Heathernose tentatively padded into the nursery. She never would've expected to be here so soon, but here she was. The usually wiry she-cat was filling out, she was starting to show her pregnancy. And her apprentice had been reassigned. Heathernose couldn't help heaving a sigh, moving into the nursery in some ways felt like she was giving up a part of herself. But you're having kits with the tom you love. She tried to remind herself. Heathernose was a notorious over-thinker though, and she just couldn't shake it.

The new queen glanced around, trying to find a clear space to set up her nest. In her mouth, she gingerly carried the feather Lionscar had given her earlier. Hoping to keep it with her in her new nest. She was starting to feel overwhelmed, unsure of where her place was and even where to put her paws. Feeling helpless, like a newly made apprentice, she looked around. Hoping to catch the eye of one of the other queens for help.

Mistykit looked over at Whistlekit and Sedgekit and purred. ' 'Sure, I'll join.' ' She quickly padded over to the other kits, ready for whenever they are.

"So we have three cats!" Whistlekit whistles, eyes in thin, joyful cresents. "One, two, three... GO!" She calls out prettily, pointing at the sun in the sky.

As his sister counts down, Sedgekit keeps his eyes closed. Only after she shouts 'go!' does he snap open his eyes and glare at the bright sun in the sky. It was brighter than he thought, but only a few seconds has passed, and his eyes don't sting or feel dry. Yet. Sedgekit isn't very competitive, and he feels worried about the other cats. It'll be best if he stops and quits after less than a minute, he decides. Even if his sister will feel disappointed, better safe than sorry.

As soon as Whistlekit yelled out "go!", Mistykit turned towards the sunny light, her eyes wide open. She sat down patiently, watching the bright light, feeling her fur began to warm up.

Nightkit◆She-Kit◆2 Moons Old
(Currently stuck in nursery for rule-breaking and leaving camp)

Nightkit sat in a dark little corner in the nursery, hoping her black pelt would keep her hidden from the other kits in the nursery. Her pelt burned with embarrassment for getting caught sneaking out of camp. She curled into a tighter ball and let her amber eyes wander around the nursery.

“Wait, it’s sun staring? You should’ve told me, I thought it was something else!” Said Ashkit. And so when Whislekit said go, Ashkit also started to stare at the sun. It was very bright. Very very bright…

Freezekit twitched his ear when he heard Ashkit complain. He was about to reply, when he heard Whistlekit say go! very suddenly. He was caught off-guard, so he was slower than the other kits. He felt the warmth of the sun on his pelt, and he positioned his face to face that warmth. He could feel the sun on his eyes, though of course he couldn't see it. He could do this! I bet I'm already winning, he thought in triumph. Though, his eyes were heating up uncomfortably... No, he thought stubbornly. It's nothing. Surely this was one thing he could succeed in.

"I'm giving up, I lose." Sedgekit looks away from the sun, blinking and moistening his dry eyes. He looks wryly at the other kits, hoping none would be so foolish as to continue for too long. He glances at Leopardsong. He's going to call for help if things get out of hand.

"Then there's three cats left," Whistlekit meows enthusiastically, not noticing her brother's glance at the queens.

Mistykit lowered her eyelids a bit, not yet closing them as she kept staring at the bright light. She heard Sedgekit quit and knew she had to keep going. She pawed at the ground beneath her, her face still facing the sunlight.

the small kit sighed he kept pawing at a small feather on his nest. he was trying to keep himself happy and entertained. owlkit giggled watching the feather fly up when his paw smashed down on it. He tried to catch it but everywhere he went the weather fluttered away because of impact so he's running around and playing with the feather, giggling
