Spottedpaw was making little snow piles and then smashing them with her paw with a little giggle. She then purred loudly when Firestorm came over to sit next to her. Spottedpaw happily buried herself into her adopted mother. "You are so warm, like a fire!" She giggled.
The orange tabby laughed softly ”Well silly, Firestorm is my name after all.””Say, Spottedpaw, have you been out in the snow? You’ve got snowflakes stuck in your fur still!” Firestorm teased slightly, leaning in to groom some of it out. Her fur was probably no better, but that didn’t matter. She wanted to baby Spottedpaw a little bit for once.

Spottedpaw stuck her tongue out when she was called silly before giggling again. "I was fight the snow to keep our clan safe! I did such a good job its now just laying all around." She joked before being surprised by the grooming. Usually she had to do all that herself, this was a nice change of pace. She returned the favor by grooming the snow off of Firestorm back. "Sorry looks like I got some one you."
Firestorm purred in content, ”Its no trouble at all, silly~” she teased. ”Hey, have I told you about the first time I went hunting?” the green-eyed warrior asked with a twitch of her whiskers. She often boasted of her greatness but was unable to remember who she told what sometimes.
Applefrost's head tilted as the deputy stood up, and he was apparently to stupid to expect Fallownose to fight back. When the snowball came flying, he failed to dodge, cold snow landing right on his face. The tomcat groaned, taking a brief moment to wipe the icy water off his eyes and nose. "Yep, it's so on!" he mewed with a smirk. Then, he grabbed some more snow and formed it into a ball..
fling! With playfully narrowed eyes, Applefrost watched the snowball, hoping it would hit.
(uhh this is short and crappy but i didnt know what else to add)
He snorted in amusement when the snowball landed right on Applefrost's face. Fallownose assumed that the warrior hadn't been expecting him to retaliate and watching him wipe the snow off his face gave the deputy immense satisfaction.
At least, it had until Applefrost launched a snowball back at him. Fallownose went to scramble out of the way, but it was hard to get a grip with on the snow-covered ground and he ended up getting hit in the shoulder.
Oh yea, it was definitely on. Reaching down to make another snowball, Fallownose felt something hard bump against his paw. Glancing down, he realized it was a mossball that had frozen. Some of the kits must have left it in the clearing after a game. It was the perfect ammunition.
With a grin, Fallownose hooked a claw into the frozen projectile and flung it toward Applefrost's side, hoping that the unexpected weight behind it would knock the other tom off-balance.

"No you didn't! I bet you caught uhhhh...... The moon!" She said in a totally realistic idea of Firestorm's abilities. As she waited for the story to start she licked her paws, ooh ouch that hurt more! A quick peek showed that they were crack and the wet pads weren't happy against the cold wind. She subtly placed her paws into Firestorm's fur
"Listen close!" Firestorm said with a mischievous glint in her eyes before boasting "The first day my first mentor took me out, we went hunting. Piney-eer Pinestrike taught me how important it is to be quiet while hunting. We worked together and she snuck up on a rabbit before scaring it to me! That bugger was fast, let me tell you, but I was faster! So yes, that's the story of my first hunt. I caught the rabbit and have never missed prey since!"
Bristlepaw watched her mentor from afar, her ears drooping slightly as she watched Firestorm talking to another cat.
What was it Firestorm was talking about? Her first hunt?
Bristlepaw looked down at her paws self-consciously, shifting them.
Her mentor never seemed to have time for her. Bristlepaw was seriously considering about asking Twilightstar for a reassignment to another cat.
Looking up, the young WindClan molly's blue eyes glistened sadly.

Sweetpaw gazed around the camp with wondering interest. It was all very overwhelming — she'd never seen so many cats in one place, let alone without one or three fights over the few scraps of food anyone could find in leafbare. She didn't know what to do. She tried to find anyone approachable....
