Of course, in the case of StarClan...this can be a good thing...but there is an alternative, and it is creating discord in the clans." his voice lowered subconsciously, glancing away, "There is very little I can do, but...I have offered to do what I can. StarClan and I have...a unique relationship." the half-clan to explained quietly. Burrface was trustworthy, that much he could sense. She was an honorable cat based on her assessment of Reedstep, and like himself, would likely be appalled if she knew the extent of the Dark Forest's dealings.

Larkstripe tilted his head from side to side, debating a tasteful answer, "Elders are older warriors who have served the clan faithfully and earned retirement. I'll end up there sooner than later." he joked, with a playful wink, despite only being about 25 moons of age.
"The dens always need repairing, so you have that to look forward to when you become an apprentice. And the elders always tell excellent stories." He added. He turned, and crooked his tail to two separate, smaller dens across the camp.
"Those are Sootstar and Sparrowskip's dens. Sparrowskip and Snakepaw are our medicine cats. If you are ever sick or injured, they will care for you."

Fawnkit let the new information settle in for a moment before replying. He was going to reply with his usual “whoa”, but something else caught his attention. “Really?” Larkstripe was going to be an elder soon? He didn’t look that old.
“Why do the dens need to be-“ he paused, trying to remember the word the warrior used. “Oh! Repained!” He was sure that was the word. It didn’t sound quite right, but it’d be okay. And the word “apprentice” wiped away any other emotions he was feeling and replaced it with excitement. Pure excitement. He couldn’t wait to be an apprentice! And he had to look forward to the dens being repained. Whatever that meant.
Fawnkit was about to ask what a medicine cat was when Larkstripe explained it. ”So I just go in and they make me better?” His head turned to the dens. He knew Sootstar already and what he did, but the concept of a medicine cat was still a bit blurry to him.

His first apprentice. Larkstripe couldn't ignore the strange combination of pride and anxiety he was experiencing. What if he wasn't an adequate teacher? What if Ripplepaw didn't like him? He inhaled sharply, and glanced around the camp, searching for his new ward.
"Ripplepaw?" he called, in his even-toned lilt.

Heronflight couldn't help but feel like she was similar to him in a way. She was trusted by the leader before her death, but now she wasn't so sure the same cat would trust her again. Well he might trust Heronflight not Willowrose. She also remembered her failed relationship and how creepy he had been. He had been the reason she didn't believe in love. "Well don't listen to those negative cats. It just means your gonna have to prove yourself worthy.", she responded.

Heronflight woke up early that morning ready to go off and do some hunting. Perhaps it would be fun to find a few cats to go with her. The molly scanned the camp clearing with her good eye, her lower one just stared at everything below. "hey anyone want to go hunting. I'm open to a few cats! The clan needs food!", she called, but quiet enough cats in the dens couldn't hear her. Even if they could the clan needed fed and the morning seemed to be a good time. The prey should be out.

Heronflight noticed a cat she had never seen before and padded over to them. Her good eye focused on her, while her lower one just stared at the outsiders paws. "Okay come on you don't belong here.", she meowed. Heronflight lightly nudged the cat towards the camp entrance. Was no one paying attention? Oh well guess she should do it herself.

Shaking his head lightly, Twigpaw padded out of the apprentices den just in time to hear a warrior looking for some hunting partners. He was always up for a bit of hunting, and he padded over to her with a quick mew of I'll come. before settling down on his haunches to lap at his fur. He didn't want to be a complete knotted ball while hunting, he'd scare the prey away.
