How could life get any worse!
Whitekit absent-mindedly batted at a moss ball as he thought about how bored he was.
Mother present?
No.
We’re cats asking to play with him?
No!
Were cats basking in his glory?
To his dismay, they aren’t!
He doesn’t like the nursery much anymore.
Maybe he did before, but it just kept growing more and more boring.

Snowkit woke up from her nap, yawning. She stretched, then bounded out of her nest, full of energy. She pounced on a stray leaf, then glanced around. She saw an orange kit all alone. She scampered over. "Hi, I'm Snowkit! What's your name?" she asked, tilting her head. Snowkit noticed the moss ball that the kit was batting at. "Ooh, a moss ball!" she tossed it back playfully when it got close to her and yelped in excitement.

Whitekit looked at her.
Finally, someone!
“I’m Whitekit.” He answered with pride right before Snowkit noticed the mossball and batted it back at him.
Whitekit batted it back.
He could spare a game of mossball, he was already messing with the thing anyway.
Thank StarClan someone had come to talk to him, or else he would’ve died of boredom.
Briarberry felt like she was going to explode at any moment, shuffling uncomfortably in her bed. The only bright side of all this is claiming to have Spiderthroat's kits netted her some positive attention, though even that wasn't as much as she'd prefer for this headache.
Oh, why'd that dumb tom have to go and knock her up? She loved the kits growing within, but she loved not having them to. This pregnancy had been exhausting and, now due any day, she couldn't wait for it to be over.
Briarberry sighed as she set her head against the moss, closing her eyes. Soon she'd meet them, and that was something to look forward to. She wondered if they'd have his eyes..

Snowkit reached up a paw, only to miss the moss-ball. She raced after it, and pounced, tossing it back gleefully. "I got it!" she mewed in excitement. She bounded back, hopefully not stepping on anyone.

Whitekit watched as she missed it and went after it.
As it came back toward him, he batted at it with his white paw.
“What other games do you like?” He asked curiously as they played.
He was fine with mossball for now, but he would probably grow bored at some point.
Nothing could sustain his greatness for long.
