Thornpaw was just about ready to fall down at this point, and she did just that, although thankfully in a nest. Her scratches from the bush and rocks and things weren't bad at all, though they might get infected. But her neck......was a different story. It was still oozing blood from the top and bottom, and though it had slowed since the first bite, she was definitely feeling lightheaded. Very lightheaded in fact. All she could really do was plop down where directed with a mumble. She tried hard to stay conscious, and she was fairly well succeeding, though darkness kept creeping in, creeping in, getting closer and closer and closer. It wasn't all the way in yet, but if she let it........she knew it would come. @ChillCat

Looking at her closer, Mothshade realized Thornpaw was covered in mud. Prime grade infections, woo hoo. He started grooming her fur to get her clean and squeezing water filled moss to help. @gs29513 @Dipper

Silverpool trailed behind the two cats, following them to the medicine den. Mothshade called out for Fawnsqueak. Fawnsqueak? Hadn't she resigned? She stepped in and sat by the apprentice, licking off the mud. "Mothshade," she said to her brother worriedly, "Her neck is really bleeding. Are there any cobwebs?" @gs29513 @ChillCat

"I found cobwebs, they're all over my fur. I'm a walking cobweb!" He took some cobwebs off his fur and slapped them on Thornpaws wounds. @mareenakit @gs29513

Silverpool winced as her brother slapped Thornpaw, "Mothshade!" she scolded, and shifted most of the cobwebs to cover Thornpaw's throat. They soaked up the blood pretty quickly, she hoped it would hold. Where was the medicine cat? Why didn't they have a medicine cat? She shook her head in frustration. @ChillCat @gs29513

The tabby was caught off guard by yelling and groaning. Cats! Cats? Why were they here?? Wasn’t there a thing outside?? Oh! The scent of blood hit the frazzled tabby and they narrowed their eyes. But before they could speak up, they started doing things! What were they doing??! "Uh, um!! Hey! Uh, Fawnsqueak kind of resigned! And I’m in here! So,, move over! Please! Back up and tell me CALMLY what’s wrong!"

Silverpool looked up as a anxious looking tabby approached. "Oh, thank you! I don't know what I'm doing. This is Thornpaw, he got clawed up pretty good b another apprentice, and he has a super deep gash in his throat. Also, he's covered in mud, Mothshade said that might cause infection?" Silverpool stood up and backed away. "I was trying to clean off the mud, and we put some cobwebs on to stop the bleeding..." she trailed off, hoping they hadn't made anything worse. @eerie elysian @ChillCat @gs29513

They nearly jumped back in surprise as the golden tabby practically leaped out of the den. Huh, they guessed he wasn’t quite busy. With a relieved sort of exhale, they trotted enthusiastically toward the medicine cat’s den. Lionstar had, of course, arrived before them and was pulling out an odd array of items. They tried to name them.

Bunch of cobweb, ...root they didn’t know, a leaf they didn’t know, a flower they didn’t know, and another cobweb? Oh, wait. That first one was... were those spider eggs? Snailswirl blinked in surprise, but headed toward the middle of the den. With a quick glance at the items, they nodded. "I’m ready."

"Unfortunately we're out of those squishy mushpuffs, but! They're great wound stuffers so if you see the glowy ones, grab them. You can shred em and stick them on owies, or you can eat them for the aching bellies. Either way, it's like.. a miracle herb." Right? Actually it didn't matter, Lionstar was always correct.

"Spider eggs." He stuck his paw over the fuzzy, white sac. "Another good wound fixer. The sac is made of the same stuff as cobwebs, so all you gotta do.. is squish it, and the spider goop will make it stickier. It's like a white, sticky pulp you can use to bind skin back together in a pinch." To demonstrate, Lionstar exerted pressure down on the sac, crushing it and unleashing hundreds of the tiny spiders into the den. They poured from around his paw like an angry wave of babies, and he immediately recoiled - shaking his paw to get the gross goop and living babies off. ".. Ignore the spiders, that's supposed to happen!"

EEP! There were WAY to many cats in here for Thornpaw's liking, and it was all getting VERY confusing. Some cats brought her in, and were doing THINGS, but there was an ACTUAL MEDICINE CAT in here, who they had just decided to ignore, which she was a little annoyed about, but not really because they got her over here and she hadn't noticed them either. IT WAS SNAILSWIRL! Feeling immensely safer now, with the medicine cat SHE was used to there, Thornpaw mewed softly, as it seemed SOME cat was giving mis-information about how hurt she was. I'm not cut.......very deep. Only....two spots. At least, that was the only thing worth noting to her. Since that was where the blood and pain was coming from, it was what needed fixed. @eerie elysian @mareenakit @ChillCat
