CrowPaw slipped into the clearing quietly, her paws light against the cold ground. She wasn’t the kind to get involved in things that weren’t her business…not anymore at least, but she had a feeling she knew what was coming. And if she was right…BerryShine was going to need someone there. The medicine cat had already helped her so much…it was CrowPaw turn to do so.
She spotted the medicine cat easily, her heart tightening slightly at the sight of her. Keeping her steps even, she padded over and settled beside BerryShine without a word. She didn’t press or try to force conversation—just sat close enough that her presence could be felt, a quiet show of support. And for warmth. They both had short fur after all.

Marigoldpaw and Deerspark arrived!! (PLEASE TALK TO MY SILLIES!!)
coilpaw

A call caught him by the ear and dragged him over. Heed, spoke words decorated in a dialect quick and easy on the tongue. He padded over and surveyed the gathering crowd. Some were chatting already, amiable and occupied until the announcements began.
Was his pelt not thick enough? No doubt he could bear the cold, no matter what Owlstar said. That certainty was soon defeated when his whiskers quivered in the chilly air. With narrowed eyes, the apprentice tried to pick out someone to sit by. He fretted with his tail by his side, then made a few steps forward. He quickly changed course when he realized he was too late to sit by that cat, then the next, then another again.
Coilpaw muttered unhappily under his breath. Does everycat have to have friends but him? Sitting by somecat was a simple task; simple tasks were easy to overthink. Yet there! There! He finally took a seat by Marigoldpaw, erring on the side of distance rather than sitting awkwardly close. Staring ahead with his ears burning, he tried to act nonchalant. As if he didn't just have a whole ordeal picking a spot for the meeting. Hah. Him? Couldn't be.

"I just wanted everyone to be happy..."
The second Streamkit heard Owlstar announce a meeting, he started to bolt out of the nursery. Was it time? Was he finally becoming an apprentice? Or... was this just a meeting about the earlier gathering? His ears twitched with excitement at the suspense, and he was so caught up in his thoughts, he barely noticed Whisperingpaw in time, skidding to a halt just in time. He grinned up at her, his voice a purr of excitement.
"Whisp! Do you think I'm gonna become an apprentice this meeting? Then we can finally train together!"

Marigoldpaw usually didn't have the strength to drag herself out of the apprentice den and join a meeting. It just... Well, never proved to still her anxieties about things her brain insisted on worrying her about. A reason why she never really went to gatherings. She honestly couldn't read the leaders expression well beneath deep scars (how can a cat stand such pain? It must've hurt, a lot, and yet here Owlstar was, talking as if it were nothing), so she couldn't tell if the gathering had gone well or terribly.
The norwegian forest cat shuffled into place, her flank burning on snow. Marigoldpaw clenched her teeth, her mind nearly betraying her long enough to sneak a cuss word she'd heard Speckles say before. Then, an unfamiliar face padded up to her.
Hazel eyes lifted to meet the apprentices gaze, expression immediately brightening. Oh, oh! A new friend? Maybe? She had to find a cat to warm herself with eventually, so she was kinda glad somecat came up to her first. It was nicely convenient. "Uh... Hi there! I'm uh, Marigoldpaw! Nice to meet you." She grinned. That was a good introduction, right?
Whisp let out a small squeal of surprise when Stream skidded to a halt in front of her. It wasn't something she dwelled on though, as Stream moved onto more exciting things. Her tail waved happily behind her as she purred a greeting to her friend. "Th-That's would be amazing!" She purred, her voice soft though it carried the inflection of her excitement. "I hope it happens! Let me help." She mewed softly, leaning forward to help Stream groom down some parts of his fur that were sticking out. "There! J-Just in case." She purred, touching her nose to his in a gesture of wishing him good luck.
Tigersplash felt...slightly relieved when things started to look like they were going smoother. Hopefully it stayed that way. He nodded at Prim's invitation. "I'll be happy to help with Mosspaw, even if I am assigned an apprentice here." He meowed. "If I had my own apprentice, we could train them together. It would be a good experience." He pointed out with a smile. Tigersplash swished hit tail, accidentally wrapping it around Softsky without thinking. He quickly retracted his tail, giving his chest a few quick licked to try and mask his embarrassment and bashfulness.
He purred at Softsky's gentle nudge though, brushing his tail on her shoulder in appreciation. "Thank you for saying for saying so." He purred. "Of course, if you'd ever like company or help with Featherpaw, feel free to let me know." He added, not wanting her to feel left out or anything. "And if Owlstar does assign me an apprentice tonight, I hope you'll be open to some shared training sessions too!" He added with a purr, his gaze warm. His attention was diverted when an apprentice approached them. Seeing as how they sat with Primroseadder, he assumed this was Mosspaw. He nodded at Prim. "Looks like you've got company, Prim." He pointed out with a chuckle, tapping his nose against Prim's shoulder in a friendly gesture.
Primroseadder chuckled softly at Tigersplash's remark before visibly tensing at the way he brushed his tail over Softsky's shoulder. Her ears flattened, and she shook away the feeling---jealousy, she realized---and turned to look at Mosspaw, forcing a smile. ''Hi, there, Mossy,'' She purred, wrapping her tail around her apprentice. ''These are my friends, Tigersplash and Softsky.''
