of the troubles with riverclan but it wasnt even just that.


Training Rabbitpaw while making sure he didnt put too many pressure on himself, recovering from the mess the minks left, fury duties, general upkeep, war preparation and now Fernpaws death. It was all so much. Still despite his exhaustion Crowtooth was chipper and riding high on the victory at least so his steps were a bit of a trot today.


Settling in to the meeting hetrochromatic eyes scanned the area, keen to sit with someone and deciding that should she show Lightningstorm was that cat today. She was probably up to her neck in duties with all the injured cats and the eminent coming of her kits and could use a light chat!


Should the medicine cat arrive the tom would trot up and plop down beside her, for now however he sat and waited.

Honeykit knew some bad things happened at the last meeting. She missed most of it, but she knew at the end Fallownose had died, and that was pretty bad. Hopefully today would be different, and she had a feeling today might be important. She sat down, and looked up to Twilightstar, curious what would be happening today and if it would be something good this time.

Lightningpaw was still laying outside the Apprentices den grooming himself when he heard the call he would stop what he was doing and instead get up to head to the Windclan meeting. Lightningpaw was a small lithe orange tabby with yellow eyes and a Lightningbolt scar on his flank that gave him his name. Lightningpaw scanned the area for his friend Rabbitpaw or maybe even the blind Apprentice Barleypaw either one he would sit next to.

Not wanting to miss the meeting the young small she-cat moved out of the apprentices den. Keeping her ears open she moved around cats to find a good place to sit. There she scented Lightningpaw and sat near him. Hopefully he didn't mind.

Hawkfur, despite the fumble at the mink fight, was feeling pretty good. Things seemed to be looking up, for the first time in a really long time. The war with RiverClan loomed, but Hawkfur wasn't going to hide from it. He wasn't going to hide from anything anymore. He had Crowtooth and Bravebird at his side now. He was a Fury, and he had a duty to the clan now more than ever. If only he knew what was to come.

Hawkfur padded over to the Galewood at Twilightstar's call, scanning the clan and making note of everyone who had been there--and actually fought--at the battle. They had done well.

Lightningpaw would scent the sweet scent of the young she-cat as she approached his yellow eyes would rest upon Barleypaw as he swished his tail excitedly wondering what this meeting might have in store. He felt guilty about being so happy despite how rough things were for most of the Clan but in times like these he couldn't contain his curiosity. "Hello Barleypaw! What do you think this meeting will be about?" Lightningpaw asked the young she-cat.
