ThunderClan Apprentices' Den

[Ambereyes]

Vinepaw marched into the apprentices den, annoyed. "Another day, no food for the clan. Great Starclan, I'm so horrible at hunting," she mewed loudly. She wasn't sure if she saw the other apprentices stirr or not, but she didn't care. "You all need to get up off your lazy tails and do some work," she huffed once more. Swishing her tail, she stormed off.

Ok so new apprentice! Oh dear starclan new apprentice.....
Mudhound was a tad anxious right now, Lotuspaw was holed up in the medicine cat den after the brush with the hawk and despite the horrible failure on the part of the tripod to protect their little Lotus-honey they were for some reason being given another. And sure, everyone had said 'it wasnt an accident' and 'it wasnt your fault, Mudhound' but the maine coon mix knew better. Like they'd failed to totally protect Leafpaw and Lotuspaw in the fox patrol they'd failed to forsee the bird. It was a fact that tore Mudhound up inside, every day they were not out training Sprucepaw (because they refused to forget one little fluffy friend because another was hurt) they were in there talking to Lotuspaw.


Apparently that made them mentor material for another? Tch. That was stupid even to Muddy!


But.... even if they didnt deserve another they wouldnt neglect this new youth either. Eaglepaw or something? A lost thunderclan cat come home.


So here the large maine coon mix was, creating a new nest and fluffing it up anxiously for a new addition, knowing that having a place that was yours to stay in was a comfort when coming home.

Bravepaw looked around outside of the Apprentice Den, waiting impatiently for something exciting to happen. His grayish fur bristled in the wind.

Echopaw was tossing and turning in her sleep. Flashes of what happened in the old camp. No... I'm sorry... Just leave me behind... Her memories were repeating over and over again. "Please..." she muttered, "I'm sorry..." The heavily scarred silver tabby was shaking and sobbing, trying to fall back asleep, but Echopaw was scared... scared of receiving more nightmares. You should have tried harder. Been less of a coward. That way, you wouldn't look like this. Idiot.

Brookkit peered in the apprentices den, WOW!!! He was gonna be here in just a few days. The 6 moon old kit yipped in fear as the apprentice stirred.

' ' Uhm.......................... Hi? EEP! I shouldn't be here! ' ' he said, scared.

Echopaw jumped when the kit entered the apprentices' den. "Yikes! What are you doing here little guy?" she asked him. "Your name's... Brookkit... right? Remember we met in the clearing a few days ago? I'd pick you up and drop you back in the nursery buuut you're too big for that, hehe..."

Echopaw hesitated before responding. "I- oh. Well, safe to say that everyone here is... relatively... nice! I'm nice, and you seem nice!"
