Crowpaw didn't know what he expected here...
He tried his best to sneak up on the pheasant but failed stepping on a branch while trying to stay low, no instruction making his attempt laughable at best. Crowpaw was not going to get anywhere here and quickly planned to ditch his mentor to do something more productive.

"Hey I smell a mouse over there I'm just going to go try to catch it." He rasped indicating to an area just out of his mentors sight. "Feel free to stay put I'll be right back."
He was going to leave this jerk alone along the border and the cat would deserve it, Crowpaw bet he wouldn't care and even if he did he'd not mention it to not show how he just lost his apprentice. Still Crowpaw left his face blank to not show his plan and waited for a response so he was clear to bolt away.

Harefoot grunted.

"Alright. If you insist." he muttered. "But come back after you catch that mouse. Sorry, if you catch that mouse."

He swished his tail and began napping in the cool shadow of the furze bush. The weather was nice and he had no intention of training his apprentice on a day like this. He stretched out so that the sunlight hit his belly. @Rani

Aaaaaand Crowpaw was gone. Putting some hustle in his step he ditched his mentor at he border and went heading back deeper into windclan territory. He was planning to explore on his own a bit even if he knew it was dangerous. Harefoot would be fine, he decided, he was a full grown warrior and there was no reason for thunderclan to be angry at him and cause a fight so it was ok. Besides the lazy airhead was probably gonna fall asleep anyway and wouldn't even notice Crowpaw was gone...

Harefoot grunted and hoped Crowpaw wouldn't do something rabbit-brained like cross a border. He couldn't read this young cat very well. He was nothing like that bore when he was an apprentice.

In the back of his mind, he noticed how eager Crowpaw was to get out of his sight. It couldn't be anything serious. Who didn't want some freedom anyway?

Rainywhisker was back at it again with another patrol, great. Well, at least this time, he got to take a stroll down the border. All would be fine. As he waits for the other two warriors, he decides to look for his newly assigned apprentice. "Valleypaw?" He'd popped his head into the apprentice's den and looked around the clearing a little as well. If she were around, which honestly he figured she probably should be, she would accompany this patrol.
The dark gray tabby doesn't laze around however. He promptly makes his way out to the thunderglade after a short wait time, tail waving like a flag behind him to signal his Clanmates.
"Probably won't have too much trouble with this, WindClan aren't usually up to much," he muses aloud to nobody in particular.

Not up to anything involving us anyway. Fleetwind snorted. Probably making plans with Riverclan to destroy Shadowclan though. With the tensions in other clans high, who knew what would happen. @Dark Flame @implimm @Zero

Valleypaw came when called, mostly because she didn't want to miss out on anything good - and was glad she didn't hesitate because Rainywhisker was bringing her on his patrol! Which would be her first patrol! The small orange she followed behind her mentor to the thunderglade without much of a peep, at least until conversation picked up on its own. It was only then that she picked up her pace to walk among the other warriors in the patrol.

Ears perking toward Fleetwind, she cocked her head. "What's ShadowClan been doing to upset them?" She was genuinely curious to know the answer since she was a new apprentice and didn't know much, if any, of the gossip surrounding clan relations. That, and Valleypaw didn't like to be in the dark about anything.

Well, Shadowclan and Icestar are a bunch of mangy brats obsessed with power. Fleetwind informed Valleypaw. They also attack cats for no reason. Although Windclan does that too. Us and Riverclan seem to be the only ones who can keep out apprentices under control! @Zero @implimm @Dark Flame

Hawkmist nodded at Fleetwind’s words. “I don’t think ShadowClan can be all that bad though...”

Get your act together, Hawkmist. You’re one of ThunderClan, for the majority of your life, and as far as anyone else knows, you always have been. Criticise them.

“I mean... I don’t like ShadowClan. All of them are snake-tongues.”
