She began laughing a bit, clan leader? OHHHHH this kit was hilarious. "Clan leader, you, a small kit?" She emphasized the word small to make fun of the fact that he was a kit, therefore, he was small...I know so smart. "Smartystar, the leader of Riverclan!" She continued teasing him.

Reedkit beamed. "Yeah! My siblings are off doing aomething, so let's play!" He laughed, jumping about. "What do you wanna do? I wanna do something! Let's do something!"

Did she seriously think he was going to be Clan leader now? Did he have to explain everything to her? "Not now, of course. I won't be a small kit then. I'll be big and strong, and able to lead the Clan." What did she think he was, a weakling that wouldn't make it past kithood? And there she went again. Messing up his name. "Again, Starling. Not Smarty. I'll be Starlingstar then." @WinterRabbit5350

Fawnkit laughed. "Okay!" The mention of Reedkit's siblings did bring back what he was thinking, though. He actually kind of missed them. Not his home, nor his old life, but his siblings and mother. Of course, he wouldn't ever go back. "How about we play... chase!" His siblings would beg him and beg him to play that with him. And it was fun! @Kyrieknight

Reedkit tilted his head, looking slightly confused. "What is it? Is it a game?" A game sounded fun! And not boring! "Is it a game? What is it? How do we play?"

"Psssht, really, you don't seem like a normal kit, so why should I call you by your normal name." Yep, she was calling him Smartykit, Smartypaw, SmartyWHATEVER, from now one, and no one could stop her, not even that mousebrained warrior! "And yeah right, I doubt you'll become a strong leader, most cats here don't even fit it, including myself." She admitted it, but didn't care for a leader position.

"Yeah! It's a game! It's fun!" Fawnkit smiled. Reedkit was so excited. And so was he! He hadn't played this in a long time, though. "I think... we choose someone to be the chaser. The other is the runner." Yeah, that sounded right. "And then the chaser chases the runner until the chaser has touched the runner two times with his paw. And then you switch!" Yeah, that's how it was! He was glad he got it right. @Kyrieknight

Reedkit beamed. That did sound fun! Especially if he got to play with Fawnkit! "Then I'll be runner! You'll eat my dust!" He laughed, already turning and running off, squealing happily all the while.

Starlingkit stared at Whitepaw, realizing for the first time that she was just trying to be rude. She wasn't one of those poor cats that couldn't remember names. She was one of the poor cats that pushed others down. "You're not being very nice. You don't have to fit in to become the Clan leader, or be physically strong," he mewed calmly. He didn't really know what this cat's problem was, or why she doubted him. He was positive that he was perfectly fitted for the position. Probably the best suited in the Clan for it, actually. @WinterRabbit5350

"No, I'll get my two taps in before you can-" And Reedkit was gone. Already flying away. Fawnkit didn't bother to finish his sentence, racing off after his friend. @Kyrieknight

Reedkit laughed, weaving between cats and dens in an effort to keep the chase going. This was fun! How come nobody told him of this game? Fawnkit was catching up, though, so he decided to keep running.

"You're not very nice, waaaa." She said mocking the kit. "Grow up smartykit, maybe that'll get you an apprentice position." She laughed, her words boosting her own ego.
