Larkswoop tilted her head. ”To be honest, I didn’t get there until I heard them calling each other names, but from what I heard from Dusklion’s voice when leaving, she was clearly being sarcastic when she said ‘WindClan’s Aid’.”

She turned her head to look at him. “I think that Lynxshade could have told her about the three Clans’ plans to drive RiverClan out - and if not straight up, for sure implied it.”

“Warning Bumblestar and Twilightstar may be our best options right now. If we tell Dawnstar, she’ll hardly believe us, even if we are aligned.”

A furrow of his brow. So, it didn't seem like Larkswoop had heard it for sure.. but it didn't make it any less of a possibility. "I'll talk to Bumba about this, 'n she'll go from there. Sarcasm or not, if that ShadowClan cat shared anything it could impact how our plans go." Considering Dawnstar's yelling as they were leaving the Seastones, he could imagine she was getting to the bottom of this mystery too. But, he still needed to tell his mother about what happened.

"Anything else I should know?" He wasn't going to drag her back to camp, but wanted to make sure he had all the information he was gonna get from this.

Larkswoop nodded. “For sure, and not that I know of. It is a possibility Fadingsun could know now, too, seeing that Dusklion knows.”

"Oh, it's safe to assume he does." A swish of his tail, irritated - more-so with ShadowClan than anyone else in the moment. Was this Leanshadow stupid?? Why the hell would they run their mouth so much? He hoped Dawnstar shredded her, 'cause if she didn't he might. "Thanks for the information.. I'm gonna go talk to my mom."

Wolfhive started to head back to camp. "You're free to do whatever, just don't cause trouble!" No going back to play fisticuffs with Lynxshade, even if she had it coming.

Larkswoop nodded. “Sorry about that,” She meowed. “There’s no point in me fighting that battle when Dawnstar is going to do it for me.”

Both cats had heard Dawnstar hissing at Lynxshade as they left Seastones, and Larkswoop had given a snort of laughter. She hadn’t aimed to get the Enforcer in trouble, but the moment Lynxshade gave out valuable information, the better it got when Dawnstar had intercepted her.

“Hadn’t aimed to get her in trouble. I find it hilarious that I did, though.”

Larkswoop padded along within ThunderClan Territory as Wolfhive left for the ThunderClan Camp, her green eyes narrowed.

Lynxshade had said some valuable stuff. Stuff about how ShadowClan had conspired to attack ThunderClan. Perhaps she should report that to Bumblestar. Another thing that the ShadowClanner had mentioned was that ShadowClan should’ve gone to WindClan’s aid, clearly implying that the two Clans held an alliance before Bumblestar had even agreed to help drive out RiverClan.

She sighed. Would the four Clans ever be at peace? With leaders like Dawnstar and Fadingsun at the heads of two of the Clans, Larkswoop didn’t think so.

Well, regardless of Rosemarypaw's experience, Alpinepaw needed a demo and Wolfhive beckoned her to join him beneath the oak. "First, you want to rear up 'n hook your front claws in the tree. Then you can follow with your back paws." He demonstrated, getting on the tree and beginning to climb it. "Then from there, it's pretty simple. Move a paw up, make sure your claws get a hold on the bark, 'n repeat. When you get close enough to a branch you can pull yourself onto it."

He made it to one of the lower branches and got on it. He didn't want to get too high up, if either apprentices needed help he wanted to be able to get to them easily.

Alpinepaw nodded and proceeded to jump onto the tree, claws unsheathed. Her claws sunk into the oak's bark. Her right forepaw let go and stretched as far as she could. Alpinepaw clawed the tree again and began to move her body horizontally. It looked like she was practicing the hunter's crouch on the tree.

She went back to standing for a second before crouching again. Alpinepaw repeated this multiple times.

"Sunpaw?" Wolfhive called out as the scent grew stronger. "Sunpaw, can you hear me?"

There was a different scent too, a stench that made his nose burn and muzzle scrunch. It reminded him of that monster at Haggard Ruins, but.. not quite. ".. be on your guard." Fallingpaw was, to some extent, but Wolfhive was concerned about the possibility of a similar creature. A bunch of warriors had faced it.. and nearly lost. "No heroics, I don't know what this thing is."

Then he saw it. His first impression was a squirrel-monster hybrid, as to him he could see similarities to both - but it wasn't as menacing as the sinkhole monster'd been. Still, he could blood glistening in the white of its muzzle as it dipped just out of sight, behind a large gnarled root.

Whatever this thing was - it just killed something, and despite having a bad experience with predators killing things, Wolfhive was never one to let theft go unpunished. "Flank it, I'll distract it." If they worked together, they could probably kill this thing and not only secure the area, but a meal for the Clan.

Wolfhive stalked forward, paws quiet on the ground until he was by the overgrown root. The pine marten was peeking up at him from the other side, and once he was in range it lunged for his face. "Dung! Dung!" Ow, talking hurt! He'd only a second to react to this stupid freaking weasel biting his muzzle and nose, paw raised to repeatedly boink it to try to free himself.

Fallingpaw nodded his head he was already on alert but was watching more carefully now looking between shadows and any place he could see also in search of sunppaw then he smelt it a foul sent that wolfhive sensed too he saw the creature after wolf pointed it out but didn't hesitate to attack its flank with command fallingpaw ran left and snak his claws into the flank of the creature that was attacking wolfhives face as falling bit into the creature it turned its attack on him
