Although seeming irritable, to everyone else the young shecat just looked straight faced or thinking deeply as always, many of her clan mates struggled to understand her and in all honesty she couldn’t quiet understand herself. Feeling a gush of wind hit her she shivered slightly. Causing her to look up at the sky in confusion of how it could possibly be so cold when it’s so sunny, yet she saw no clouds, only a clear sky. Even the weather was confusing. ’Why is everything so dysfunctional today it’s giving me the creeps...’. She thought this as a very soft frown appeared on her features but quickly returned to a natural state when she refocused her attention on the clearing, many cats were bustling around the place. This of course, caused mild discomfort for the young she. She wasn’t particularly fond of big groups of cats at once even if this was just her clanmates.

EmberPaw’s blue eyes scanned the clearing, spotting a clump of gingery fur laying lazily, a small sigh once again left her muzzle. The tom looked awake enough for her to discuss a few things with her mentor. She started padding over to him, the two of them made eye contact with each other for a moment before the ginger tom shut his eyes, his brows seeming furrowed, he seemed like he was desperate to pretend he’s asleep. ‘Did- did he just-‘. Her already slightly irritable mood seemed to grow worse by the second, sleep deprivation had gotten to her clearly but nonetheless the young shecat remained as calm as she possibly could removing her thoughts. Standing in front of the tom and looking down at him she spoke calmly. “GingerFrost.”. Despite addressing him, he merely gave out a distorted grunt. “GingerFrost I know you are awake and capable of giving your apprentice a response, unfortunately for you, resting time has been cut short, I’ve come to ask a few questions about our next training session”. Her tail flicked slightly, a brow raised on her naturally stoic face.

The young tom's eyes caught the ones of an apprentice, that appeared to be moving his direction. He didn't think much of it though, and so merely came to rest his chin on his paws with closed eyes to doze off. As much as the clearing's activity used to bother him, he now had grown accustomed to ignoring it... Well, mostly, that is. There were still countless days where half of these mouse-brains disturbed his rest; either by just being loud, straight out bothersome, or, in the same way this apprentice did. B]"hm?"[/B] Gingerfrost only bothered to lazily open one eye, not knowing why out of all cats she had to come to him. He halfy listened to her explanation, taking a short moment to actually process what she said, before the she-cat's usage of words hit him: "apprentice?" he mumbled in a thoughtful manner, opening his other eye, and truthfully being more surprised by her statement than he showed "I don't recall getting an apprentice last meeting," the ginger furred warrior continued before glancing back at Emberpaw. He thought for a brief moment, "you must be mistaking me for someone else. My last apprentice disappeared before we could even start training" he finally meowed in a decently audible mutter, his tail giving somewhat of an dismissive flick before laying down. Or had that been the molly's way of asking him to take her out for training? That would certainly be a strange one, though either way, he wasn't in the mood to take any obnoxious kits out. That being said, he wanted to get back to his rest.

Feeling as if he was finished conversing with the other, Gingerfrost closed his eyes again, tail long having stopped swaying, and attempted to go back to his nap. While he had to admit that there was something faintly familiar about Emberpaw, the last apprentice he recalled ever taking out- or even having spoken to- was Rushpaw when teaching her how to swim. Thus he simply brushed the thought of as a coincident, and nothing more. He was to tired for all of it anyway.

EmberPaw stood there for a spilt second as if what the warrior had said left her dumbstruck. Her brows furrowed slightly again finally realising what he meant. The young molly guessed someone such as GingerFrost wouldn’t particularly understand her vocabulary much, For what reason BeePaw seemed so adamant about her to ask this ginger Tom for hunting techniques to help with filling in the loss of experience that was caused by the lack of a mentor was completely lost on her . EmberPaw gave a tiny sigh, casting her glance to the side for the moment as she spoke. “I apologise, you’ve seem to mistaken my vocabulary. Currently I have no actual mentor, since I have no clue yet as to who in this place is my mentor, I call them all my mentor to see how they would react-“. She glanced back at GingerFrost, giving a weird looking forced smile before her face immediately turned back into a blank expression. She monotonously followed up on what seemed to be the young shecats attempt at a joke. “Just joking about the last part. Actually it was my way of catching your attention to retain a response from you...From what I have gathered you usually aren’t one to respond. BeePaw said you could potentially help me out and tell me a few hunting techniques that could potentially further advance my experience since like you have gathered by now it seems I’m lacking in the department of a mentor which I refuse to allow such an unfortunate situation to tarnish my abilities”.Finishing her explanation as to why she was even here having a ridiculous conversation such as this, her thoughts spun around angrily in her head.’BeePaw- your idea of trying to be more lighthearted and joke around has failed me, not to mention I had a horrible sleep last night if that wasn’t a sign of terrible misfortune already. Next time I’m going to listen to StarClan’s signs and not make such improper jokes ’. EmberPaw took a mental note about what she deemed was proper social etiquette.

The young shecat did have a strange and almost proper way of talking, usually BeePaw would give her many lessons on how to socialise with others in the clan, most of the time she would decline the idea but now and again she would try for the sake of trying sometimes she seemed she did well while other times she was given strange looks for trying to be what BeePaw called “Friendly”. “I was told you were quite an experienced hunter, so naturally it shouldn’t be too hard for someone such as yourself to do”. She said this before she raised a brow at GingerFrost. “Unless I have been mistaken? Maybe you aren’t as good as they say you are?”. Without meaning to she said this with blunt honesty, tipping her head to the side slightly.

She'd never heard of something like that before but... It had the strange attachment behind what the little one assumed to be their name. So, as her logic stated, it must be a voice! Yes! A weird one... But a voice! And oh-- She knew what that meant! "pw...pwim-wose!" the calico chirped with a bright smile, per usual, choosing to not add the little strange attachment. She was Primrose, and they were-- Weelpaw! That was it, right? Yes, it must be.
She giggled at the little pat on her head, then decided to stretch out her own paw to try and pat the voice. Long story short though- her destination was not reached. On her first try, she missed completely - finding her paw only swoop threw the air and ploof on the ground. Her head was tilted in confusion. Last time she checked, voices could be touched! Or... Was this voice not touchable? She'd heard voices like that before (actually, no, those were just cats speaking from a distance, but who's gonna tell her?), yet Primrosepaw decided to try again. And it was... A furry voice! She'd felt just a little bit of fur brush by before having her paw go ploof on Eelpaw's, unless the other pulled away that is. But the conclusion remained! Neither were quite where she intended- as if she would've even been able to reach in the first place- but she giggled again nonetheless.

Upon that though, a small question popped up. Why were they there? What were they doing? Those were two questions, but to her came down to the same thing. So as she always did, Primrose lifted her head to where she thought the voice was and tilted it, giving a questioning look. Not many understood but... Maybe Weelpaw would! Or was it Eelpaw?
[ Once again sorry its tiny eeee ]

Week? Eelpaw wasn't weak no? They were not weak. Were they? All of a sudden they felt the need to doubt themselves and their abilities to do things. They did not remember being weak, but were they? Well... they'd never had any proper battle training... Goosefury had meant to but then just... poofed. Everyone poofed didn't they? Like... just went gone. It wasn't a whole lot of effort to just leave... it took more effort to stay.

Ok. This was something they could work with possibly? "I'm Eek Eelpaw and you're Primrose?" They had to be sure before they started to tell her that because for Eelpaw, names stuck like glue. You were Warrior? Then you would be called Warrior forever. It was just a thing to make sure that they didn't get any cats name mixed up and started calling out the wrong name when looking for someone.

Then Primrose? started to or well tried to pat their head and they frowned and then could only watch as she failed to pat their head. Should they help her? Could she see them? They didn't remember if she could see or not or was the sun just too bright? "Can you see? Can you see me Primrose?" they tried their best to ask as her paw landed on theirs. That was a strange feeling. Wait... was it because contact with other cats were a strange thing for them or? Eelpaw didn't really know... was that a bad thing to not know?

At her questionable look, Eelpaw just gave her on of their own. What did she want?

(Open)

With leaf-bare setting in, fishing had become increasingly difficult. The decent sized trout and pike had fled to deeper water for the winter. However, one car had developed a unique method for retrieving prey from the deep pools. Larkstripe padded into the clearing, looking a bit lost. He had never shared his unusual hunting tactic, and wondered if his clanmates would find it too peculiar to be accepted as common practice. The soft spoken warrior sighed softly, long tail twitching as he scanned the clearing. He knew his knowledge could benefit the clan, particularly in leaf-bare, but reserved as he was, the half-clan tom wasn’t sure how to tactfully address his discovery, or to whom.

Strange apprentice this was. Clearly not being let back to sleep, the ginger tom turned his head back at the other, watching her lazily as she explained her... Situation. Not responsive, they told her? That certainly was only half true - he at least bothered to crack an eye open when approached. When he wasn't sleeping, that is. Gingerfrost calmly started to flick his tail again as Emberpaw went on and on, by now the tom only half listening to anything she said. When the molly finally finished, he only looked at her for a few moments when Emberpaw started again. He would've long looked away if she hadn't been an apprentice.

Done? It was about time, the young tom found. With a heavy sigh he slowly pushed himself up. he couldn't tell whether she thought implying that he might not as good of a hunter as some said would make him show her the techniques, or if it was just mindless talking. Either way, he didn't care, the tom knew where his strengths were and weren't. "Some like to exaggerate, though I suppose they might mistake my techniques for being an experienced hunter" It was needless to say that he didn't always do things the exact way he was taught - and that being said it was natural his techniques were different, his mentor had been blind after all. It didn't make any major differences in the longer run, but may do with some details.
Gingerfrost remained silent for a few heartbeats, contemplating what he might do with her. He could always ask Lotusheart to take her out- she appeared to be good with apprentices- or maybe chuck the molly at Sparrowskip with the excuse of being to busy and hoping he'd be willing to babysit her. Sadly though, Gingerfrost knew better than that. Both might be busy and he supposed apprentices did need so training and ughhhh "Fine" the tom grumbled, getting to his paws and without waiting heading for the camp exit. This was the second apprentice that came to him for training in the past half moon, this wasn't becoming a habit, was it?

[ don't worry about length <3 ]

Primrose. Yes, she was Primrose! The one and only Primrose! And she nodded - Um.. "P..aw..?" she let a little questionable squeak, proceeding to simply shrug. To some she was Primrose, and to others she was the strange confection of a Primrosepaw and the last few used to call her Primrosekit. It was all quite strange really, so whichever Weelpaw chose to call her, would be up to them.

When her little fluff of a paw finally landed on another fluff paw, tiny Primrosepaw smiled, lifting her paw up and down onto other fluff paw a few times with little giggles, clearly amused. When not-ghost voice spoke, her head lifted, icy clouded eyes unknowingly twitching lightly. She tilted her head, was about to happily nod again when Baypaw's words rang in her mind. Could she see? Primrosepaw didn't actually even know what the word 'see' meant. It sounded like a strange one. In the mean time, the calico was silent - visibly thinking hard about that word 'see', until eventually she quirked an invisible brow and shook her head with still a questioning look. If she didn't know what 'see' was, then perhaps she couldn't 'see' - that made sense to her.

Primrosepaw wasn't aware of the questionable look Eelpaw returned, all she was aware of was the other's silence. Did they also not understand her?

Twigpaw was bored, so he did an incredibly reasonable thing. Speeding up to the nearest warrior, which happened to be Larkstripe and almost smashed his face right into the other tom's back, which might not have been the most polite greeting. It was what he ended up with though, as the enthusiasm for training of some kind was there. Bouncing off, he asked, a bit more politely Could you take me training? Cause I haven't seen my mentor in a while and I'm kind bored. Looking up hopefully, he did his best impression of cute little eyes, his tail flicking about. @Larkstripe

Larkstripe jumped a bit in alarm, his pelt standing on end. However, when he turned to see the apprentice, he exhaled in relief, sea-green eyes softening, “Of course,” he answered coolly, “Is there anything in particular that you’d like to practice?”

Feeling a bit guilty now, after panicking the warrior he was asking for something, Twigpaw purred I'm fine with anything! I just want to learn something new, something useful If it could help him become a warrior and help the clan, he was up for just about anything! Hopping occasionally from foot to foot, just enthusiastic and excited to get going and do something, he danced towards the entrance, tail flicking. @Larkstripe
