Icebeam sighed. "My escort... didn't show," she meowed drily to Shadowfur, dropping the mouse and vole in front of the enforcer. "I hope this amount of prey'll suffice. I know that I was supposed to find someone, but I did, and they just... disappeared, a-and I swear that they were with me when we were walking into the territory-- and it was gettin' dark, so I decided that I might as well get this over with."

The warrior padded back into the camp, his green gaze seeking out Larkfire before he headed straight for her. Once he was within a tail length of her, he cleared his throat. "Border has been marked, there was no signs of trespassing, and it was overall unremarkable. Sagepaw stuck close and did his job," the warrior spoke, dipping his head towards the other to signify he was done.

Poisonpaw was no longer smelling horrible anymore, and they were gonna do this even if they did it alone. "I'm going to hunt for this stupid punishment. Hope to see you there." They said and walked off.

The Enforcer padded over to Ivysnake and Deadwish, giving the latter a disgusted look as he immediately asked what herbs they were collecting. Did his ears not work? His name was probably Deadwish because everyone wished he was dead. "We'd probably be better off if we ditched the idiot," she grumbled to her platonic mate, shooting another scathing look at the tom. She hated idiots. It was the main reason why she hadn't tried to gain a higher rank within the Clan, it meant she would have to deal with the idiots more than she already did and that was a responsibility she did not want.

The tiny dark cream warrior gracefully slipped back into camp, depositing her catch before approaching Larkfire. She skipped the formalities of dipping her head (the Enforcer was younger than her, after all, and Rosie wasn't about to grovel to a child- yes, a cat a few moons younger than she was was obviously a child), and the icy eyed molly swept her plumy tail to the side in greeting. "Hunting went well, me and Dawny-poo came back with 5 pieces of prey. Nothing of great importance to note. Dawn was an absolute doll, showed up on time and hung around 'till the end, and obviously I did great." And her inner gay came out a bit, and she smiled airily. "My favorite part was coming back and seeing you, though. In case you were curious." There was no real meaning behind her words, but she offered a playful, overly dramatic wink and then padded away, satisfied with her very professional report, a slight skip to her step.

Deadwish snorted as he heard the comment. "I'm not all a idiot once you get to know me." he meowed plainly. "Judge me all you want for my mother being Emberwing and me being an idiot later, right now were on patrol. So act serious, it's your job isn't it?" he snorted again. Turning away to grumble something.

Ears perking up as familiar foot fall approached, Mirehound lifted her head to notice Shadowfur coming towards her. Voice confident, though it sounded more like self-imposed importance to her, was asking if she wanted to a border patrol. Mirehound raised a brow. It was funny since... hadn't patrols just been sent out? And also reported? It seemed like an utter waste of time to go remark the same border again, but she had learned since the prey incident that Shadowfur seemed to do much of that lately.

She said nothing outside of standing and following after him, her face neutral. Any words she had for him were under lock and key - she had plans brewing soon enough anyways and if they worked, she would be the ones giving orders to him. Her blue eyes flickered over to Riverpaw and she dipped her head in greeting to the young apprentice. "That's right. It's nice to meet you, Riverpaw. How's your training going?" She didn't mind the idle chatter while they waited for her brother - anything to not conversate with Shadowfur.

The young warrior padded back into camp, his eyes moving in sweeping glances as he moved towards the shadowledge to find Larkfire before heading to the freshkill pile. He kept his gaze trained steadily on her as he approached. "The hunting was decent, Sharppaw did well. Poppyshine didn't make it out of camp as far as I could tell. And there was a badger scented. It was a ways outside camp but we didn't track it, I didn't want to risk running into it while it was only Sharppaw and me."

Her last few moons had been hectic. One apprentice was sick, and in turn that made the warrior sick with worry. Which, to be honest, had left him slacking a little on his duties. Which is why she partially blamed herself for the other's outburst, which was still a bit of a mystery to her as she had only snippets from others' conversations, and all her attempts to find said cat had been futile. The only good news he had was that his daughter had been named an apprentice.

But overall it had been stressful and tense. So, her solution? Just to ignore all of it, and pretend she was just a normal cat leading a non-drama-filled life, which was difficult to do as his very existence wasn't very normal, but she managed. Like today, as she sat in the clearing, contemplating finding someone to go hunting with her, when a certain grey pelt caught her eye. Looks like Elmshadow is dishing out patrols. The very thought made her stomach turn, and she raised a self-conscience paw to the scar that ran across his face. She, much to her delight was not named on one. But she watched the few chosen cats find their partners and head out, she noticed one missing. He must not have heard He realized looking around. This led the bobtail to one conclusion. She knew how it felt to be in that boat, and she wouldn't want to wish that on anyone, plus this would give her a chance to redeem herself in Elmshadow's eyes.

"I'm replacing Pumpkinglare." She announced, siding up to Wolfpeak, before taking a step back. He would never admit it out loud, but the senior warrior freaked him out a bit. The tom shook out his pelt slightly, before looking back at the other. "Let's head out"
