Anger pulsated through her, enough so that she stalked shakily over to Dovecloud. "I said fall back, Dovecloud. RiverClan is retreating. Look around you," she urged the warrior to recognize all the death, all the bloodloss. Her blue eyes narrowed and she jerked her head in the direction of the edge of the cove. "Gather there with the rest of ThunderClan and wait." Her tone implied she would not be arguing.

Excitement jolted through Cinderpaw as she could feel her claws finally begin to sink into the warrior's back. It didn't take much to best these guppies, did it? Well, at least, that's what the apprentice thought-- before a head smashing into her snout caught her off guard. She let out a yelp of pain, reeling back, but not far enough to escape the jaws of the cat she was latched onto.

It didn't take long for her to be whirling through the air again. A pit formed in her stomach, expecting the unbearably long fall that she experienced after being tossed from the Thunderwillow. Instead, she hit the ground rather quickly... landing right on top of some of the seashell shrapnel that had been left on the sand. She could feel the shards slice through her pelt, no doubt leaving some imbedded in her skin. It wouldn't be fun to pick those out later, that was for sure.

As Cinderpaw attempted to stagger to her paws, however, a wave of exhaustion washed over her. Black flecks danced across her vision as she desperately tried to lift herself to her feet and face back at her enemy. "D-- Dammit! Dammi....t..." It seemed her pain had finally caught up to her as the adrenaline ebbed away. Every part of her body ached dully, not to mention the sharp, searing pain coming from her various wounds. She would not be getting up again tonight.

As her vision began to fade, the only feeling suspended in her mind was rage. Less at her opponent, and more at herself... how weak was she?

Her eyes fluttered close. Riverclan was free to do with her as they pleased.

skystar moved out of the way of lotuspaw but before he could move back to attack, he heard snowleap's yowl. he snarled and began to speak. "snowleap! what the hell is wrong with you?" he spat. disregarding the cats he was attacking he ran to the deputy. "what are you doing calling off the fight?? we need to fight." turning to cindersky he hissed. "you. what gave you any right to attack territory that is ours, the firefly cove is ours and ours alone you assholes." skystar kept his claws unsheathed as he spoke, and prepared to attack at any moment, he wasn't going to let his clan cower in the face of something that was as broken as thunderclan.

Backing away from the cats, Dimshard looks around for Streampaw. Seeing the small apprentice, he can't move. He can barely breathe. He must get his kits to RiverCla. He must protect him. He starts to drag himself towards RiverClan territory again, tears of pain welling in hie eyes.

(Open for RiverClan cats able to help him only.)

Narrowing her eyes, she let out a small hiss. Great StarClan she did not have the energy for this. "Stand down, Dovecloud. Now. Unless you want to clean out the entire camp for the next moon." Black dots circled her vision as she stared at her Clanmate. Despite her words there was no anger present in her voice, nor was she shouting. Instead she was somewhat pleading with the warrior to listen to her and stop. RiverClan was retreating, there was no reason to continue fighting.

Twisting to look at Hawkice, she shook her head. "Take Dovecloud with you to round up the injured. Make sure she does not fight anymore, this battle is over as you both can see."

Then a voice rang to her and Cindersky turned, shocked at who it belonged to. He wanted to... continue this fight? "Look around you, Skystar! Listen to your deptuy." Her voice strained as she tried to raise it, rough and scratchy from pain.

His paws were already outstretched to block the hit (it looked like it was going to hurt), when a flash of pale fur made him choke out curses. He lunged forward to try and yank Mistypaw out of the path of Larchfall's claws, but his muscles stiffened, leg twisting an awkward angle. Sharp pain shot through his foreleg, but his frantic gaze was fixed on his apprentice as she fell to the ground, blood pulsating out of her neck. His roar of fury reverberated through the clearing, and he dropped into a crouch beside Mistypaw, not even looking to see where the squirrel was, he slid his paw under her shoulders to lift the upper half of her body up and hold it against his chest, and his other large paw was resting firmly on her throat to try and stem the blood in a desperate, frantic, vain effort to keep her with him.

"Mistypaw." His tone was stern, almost angry, but his voice was choked by emotions. "That was so, so stupid. Why... why? You... I..." He was at a loss for words, he spluttered and swallowed, trying to calm himself. "It's okay. I got you. Stay awake, Mistypaw. Keep your eyes open and just breathe. Focus, you need to... y-you have to. B-because if you don't... if you... don't do what I say, y-you're..." You're in trouble. He wanted to say. If you disobey me, you're in deep trouble.

His fierce, hateful glare sharpened as his head snapped around, still clinging to her. He aimed a powerful, furious kick dead on Larchfall's chest, with his hind leg. Hopefully the horrible cat would be sent flying.

"Don't say that." He ordered, voice breaking as Mistypaw's eyes clouded. "Misty. Don't do this to me." She wasn't breathing. She wasn't breathing. A deafening cry of rage and grief burst through the tomcat, and he lowered his head, burying it in her short fur. "FOR THE LOVE OF HELL JUST WAKE UP!" His tone shattered, breaking into pieces, and he didn't care anymore.

He cried. Blizzardwind cried, he sobbed into her fur, and he didn't care if anyone saw it. The clawmarks decorating his flesh throbbed and burned, and he felt himself shake. No one was going to touch her. He was going to carry her back to camp and no one was going to stop him. Scooping her up, his large frame and her smaller body enabling him to cradle her with a single paw, tucking her corpse against her chest. Wordlessly, eyes wet, he started the trek back to camp.

Funny, how he saw her as a daughter and Stormtalon as a son, and yet he failed to protect them both.
