Ebonyfang looked at Crowkit when she asked the question about the half ones. "If their half dead we can just tear off the dead part and it's all good.", he meowed. The medicine cat grabbed it gently in his paws and tore off the dead part. "There you go just put it in the good pile.", Ebonyfang responded.

The medicine cat turned to the young kit, wanting to smile, but that would make him appear weak. No that isn't what he wanted and hadn't been since he was always like that. Ebonyfang listened to them closely. Surprisingly he was able to get what he was saying. His heart ached for the poor thing. He remembered the fire of the water barn where his mother had died. She had been resurrected, but sometimes he still thought of it. Soon his eyes turned to slits. She was a traitor she left her clan like a coward. "Fires are nasty things. There were a few shadowclan cats lost to one many moons ago.", he responded.

Ebonyfang looked at Mintkit and was sort of impressed that they were able to name it. "yeah that's catmint.", he meowed, not sounding impressed. He wouldn't give anyone the satisfaction. No that would appear weak and there was no way he was. His loyalty was to himself.

(this is from before) moonpaw walked out of the medicine den bummed out from being called crazy.

Moonpaw felt herself being put down as she regained cauntiousness. The deep gash on her side burned as she tried to get up, blood flowing off her like a river

Silentkit nodded. No one had been able to give her an answer so far. Maybe it was just one of those things no one had an answer to, like what the sky was or why cats died. She put the flowerless plant aside and kept going. Soon, she came across one that smelled...odd. It was floppy and wet, and when Silentkit touched it it was sticky and leaking fluid. Ew...is it rotten? She wrinkled her nose in slight disgust. Were rotten plants useful in any way? She pushed it towards Ebonyfang and gave him a questioning look. @Angelique

Skyfall poked her head into the medicine den. "Hello?" Shenoticed the group of cats and her eyes widened. "What happened?"

With a huff and a groan Barkbrush finally hauled himself into the medicine cats den, shoving down a wave of bitterness that the 30 second journey took him a couple of minuets with his advanced age. So deciding just inside the entrance of the den was as far as he could probably manage on his own the elder barked out "Ebonyfang! I know you're in here, I may not be able to see you well anymore but I can smell you. My joints are killing me so I dont think Ive slept well for a few days and its getting intolerable. Id offer to bring you a snake if you can manage to fix this but I think this is a stellar example of how my snake hunting days are over." The old elder didnt really intend to be as short as he was being but the pain was getting on his last temper (he did give a short respectful nod once he could actually see the medicine cat as a sort of apology though).
