Troutstone padded into the elders den, his mouth full of reeds- ready to start repairing any broken walls. He realised -too slow- that there were hardly an elders here -at all- and that he would have been better off starting in the nursery or something, where someone would appreciate the fixes. Shrugging, the demoted warrior dropped the reeds in a pile and started searching the walls for holes.

Elderberrymint was enjoying her time slacking off and doing nothing but it was starting to get boring. The old cat wanted to cause old lady mischief yet there wasn't any youngins to mess with. Then Troutstone walked in. She squinted her eyes. Elderberrymint was a very fancy breed of cat from the twolegs dens but those days were long behind her. "You here to finally patch the roof, I got rained on last night and I will complain till the day ends." She grumbled. It did not rain last night

Not sure if this was open but wanted to fill in the lacking elder spot

Troutstone blinked in surprise; he hadn't noticed anyone was in here. "Oh, uh- Yeah. Don't worry, you'll be nice n' dry tonight!" He flashed her a grin and stood in his hind legs to reach the roof. No holes. No dampness. He glanced down at her. "Uh..."
The grey tom quickly picked up a reed ans lashed in. "All good now! Ain't no rain gonna be botherin' you tonight." He dropped down again and began examining the far wall. Nice weather we've been havin'."

"Thank you finally we have a warrior worth being a warrior!" The grumpy shecat said after he was finished. It seemed like they were getting into small talk. She flicked her ear to think of something better to talk about. "I remember when you were a wee little kit Trouts." She said as she stretched and got up from her bed. Thankfully some apprentice came around to change the moss beds. "Wheres your mother at? Don't think I've seen 'er around."
.*.*.*.*Rainingkit entered the elders den. She wanted to know If there was something she could help with. "Hi would any of you like some new bedding or some fresh kill?" she mewed. "I could also do a tick check. I don't mind."
.*.*.*.*Rainingkit, re-entered the den. Quickly she made the new nest right next to the old one. "If you lie down in the fresh nest, you can be more comforable while I clear out the old one." she mewed "I can do a tick check as well if you would like. I could actually grab something less disgusting that the ticks still won't like." Rainingkit piled up the extra moss. She could use it for getting rid of the ticks. "By the way if any of you want some fresh kill I could go grab some".
Elderberrymint was getting older and she felt it in her bones but she still could do her own things. Yet it was endearing that the child wanted to do so much for them though. "Why don't you take a moment to catch your breath darling before you get anything for us ancient coots." She said with a grin.
