Frostfeather hummed happily as she swam up to her apprentice.

“Well no not intentionally. Sometimes I lose track of time underwater because I’m admiring everything below. It’s calming down there, isn’t it? Sometimes I wonder what it would like to be a fish.”

The warrior let herself flip to her back and floated gently, letting most of her body fall underwater but kept her head out.

Staring at the sky she spotted a gull flying over ahead. Oh how she had always wanted to fly, she bet it was the most freeing feeling. Glancing over at the younger molly she flicked her ear.

“If you could be born as any other animal what would you like to be?” She asked

Amberpaw was taken aback at first. “Well, I like being a cat! But, if I had to choose, a bird, maybe a dove. They get to live everywhere and we rarely catch them. Plus, I’d love to see the territory from all the way up there.” She dove back into the water, and surfaced when she was cooled down. “But, they can’t swim like us, and they’re usually flying all the way up there, so I bet it’s gotta be really hot up there.”

Frostfeather nodded as she agreed with Amberpaw’s response. She was slightly surprised when her apprentice brought up the heat. That was a good point, she would have never considered that. She glanced quickly at the sun, her eyes squinted. Great starclan, it was hot.

“Personally I would like to be a tiger” she declared, “all the good of a cat but more fearsome and strong.”

She closed her eyes and let herself sink under water, it was so hot and the cool liquid was the only thing helping her keep sane.

“So I know that we haven’t done much exploring around the territory so perhaps we should go for a border showing after this?”

Frostfeather’s turned and swam back towards the shore, her paws taking large swipes through the water. Once she got to the bank she gave herself a soft shake, not intending to get all the water off her, it would be nice to slowly dry as the day was humid and hot.

“Alright then let’s go do a small walk- border patrol- so you see the territories!”

The massive white she-cat, in all her size, was now sitting by the cattail pond, in a perfect loaf shape. She was starting down at the water. She was waiting to do some relaxed fishing, though currently considering If she should just plunge into the water and enjoy it. She was a rather adept swimmer, despite her huge size. Her long fluffy fur was hard to dry but it didn't bother her.

as one of the fish came close enough silverpaw tried to catched it but sliped and fell into the pond why though silverpaw as she pulled herself out of the pond
