ShadowClan Life Before Destruction

Frostpaw dipped his head slightly in reply, then signaled with his tail for Honeypaw to get going. The white apprentice mentally added another berry to his collection. Each one would represent another ShadowClan apprentice. He had two berries so far, although if one of the apprentices turned out to be a jerk, then he could always ignore their berry and let them rot. Luckily for Honeypaw, he seemed kind enough. His berry would be one of the fresher ones on the bush.

As Bloodtooth yawned, he spotted a plump frog in the fresh-kill pile. He padded over to the frog and took it, eating it quickly.

Shadequill waited for Honeypaw, trying to suppress a yawn from his large maw. He decided then and there he would practice without him for a moment, taking the time to strike a few rotting logs.
"Just a mouthful of catmint helps the sickness go down! The sickness go down, the sickness go do-owwn~" He meowed a little melody to himself, not realizing Honeypaw had already arrived. @DarkNight

Honeypaw looked at his mentor weirdly. What was he meowing about?He laughed a little to himself as he watched his seemingly carefree mentor.
"Are we going to train?" Honeypaw didn't want to scare Shadequill, but he was acting so funny! Maybe he was hoping for a little scare...

"Oh," murmured Smokesight. He got the feeling that he shouldn't be there, but the cat also had never directly asked him to leave. He shrugged to himself, raising his head from the river. "Well, I suppose the weather is subjective. All in the eye of the beholder, you know?" He chuckled lightly to himself, before cutting himself off because of the other cat's mood. "I didn't mean to offend you. I'm just coming to the river, like anyone else."

Wait, he saw that!!! He jumped backwards, landing on one of the rotting logs he was 'attacking' with great force.
"Eww, the thing's slimy and chunky... Oh well. Alright, it's time to battle train! First, we are going to learn defensive moves, so you don't get your butt kicked by other clan cats, rogues, or any other cat for that matter." He smiled a bit, waiting to be asked a question or two.

Honeypaw laughed so hard when Shadequill fell back, he had to sit down to control it. Then he quickly composed himself. "Okay, dadiest of dads. Let's get started." He gave another snort of laughter.

"Your not offending me. Just annoying me." How can a cat be so happy, when there are so many things wrong with the world? Doesn't he want to fix them?

He couldn't help but laugh with him, because it was kind of funny when he thought about it! He made sure to get any spare wood chunks out of his fur, which was hard considering how thick and spiky it was. He ended up rolling on his side to try and get them all off, then he sat up trying to look as dignified as a tom that was just singing and rolling on his back could look.
"Alright, so in order to learn these tactics that have helped all cats at one point or another, you first should try attacking me, and watch what I do to defend myself." He meowed, trying to sound somewhat experienced.

Thornkit's eyes fluttered open. “...Mom? Are you th-“ They broke off, coughing. ‘...Ow.’ Thornkit shakily stood up, then tried again. “Mom, are you there?” They blearily blinked sleep out of their eyes, awaiting an answer.

Milktooth shifted closer to the kit, gathering them close to herself to let them know she was there. "I'm right here, Thornkit. Are you okay?" She was worried about the kit's coughing, inspecting them closely.
