[ I appreciate you rping them arriving, it's mostly because it makes sense for them to walk in after being gone! I think some people already jumped into them resuming Clan life. ]

Lionstorm let out a little sigh when Shimmeringpool began to talk. "Shimmeringpool, sugar, I told you to seek medical attention for your paws. Go to the medicine cats' den," he went as far as to move to usher her in that direction, "go along, go go go. Once those are healed up you can probably do some patrols but you can hardly walk as it is."

Oh, he should probably correct the leader thing, shouldn't he? Lionstorm still liked the sound of Lionstar, it fit him nicely, but.. "It's Lionstorm, by the way. I resigned so Sootfather could take the reigns. Best decision of my life." For starters, he couldn't have done the mass rescue patrol if he was leader. Too many responsibilities. "When you're in there, send Sparrowskip my love."

Minkstripe sighs, defeated by the apprentice. "His name was Sandytail," she says. She stands up and stretches out, achey joints popping satisfyingly. Carrying around these kits takes a lot of energy, and sometimes it's very bad on her joints. Minkstripe circles around and lays back down, thinking about her kits. She's glad they're going to be born soon.

He couldn't for the life of him remember if Minnowpaw was a new apprentice or if he had a mentor before. If so, what he'd learned and what they'd need to do.

Minkstripe thinks for a second. She hadn't considered this question before, but now she's wondering the same thing. "Well, I'm sure one of them will look like me. They will probably have some ginger or brown fur," she replies. Minkstripe glances at her belly, heavy and round. She can almost feel the little kits squirming around.

"I'm exited to meet them." She said happily. "You know it would be cool if I mentored one of them!!!!" She mewed walking over to the queen and rasped hed tounge over her ear.

Minkstripe laughs again, shoulders shaking. "Yeah, it would, wouldn't it," she says, amusement coloring her words. She purrs as Spottedpaw begins to groom her, turning her head to lick her shoulder. She thinks back to when the apprentice was just a kit. Spottedpaw hadalways been a determined kit, and their bond has only strengthened as the she-cat has grown older.

Spottedpaw smiled as she sat down, "When I was a kit I would always try and get the other kits to battle with me." She mewed shaking her head in amusement. She rasped her tounge over Minkstripes ear agian.

Minkstripe smiles, thinking back to that time. "Yes, I remember. You were always trying to prove you were just as capable as any othet kit," she says, continuing to groom her friend.
