Sunset’s smile faultered, for only a fraction of a second, before her smile returned. ’Friends..’ The word rang in her head like bells. Sure, she remembered when Shadow said he loved her...but he barely showed it. She disregarded the lick and continued anyway. “You have such a big heart Shadow.” She smiled.

Sunset shifted in her position slightly. “Oh...” She wanted to tell him what was on her mind. “Shadow I..” She stopped and looked to the ground.

“Shadow. I will have to do my only job for this pack soon.” She said, not realizing he was lost in thought. She hoped he would get it. “I...” She stammered a bit more. “I don’t want to raise pups that i don’t know their father..” she hoped she was being obvious.

Shadow broke out of his thoughts when Sunset spoke to him. He turned to face her and walked up to her. "I only wish for your well being. You know that right. You and Shade are the only reason I continue to live." He whispered, licking the top of her head. "I understand what you're saying here. " He smiled. "And you can have pups with a wolf who you know is their father." (Omg I'm so sick. Like i literally habe the flu. Excuse me for the next couple of days if I'm slow)
