ThunderClan Clearing

Mudhound had been grooming themselves in the warriors den when a ruckus perked their ears, the maine coon mix alerting to the scent of blood. Blood and a predator that'd hurt them badly not two moons ago. Bolting out of the den the warriors jaw dropped at the sight of the fox, a terrified glint to their eyes before the dropping leapt into action, bellowing full volume:
"FOX IN THE CLEARING! KITTENS INTO THE NURSERY, NOW!!!"
The beast was hit full force by the large warrior, fangs and claws instantly sunk deep into its distracted shoulder as it was held in place, facing Littlefox. Why didnt this fool yell for help?! Why wasnt Bumblestar or Spiderthroat called immediately?! There was a fox in the clearing!!!! If Mudhounds fangs werent full of beast fur they'dve started yelling!

With Mudhound size and weight the fox was quickly help in place unable to run, though its head was still free if a bit lowered by the tripods hanging, now in reach for someone to savage it. Still, waiting on help was fooling and Mudhound's sharp fangs detached from the shoulder their front paws now had a grip on (immobilizing a leg completely) and with snapping chomps they started ripping into the foxes lower neck. Not enough to kill it without help however, but enough to stop it from running after any fleeing kittens hopefully.



The warrior just didnt understand, where were the guards? The hornets? How did a fox get in the clearing?

Okay... so that was a fox. Not her sister.

Immediately Redhawk's pelt bristled and she flattened her ears. Fear wrapped its gnarled claws deep into her heart as she stared wide-eyed at the creature. It seemed distracted now after a hearty kick from Littlefox, but if she knew anything about the wretched creatures it wouldn't be kept down for long.

"Oh, StarClan, help me!" the small warrior whispered under her breath before launching herself across the clearing. Claws were outstretched as she leapt for the fox, watching ad Mudhound had landed on its back. Its back legs were still sprawing and with one kick to the ground it could likely overpower her Clanmate. Red wasted no time in zipping around to the back and landing hard on its hind legs (was that a snap??) and biting down on it's tail. That drew a yelp as she released her jaws, raking her hind claws down one of it's legs. "BUMBLESTAR! SPIDERHTROAT!" came the frightened caterwhaul as she continued to wail on the fox's pudgy butt while Mudhound tackled the front.

The Fox is Dead.
Ah. There it was. He knew it was too quiet to be true. A fox had somehow managed to find it's way into camp, a Warrior had gotten caught in the snare of one of their crustiest elders, and apparently it took a 4 warrior team to take it down. He'd seen apprentices that had done better, he really needed to train some of them more.

Wincing as his name was called, jokes on that Warrior he was already halfway through hopping off the Warriors den (he was hiding from Drizzlecloud, feelings were for the weak). Paws hitting the ground as the warrior who yelled began to...smack? The fox? Ah. One of them looked more familiar than the rest, of course Mudhound was in the middle of this.

Using the hop off the den as a boost Spiderthroat heaved himself towards the gaggle of fox smackers. Sliding beneath the fox as much as he could. Perfect, there it was. Mudhound was holding it perfectly and Redhawk's slaps were helpful, he wasn't sure what Littlefox had done but they sure were carrying someone.

Snapping his head upwards, his teeth clamped around the upper area of the throat, nose brushing beneath the fox's jaw as he bit down as hard as he possibly could. Hearing a sickening snap as he did so. Beefed Up Tier III USED. Making sure he was still biting down, the deputy yanked his head back, making sure that portion of the throat came with him. Can't bite or breathe if you don't have a throat to do so with.

Looking at Mudhound with a hint of amusement. "Thought you were sick of foxes." he quipped before looking at Redhawk and giving a dip of his head. It was short and quick, mainly because he had to talk to the dolts that were actively trying to fight it, as well as the warrior who was just eating??

"Littlefox, Whitefoot. Next time call for either me or Bumblestar." a pause as he narrowed his eyes. Than turning his attention to the marbled feline. Ears twitching as he tried to take in what exactly was happening here.

@CattleCaller. H/H. "Wanna trade." he said, it wasn't asked like how a question would be, but more so a blunt statement. As if he wanted the warrior to look up and oh, he didn't know, look around and figure out what was happening in the world around them.

The main worry had been the foxes back leg coming up to claw at the tripod like it was itching away a tick but Mudhound had found themselves saved by an unlikely friend in that matter. This cat was new and really the ex outsider didnt recognize them, though they had that air of a clanmate returned rather then a new cat. An easy spot, given Mudhound was among that group. Still, whoever they were their help was very appreciated.



With foxs legs neutralized the tripod had been trying to inch their jaws closer to a more brutal spot, snapping rips and chomps tearing off patches of fur on the way but unable to get to that weak throat and arteries though thick neck muscle. It was just..... to.... far! Mudhound was going to have to either let go of where they'd pinned the fox in place or let it live long enough for another cat to come in! They'd trapped themself!


Oop! Looks like Spider-dude was here! Problem solved. A bound and a leap and now Mudhounds jaws werent the only ones in the fox's throat!


Staying firmly in place until even the limp twitching had stopped the maine coon mix finally loosened their teeth from the beasts flesh, spitting out a chunk of fur and blood as they did. With golden eyes unusually serious the tripod growled between pants "Never gonna run when little ones are in danger." Barely run in general, this one but the mood was quickly gone, vanished like water off of a ducks back. "Sick of fox blood though! Gross!" Mudhound moods were sometimes as inscrutable as the stars, happy Mudhound didnt even seem to care about the fox corpse they helped create.


"Hey you!" to Redhawk "Thanks for the help! Lets hang out later!" Later though, right now Mudhound was going back to their nap, let Spider-dude explain stuff to Bumble-sis when she came out to inspect the noise.

Littlefox jumped at the sound of Spiderthroats voice. she hadn't realized the deputy was here "Is it Dead? i can't hear the darn thing anymore Hon. Now Would One Of y'all Sweetie Please help me get Goldendawn to The Darling Med's? I'm afraid their to heavy for me to drag all the way, and dragging can't feel good for the one being dragged" the tiny she-cat leaned forward to groom Goldendawns fur and mumbled "don't worry Hon we'll get ya patched up in no time flat"

HorseLeap looks upwards with a confused and disgusted look on her face. ' 'Why would I do that ' ' The brown-spotted warrior asks bluntly. She then continues to lick the blood off her maw.

Wolfspider, a large muscular tom. He used to be a rouge as a kit. But thunderclan found him on the brink of starvation.

He slipped into the camp with a mouthful of prey, a mouse, a sparrow, a vole, and two squirrels. Today wasn't as good as it usually is. He thought, scolding himself. The prey has been poisoned many times but he knew what he grabbed wasn't bad. He took the vole from riverclan, and the sparrow from the edge of shadowclan. He had a good reason though. Nobody will know, hopefully.
