His little paws - even attached to long legs - dangled an inch about the sandy clearing floor as his frame was edged between reeds and a hard place.

Foxblaze turned and tried to suppress a giggle. “Oh child, suck in your gut.” She said as she surveyed the problem. Was it rocks or reeds he was stuck in?

well now your not lonly! nor am i! ill tell you about my self, i dont really have family and no friends exept you! im small for my age and get teased for it ... he said

He scrunched up his nose at the order, the tip of his tail flicking in annoyance. "Uncle Muddle says i don't gotta gut!" Oddpaw whined out the meow, squirming with each word. The reeds jabbing into his hips and ribby-chest were annoying... "Foxblazzzeee!!" The young feline flailed.

Foxblaze smiled and pulled back some of the reeds holding Oddpaw, hoping he could get out that way.

The lithe apprentice slowly rolled down the bend reeds, landing with a small wheeze squeak at Foxblazes paws. Oddpaw blinked up at her with his big ol' eyes, a bright smile coming to his muzzle as he wiggled paws up at her.
