Stonepaw appeared, tail tucked over her paws to keep them warm. She tried to keep her back straight, resisting the urge to hunch in on herself because of the cold.

Whisp purred in agreement. They were roughly the same age after all, she couldn't imagine him not getting a mentor today. "I...I can't wait t-to train together." She mewed softly, though her body language conveyed her excitement in the twitch of her whiskers and wave of her tail.
Tigersplash couldn't help snickering at Mosspaw's comment. It was the best he could do to restrain actually laughing. "They say the darnest things." He meowed with a chuckle, giving Prim a friendly nudge with his shoulder. "It must be hard on the apprentices to train in swimming during leaf-bare. Might be best to wait for the warmer season." He meowed in response to both Prim and Softsky's concerns with water training. Then again, maybe he was too soft. And he didn't have an apprentice of his own, so who was he talk. Honestly, part of him really wanted to train Faithkit. But he wasn't sure when the little kit would be ready to start her training, or if Owlstar had special plans for her training path due to her injuries. I'll just have to wait and see.
Primroseadder huffed, wrapping her tail around her paws. ''I wouldn't be mad 'bout it, just genuinely annoyed because then I'd have ta train Mosspaw all over again and come up with a completely different tactic for her assessment, which I have already planned for when the time comes,'' the RiverClanner pointed out, looking at Tigersplash. ''And, if I'm ta be honest, I don't really wanna have ta do that, y'know?''
"Advanced combat sounds pretty fun..." Salamanderpaw had done worse in her battle training than she would have ever guessed she might, but the embarrassment of being bad at something she'd always felt so passionately about was only driving her to want to work at it harder. There was simply no time to sit around feeling bad about it. "But a Lionheart's gotta do more than just fight good, right? You probably need to be, like, smart and stuff. You think she's smart enough?" Salamanderpaw prompts, giving Rainpaw another nudge.
"I had Amberdusk show me how to fish, some." Another skill she'd been worse at than she would have ever guessed, moons ago. Moons ago, Salamanderpaw was supposed to be good at everything. "So maybe if I can't snag them for swimming again once the ice has melted, I'll make Brokenstream do it." It sounds like a fair enough plan. "Or Willowtail, if she's not crawling with kits by then..." a brief frown, then a little shake. Ultimately, it doesn't matter who teaches her—just that she's taught. The mention of Caveclaw's name has her perking up again, ears cupped forward and eyes glinting eagerly: "Oh, yeahyeah! They showed me how to fight, it was so cool! Caveclaw makes everything look so easy, right?" She gushes excitedly.
Rainpaw's ear flicked in agreement to Salamanderpaw's comment on the strengths of a Lionheart. Of course, Rainpaw knew why Ravenpaw focused so hard on her combat training. But she didn't think it was her place to discuss her sister's weaknesses and struggles. I can answer this question though. It wasn't like Salamanderpaw was asking anything that would be considered prying. "She can be pretty clever honestly! So...maybe?" She answered, blinking up at Salamanderpaw.
"I know she's has the tenacity for it for sure." She remarked with a swish of a tail. "Truthfully, I think Ravenpaw could become a warrior at this meeting if she wanted. But she's determined to put in the extra work before she's made a warrior." Rainpaw blinked over at Owlstar and Berryshine. It looked like the meeting might start soon, and she started to feel a little bit of warmth and pride for her sister. "If I know Ravenpaw, she won't allow herself to become a warrior until she feels she's truly ready." Not like she was one to talk, she was doing the same thing just with different traits.
Rainpaw noticed the stark change in her companion's demeanor at the mention of Caveclaw, and it was a little contagious. She beamed up at her denmate and nodded in agreement. "Yes! She's also very straightforward. I liked training with her." She purred. Like Salamanderpaw, it seemed to Rainpaw that she received training from various different cats. The black-and-white she-cat hadn't really ever had a stable mentor assigned to her, so she took opportunities to train wherever she could. She sighed at the thought. It made it harder to become a warrior when she had to receive training from different warriors... But, then again, getting a diverse look at different methods and styles for doing things should only prove helpful in her developing her own right?

Stars, it'd already been a couple of moons since his apprenticeship had started, yet it felt like just yesterday he was standing before Stormstar receiving his name... soon enough he'd be a full warrior... It felt so bizarre to him.
He looked around at the gathering clan, making note of his sibling's locations before looking around for other cats he knew.
Breezepaw noticed his mentor and bounded over to her.
"Irisfrost! Hi! Can I Introduce my dad and sister? So My sister is Astersplash
(Astersplash) "Hey! Nice to meet you!"
(Breezy Boi) "Yep! And This is my dad, cranefeather!"
*Cranefeather Nods quietly*

Lost in thought, Irisfrost didn't notice the cats approaching her until she heard her apprentice's voice. She blinked, her eyes focusing on Breezepaw as he introduced her to his family members. Astersplash and Cranefeather weren't cats she knew well; she had seen their pelts around camp, but had never really interacted with them. "Good morning," she said to them, internally thanking her apprentice for giving her a distraction. "It's nice to meet you too." She was sure they were good, honest cats, considering how Breezepaw had turned out. Of course, she could be wrong, but if they were troublemakers she likely would have heard something bad about them.
