forest chuckled. sure why not go there even if there are some apprentices we could help them earn how to hunt at the same time so in all honesty it'd be just fine. he meowed. right..if this is ghst'paws older brothen then i might need to talk with him later but for now.. the smile he wore grew wider as he eyed ghostwhisper out of the corner of his eyes. hes quite pretty if im being honest. really shy but i can tell hes a good guy. so ghosty tell me whats your favorite type of prey? maybe if im lucky i can catch some for you. he offered.

He swished his tail back and forth slightly. "I suppsoe my favorite prey is a vole, but they live near water.. You'd have to travel past the oak to get that," He murmured. "Not really that worth it. There are voles at the prey pile anyways, I'm sure." After he spoke he let out a long sigh. It'd been a long time since he had spoken this much to anyone other then Ghostpaw, and even then he and his younger brother barely spoke lately.

Wisppaw peeked her head into the overgrown two-leg den, watching out for anything dangerous inside, before beckoning Ravenpaw to come in too with her tail. "You ready to gather some moss for the elders?" She half-heartedly sighed. She supposed it was good to help the clan, but chores really weren't fun. Especially if she had to go to unfamiliar places like the Mossy Den.

Ravenpaw seemed like a nice enough cat, so Wisppaw wasn't worried about them being partnered together, but she still was a little shy. "How much do you think we need to take back to camp?" @Rosepaaw

Ravenpaw didnt know what she was doing she usally wouldve said no to something like this but when wisppaw was pared with her she just shot up and said yes

"I think at least a mouthful of one of us" she said while clawing at some moss

She then stared at wisppaw and waited for her to do something

"Alright..." She mewed, picking up a large chunk with her mouth, then wincing at the taste. "Tastes like dirt," Wisppaw said, sounding muffled by the moss but also kind of miserable. "I hope the medicine cats are happy about this. Maybe try not to carry it with your mouth..."

In a very muffled voice she said "It doesnt taste that bad"

She sat there trying to remeber if the clan needed anything else

Maybe Ravenpaw was right, and Wisppaw should get more used to the bitter flavor... "I think they wanted us to find some cobwebs, too, but I- ACK!" She hissed, dropping the moss as she jumped back and behind Ravenpaw. A shadow she saw on the two-leg nest wall had shocked her, but as she looked down, it had turned out to be... Just a silhouette a random squirrel was casting.

"..." Her ears burned in embarrassment. "Sorry, I've just... never been here before. Should... Should one of us try and catch that?"

She almost instantly when she saw wisppaw scared took a defensive stance when she leaped behind her

Then she saw it was a squirrel and calmed and sat down

She stared Wisppaw and saw her ears "We dont have too........." she said while thinking of speeding off to hunt it

"You're right," she meowed decisively. "We should do what we came here to do. I'll look around for cobwebs."

Wisppaw disappeared around a corner for a bit, a lot of shuffling noises coming from over there, before she came back over to Ravenpaw absolutely covered in cobwebs. "There were... A lot. Maybe you should just take them off of me... I hope there's no spiders," she laughed humorlessly. This day wasn't going well for the poor apprentice.

She immediately blushed and tried to hide it “uh yeah sure” Ravenpaw then pulled the cobwebs off of her trying not to touch her

“I think that all of it” she said before grabbing the moss again

“What else?” She asked
