"Yeah, refreshing is a way to put it," Pigeonhop chuckled. He started grooming his pelt backwards, trembling slightly, to help dry out his fur faster. He finished his flanks before answering,
"Yeah I'm fine." He stood up to shake his pelt out, he hopped far enough away to not spray Darkfire, not that it mattered anyway, he was already wet because of Pigeonhop. The tom would be beating himself up about that one for a while.

"That's good," said Darkfire, "Don't want to get a cold with leaf-fall coming." He copied Pigeonhop, licking his fur the wrong way, although he hated how his fur stuck up. He swished his tail around in annoyance at the feeling up the ruffle pelt. "You know, there was another reason I was trying to catch that fish. Do you remember Tinypaw?" He asked Pigeonhop. He probably didn't. @Saltyteardrops

"Can't say I do" Pigeonhop replied, wondering where Darkfire was going with this. He searched his mind for any memory of an apprentice with that name, but found nothing, of course he heard of cats with that name, but none of them had anything special to them. The tabby looked at Darkfire willing him to continue

"Hm..." he thought back to the dark grey apprentice "She was my sister. She left to join- ah!" Suddenly, he was freezing. And he ached! What as going on? He closed his eyes, and imagined a freezing pond, rocky bottom, flailing...his eyes shot open again as the feeling faded. "River Clan," he finished his earlier thought in shock. His sister was in trouble! But he couldn't do anything about it now, he couldn't exactly walk across the border to save her. Although, it pained him, he shook it off, knowing someone from her clan would assist her. @Saltyteardrops @Star Wolf

"Are you alright?" Pigeonhop asked him worriedly. The grey tabby rushed to Darkfire's side. Is he like dying? The tom's mind started going to the worst place, I thought he was fine! Pigeonhop's mind was a whirl of confusion as he looked over Darkfire visually searching for an injury.

"Yes, I'm sorry." He hoped Tiny was okay now. "I don't know what came over me." He shook his head. An interesting coincidence. "I was just saying that I was trying to catch the fish...because I wanted to know why Tinydrop was so drawn to RiverClan." After this experience, he definitely didn't feel any stronger of a pull to RiverClan, that was for sure.

Well that sucks, he shuffled his paws, unsure of what to say. The Tom looked at the water, with a smirk. "I definitely can't understand why anyone would do that, he said jokingly. The tom could never understand why some cats were drawn towards the water, especially after today. Sure trying to catch a fish was definitely fun; but swimming? No thank you

Darkfire smiled in amusement. "Well, she was always a little rebellious." He shook his fur out again, not able to stand the messy fur anymore. He sighed, "What should we do now?" Everything else seemed boring now compared to what they'd just done. He looked at the water warily. @Saltyteardrops

"We could hunt." The warrior suggested. The clan needed the prey, plus hunting could be a way for them to warm up. Pigeonhop couldn't stand being this cold.
"Just not Fish." He added, to make that clear.

Darkfire perked up. He was good at hunting. "Sure!" He laughed at Pigeonhop and agreed, "Yes, I've had enough fish for a lifetime, and I didn't even catch one." He shook his head and padded further into the land, raising his muzzle to try and catch the scent of prey.
