Dawnkit nodded nervously. Tail twitching, she leapt up to try and catch the queen's tail, but fell short, thumping to the dirt instead. As she fell, one of her paws hit the rock. Darn it, she thought. Now I gotta do this again. She didn't even notice the kit watching until they spoke.
Shuffling her paws awkwardly, she listened while the lady told this kit about their game.

Chasmkit was jumping around like an excited puppy for several minutes. She flopped onto the floor, breathing heavily. It was not often that she would do it. The kit curled up into a ball, whimpering quietly.

Peachkit shoots an annoyed look up from his nest. He'd been tangled warmly up in a pile of NPC siblings, happily dozing off, when what he swears must be the single worst, annoyingest bunch of sounds had snapped him right out of it. The cream tomkit—he's old enough now that some of the orange in his face and paws is starting to become apparent—stretches to his feet with a yawn that drags into a groan of irritation.
"Who's sounding like they're dyin'—oh," he swings an angry look around the nursery only for it to land on a faintly familiar face. That's um...that's...Ch...a...???
"Chasmkit," That's the one. Peachkit stomps out of his nest. "What are you—" he falters. He'd sounded peeved at first, and he was, but now he's not so sure what's going on with her, now that she's stopped jumping and started whining on the ground instead.His initial irritation melts away comically quick.
"Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself? What's the matter with you?"

Leafkit stirs from her sleep, the commotion nearby pricking her ears. "What's going on?" She mumbles, padding over to where Chasmkit lay on the ground, whimpering. She spares a glance at Peachkit, the two of them trying to determine if Chasmkit had hurt herself or if she was just being dramatic.
