"Good morning."
He approaches the she-cat with his tail raised high in a greeting of his own. There was a bit of concern in his expression, confused as to why his original pair of patrol mates had been dismissed, but he says nothing. Sending two cats out to patrol the border was a bit risky, all things considered, but Yarrowcrest takes it in stride. Perhaps this was Alderstep's way of showing that he trusted him.
At the sound of an energetic greeting, Fudge turned emerald hues towards the culprit, a deadpanned look upon his youthful features. His moment of doubt, of whether he should continue to catch up to the patrol that had obviously left without him was gone. This had to be one of the two cats he'd been assigned to go hunting with. Gratefully, thanks to The Boulder, he was at least familiar with the place they were going to, so he knew for a fact he could get there alone. How fortuitous was that? But even luckier? He hadn't been left in the dust.
Unfortunately, his luck turned at this point, as the dark molly before him now seemed to be every bit as chatty and upbeat as The Boulder. Save your energy for later... um... what was her name again? Something with eyes. Whatever. Wasn't his problem. All he wanted was to get going. Have this over and done with so he could go back to what was truly important. A nap. He was a growing kit, after all. No one could tell him naps weren't needed, hmph.
"Convoy," he responded in a clipped voice.
There was absolutely no way in hell he was going to be the one leading this patrol. He was four moons old, thank you very much. What if something bigger than him thought he was a tasty snack and he didn't make it back? No no no, this Haseyes would be a much better lead. Getting up as if to make a point, the young apprentice stood, facing the direction of the camp entrance before shifting his emotionless stare back towards the green eyed molly.

After waiting for...well longer than she should have. The apprentice simply stood herself up, and made her way out to Sunkissed creek. Deciding that if they did not wish to be punctual, she wouldn't be polite. If they wished, they could catch up.

Silversong grinned at the apprentice, "It's alright, you're here now. Ok, everyone follow me." He disappeared through the camp exit, flicking his silver-striped tail behind him to indicate that they should follow close behind him. Once he made sure they were all out the tunnel safely, he turned and bounded into the forest, leading the way to Sunkissed Creek.

Feathernose playfully nudges her Clanmate's shoulder. "Race you!" she teases, scurrying off to the border. Of course, she pranced on silent feet, constantly aware of her noise level.
Sunleap heard his name called. The yellow tom searched for his patrol mates. He spotted Treepaw and padded up to her. Not seeing Roosterflame anywhere he called out for him. Roosterflame! @SuspiciousMindz @Willowfern

Sunleap meowed Treepaw it looks like Roosterflame isn''t coming. We'll have to leave without him. @SuspiciousMindz (Willowfern is on hiatus so it's going to be just Sunleap and Treepaw)

I often end up editing my applications, especially if I'm not using a form so don't consider my first draft to be final as it likely isn't, especially if it's a kit finder. If one of my characters says, thinks, or does something you don't like please don't get angry at me since I'm just trying to roleplay their personalities.

Drizzlecloud nodded to Sunleap, a smile appearing on her face. "Thank you, Sunleap." The fact that Roosterflame never showed up concerned her, though.. Perhaps she'd try to find the warrior in order to chat with them. "You and Treepaw did well! You're both dismissed, then."
