Lionstar was surprised the Whiskerguy was going for a name change after such little reaction, but he was fine with it - up until he heard the suffix idea. "Singer?" He questioned, confused. "I don't know what a singer is, did you mean singe-r..?" Stonesinge-r was kind of cool, but Lionstar didn't really get that name either. "You seem like the kind of guy willing to do anything to protect his family. Have you considered Sedgestorm? Your white reminds me of sedge flowers but -storm can be for your dedication to keep your loved ones safe."

To Citrusflower, he beamed. "Flamebriar, that's a lovely name." He didn't need a reason for it, not really.

Whiskernose hadn't known where the idea came from, to be completely honest. Maybe an outsider had the name or something but he'd thought it sounded neat when he blurted it.
"I heard it somewhere, I think. I just don't remember where.... but I think I like Sedgestorm better."
He didn't need the reason behind it. This was a change to protect Mossygrove and her identity. If Lion kept up this nice talk, he might actually start to like him.
He was going to miss the exotic sound of Citrus, but Flamebriar was a wonderful name.
His tail sought out his mate's, suddenly feeling overwhelmed, but not sure why.

Spiralheart took a deep contented breath of familiar air as she padded into the clearing. She was home... at last.

Flyfur's ears went up and her face contorted with an unreadable emotion.
"That makes..... a lot more sense. How long.... can I expect to keep her? Is there anything specific you'd like me to do if she acts up?"
She had no idea what to do with misbehavior if this was already her punishment.

Lionstorm shrugged, not really caring at this point - Foxbaby wasn't his problem. "Have you considered asking Sootfather? If she wants to act like a child, she might be demoted to baby status."

He wasn't in charge anymore. She was gonna go have an existential crisis about that once they were done speaking.

Oh, jeez. Running away from her like that.
Palepaw got back up and chased after Thistlekit, jumping up over him instead of running around him, but tumbling to the ground after failing to stick her landing, more or less crumpling to the ground.
"Oww.... note to self: work on running jumps."
She picked herself up off the ground and shook herself off, wincing at the way her pelt way ruffled.
"Ok, so, do you know what tag is?"

Thistlekit laughed a little. "No?", he said, puzzled, but full of excitement at the thought of trying a new game. "I'm Thistlekit by the way!"

"Sootstar?" Minkfire called awkwardly, fidgeting with her paws and putting Hopkit's body on the ground. Her body. Hopkit was dead. It was so hard to believe - Minkfire had experienced with it right in front of her. And at first, she hadn't done a thing!

"Uhhh," she went on. "something happened.. well, Hopkit's dead." Now the tears started really coming, they flowed down her soft cheeks and splattered the ground. One fell into her mouth, and she tasted the sharp salty tang of the falling drops of sadness.

Sootstar was, at first, taken aback by the sobbing form of Minkfire but he quickly straightened up to deal with the situation. To his understanding, Hopkit had been missing for... a while. He had no idea why Minkfire was so distraught over their death.

"Minkfire-" More crying, "Minkfire! For everyone's sake and your own, pull yourself together. While you're welcome to bury Hopkit - they went missing moons ago. This is no loss we weren't already aware of."

*Charredpaw padded into camp,the warming grass on his paws,he saw Flyfur....backing away hoping she diddnt see. His ears flatten as he walked into the clearing,he turned his back,facing Rapidkit his cousin was bad he knew it*

CHARREDPAW! *Rapidkit yelled as he jumped onto his cousin laughing* Are you back? for real this time?

Yes for real this time,you big dummy *Charredpaw gave Rapidkit a pat* Now go play,ive got some training to do. *He saw this as bitter sweet,his cousin:Rapidkit was his only family other than Rainpuddle since everyone died..*
