"Oh, hello Snowkit! I'm Olivekit" she respoded cheerfully

"At least I'm guessing your name is Snowkit. But you could be an Icekit. Or Willowkit" she praced around the nursery, listing of dozens of names without stopping utill she ran out of breath.

Chasmkit was walking around the Nursery looking for something to do. She was not supposed to leave the Nursery just yet.

She looked at Peachkit with wide eyes for a moment, then shook her head, as if dismissing a thought.

She flicked her ear in amusement at the little kit's adorable expression. Aw, he's younger than me, she thought. Snowkit blinked at the kit, giving him a silent apology for bumping into him.

"I'm Snowkit!" She mewed cheerfully, ducking under the swat. She seemed undaunted by the younger kit's haughtiness and unfriendliness. She bounced on her paws, full of energy, and started talking, determined to make a new friend.

"Oops, were you chasing the butterfly too?" she asked. not waiting to be answered, she went on. "That was so cool! I never saw a butterfly with that color before. Ooh, do you think there are others like that? I can't wait until I'm an apprentice! I bet I could catch allll the birds. Whoa, what was that? oh, it was just a beetle..." She chattered, still talking.
As she talked, she had a habit of making small movements, the flick of her tail, the turn of her head, swiveling her ears. It somehow added emphasis to every word she said, as if she was living each moment to the fullest.

"Did you go to the battle training event? That was so fun! I wonder what it's like to be Clan Leader. It must be tough! It's really nice out today. I wonder who my mentor will be? I hope not [insert cat name here], he's so grumpy!... " She continued with a barrage of words rapidly spilling out of her nonstop. It wasn't like she couldn't stop. But sometimes it was hard. She often blurted out stuff she didn't mean, or words she just thought of, not processing them fully.

Snowkit abruptly cutted off and twisted over to Olivekit, saying, "Hi!", gesturing with her tail for Olive to join them.

She turned back to Peachkit. "Anyways, where was I..?" She trailed off, looking slightly confused.

"What are you doing Snowkit?" she asked. "OOOO, a butterfly!"

"Do you ever settle down?" He shoots a brief, critical look at Olivekit, which falls flat on such a young face. It's clear this little tom is trying to emulate an older presence in his life, playing grown-up as best he can, but he's not really pulling it off. It's no wonder Snowkit has no trouble easily chattering on, vivid and bright in spite of the younger kit's petulant act.

Peachkit tries to frown extra hard at her but it's difficult. A beetle? He wants to see the beetle. Birds? He wants to catch birds. No matter how grumpy he wants to act, Snowkit's a compelling little lady, and soon enough Peachkit is just sat in an intent silence, entertained by her sunny demeanor.

"No, I couldn't go yet—what was so fun about it??" He asks, suddenly very sincere, like he's forgotten to try and act cool and aloof. "Being a leader must be fun, or else why would anyone wanna do it?" He can't respond to all of her tangents but he wants to try. Snowkit's moving so fast that Peachkit almost sees it as a fun chalenge to try and keep up. "I'll let you know when I'm leader." Speaking of challenges. He offers a smile that's unduly smug.

Peachkit peeks back to Olivekit. Now that he's lost interest in pretending to be uninterested, he looks at her a little kinder, now. "Guess my name!" He begs. "And...and guess her name, too!" Peachkit adds, gesturing to Chasmkit, who appears to be a little closer in age to him and who he thinks it's be a shame to leave out.

"I...i never do... anyway..." she said slowly. 'Play it cool', she thought, 'and they will never know...'. She looked up when everyone started to stare at her. "I am fine' she said, but it wasn't convincing
