The lean ginger warrior paused to think for a moment, “Hmm...I have an idea. We’ll have to walk a little ways, but I think it’ll be worth it. Come on.” He replied, padding out of camp and into RiverClan territory.

Curious eyes flickered upward as Flyfur approached him, and Lionstorm tipped his head questionably at her apology over the idiot's behavior. "You have no reason to be sorry." It wasn't like Flyfur had told him to act the way he did.


More sympathetically, he went on. "If I had a fish for every bad-egg apprentice I've had or seen, .. I'd have a lot of them! Some cats are just naturally foul.. you can't fix them, and you shouldn't waste your energy trying to. Take care of yourself Flyfur, if you keep letting that fox-brain get to you, you'll have more white fur than Cottonstrike!"

That's all it felt like she did anymore. Dogflame had taken her out into the territory twice and while there wasn't much training going into these trips, he.... well, he tried. He was doing something with her. Riverpad hadn't so much as come to see her.
"Riverpad..... hasn't been the most active mentor."
She scrunched her nose. Her admittance left a foul taste in her mouth.

Hunting it was! Lionstorm didn't waste any time as he started for the camp entrance. "Let's head down by the river, it'll be good to get some fishing in before it freezes over." They could do some land hunting on the way back, and if Palepaw was feeling it they might even be able to slip in some swimming lessons.

Lionstorm was getting kind of antsy, admittedly, and he was itching to do something. A creature of socialization, doing it alone was unheard of.. so he zoned in on one of the various cats who didn't seem to be doing anything.


"Ebonypaw, come join me on a hunt." It wasn't an offer.

Ebonypaw's disgust was even more visible than his hate for Burningkit as Lionmeanie - yes that was still his name - came into view. And then he came over and talked to him? What the hell? "Why?" he challenged. "You're not the leader anymore." Great way to make his day better. Was there a chance he would get in trouble? Yes. Would he try annoy the former leader anyway?

Definitely.

Stretching his legs, Sootstar made his way out to the center of the clearing, glancing about before clearing his throat and calling out to his clanmates, "Listen up everyone - it's time for patrols. It's been a moment since I've had the time to send any out but that is no excuse for you to neglect your duties. I expect all of you to complete your patrols and report like normal."

Echokit wandered outside of the nursery, hoping to maybe have some more fun. She had only been outside of the nursery one other time.

Lashtail streched up. "Welp! Let's get this patrol on the border!" He said jokingly. "I mean- once we're all ready," He didn't want to make it look like he was trying to lead the patrol- because he wasn't. Alright, let's hope I didn't just do that. He thought.

Lotusheart nodded and turned to Badgerpaw.
"Let's go."

Eelsting offered Turtlepaw an encouraging smile and trotted toward the entrance. He looked back once to make sure she was following before slipping out into the territory and beginning their trek to the river.
