He barely grabbed the Tom with his teeth and started kicking up. He jumped under the water and after minutes that seemed like hours, he surfaced. He threw the tom onto shore and barely climbed up. He coughed out water and soon, black swept over him as he fell and passed out.

His vision was darkening, he could barely even move.
Morningheart closed his eyes, the stinging of his eyes was just a mere tickle compared to the burning, twisting feeling in his lungs.
He could barely see anything, he was numb all over.
His eyes slipped shut completely, and he let himself go...
The sun-kissed tom flopped onto the shore, water gurgling in his throat and spilling out of his jaws as he threw up the salty water that burned his throat and clogged his system. His breaths came in raspy, pained breaths as his tense lungs released as the oxygen flowed back into his body. Morningheart's stinging eyes were wide, barely processing the brush with death he just had. There were still black blobs in his vision, and he could barely move.
He could barely move his paws, but out of the corner of his blurry vision, he spotted the tom that had saved his life promptly faint, and he let out a weak moan of despair. Morningheart's throat ached so bad, he thought it was bleeding for a moment.
Fur disheveled, he coughed up even more water as his head spun. Weakly lifting his head up, he stared at Littlewing. ( @Myik )
"You're... you're alive.." He had barely managed to rasp out, eyes tearing up with pain. Morningheart's eyes trailed to Cloudburst weakly, and let out a mumbled rasp. He couldn't move, but he desperately wanted to help.
The warrior's cheek was rested on a stone, barely even registering what was happening around him. He thought... He thought he was going to die. Morningheart had never felt so scared in his life.

Looking over, Littlewing shifted. She slowly began to move over until she was pressed against the cat. Littlewing began to lick his fur backwards. "Shh, keep your streagth up," She mewed. The she cat turned her head for a moment. "You should get something to patch him up, just until the medicine cat can.." She mumbled.

Spluttering a bit more water, Morningheart kept his cheek pressed against the seastone. The tom looked confused, even in his dazed state. "What do you mean..? Herbs..?" He asked, before weakly dragging himself over to Cloudburst. The sun-kissed tom's matted pelt was now mixed with dirt and bits of granite, attempting to pump the tom's chest with his paws weakly. @ WildTETRIS

Scorchedpetal chuckled at the apprentice. "Ah, but slow is better some times." she said, a sweet laugh lacing her words. "Look, above, young one. Stars do not travel fast, in fact, it takes them as long as the moon to trek across the night sky." she explained. Oh, wait till Cliffheart heard this one! She smiled gingerly at the tom, then turned to the warrior next to her. "He's an ambitious one." she said, her voice warm and smoothe like honey. She then scented an odd smell coming from not too far away, and it was not of her clan. "Stop, Hummingpaw." she warned quietly and took in another breath.

Since their trek to the Clans, this place was still relatively new to him, as Opalflame hadn't a chance to fully explore the surrounding area yet. It sent chills down his spine though as he watched the water roll up in waves before dragging the sand back down with it's ghastly grip. A soft breeze accompanied the dying sun that was clearly setting against the water, sinking lower and lower. No other noises were present other than the quiet lapping of the waves against the shore, and the gentle hum of crickets nearby. It was definitely prettier than SkyClan's old territory, that was something Opalflame was sure of. He'd never been a fan, it had always been too close to the neighborhoods he grew up in; too close to the past that he just wanted to forget about altogether. Because of this, he didn't necessarily have the pull towards his Clan's former home as some of them did, and was actually excited about making the journey to four other Clans.
The journey had been a wonderful success, but thinking of the journey brought back unwanted memories, and for a brief moment the tom's eyes clouded over with passing grief; his mother. Right before he had joined SkyClan, his mother had been slaughtered before his own eyes. She hadn't been able to reach the end of their long journey, and a dull ache settled deep within the SkyClan warriors heart as he remembered how jubilant she had been to be apart of a Clan. She would've loved this, Opalflame thought with a soft smile, a light brightening up his gaze once more.
"Ah, you have much to learn Hummingpaw if going fast is your only objective," the warror spoke, a light humor in his voice as he glanced at the young apprentices back. It had been some time since his last dusk patrol, and after coordinating with Scorhedpetal, decided that patrolling the outer borders would be best. "Slow allows us to keep our eyes peeled for intruders, such as any Syndicate cats trying to stir up trouble." At the mention of the rag tag group of rogues that SkyClan had constantly been having trouble with since they had arrived, Opalflame's eyes narrowed just a hare. He didn't like the smug fighters anymore than he liked ticks in his fur, and they were really starting to get on his nerves. He knew it was only a matter of time before Grousestar stepped up to say enough was enough, and when the time came, Opalflame felt more than ready to sink his claws into the fur of the flea-ridden pieces of crowfood.
Catching the strange odar at relatively the same moment as his older companion, the ginger tom also paused, allowing each limb to turn into stone. He could hear the blood rushing in his ears and parted his jaws to draw in more of the scent. Instinctively, he stepped to the front of the patrol, feeling the need to protect the others he had with him. Opalflame was not the type of cat to underestimate any SkyClan warriors ability to hold their own in a fight - and he knew Scorchedpetal was more than capable of doing just that - but these were his Clanmates. The cats his mother had given her life to get him to; he would die protecting any one of them. "If someone is there, show yourself. We don't take kindly to strangers," Opalflame called, raising his voice slightly as a stern tone settled into his throat and coated the words he spoke. Especially with all the rogue and Dusk Syndicate trouble going on lately he added to himself as an after thought, letting his muscles tense up to better prepare himself for, well, anything. Eyes narrowed ever so slightly more as she scanned the horizon, trying to spot where the unique smell was coming from.

A silhouette of a furred four-legged creature walked softly along the shoreline. Her poise was graceful with each step, soft pink pads sinking into the ocean sand, no longer scorched and hot from the sun, but soft and cool from the chilly night time breeze. She was lost in thought as she approached the seastones. Her salmon-pink irises rested on the sand before her as she strode at an even pace. This cat was exceptionally fluffy, and her marshmallow-y fur billowed in the night breeze. Despite this creatures delicate nature, it had no tail. Well, it did, but it was considerably short, especially considering that she was a domestic feline. She was, in fact, a bobtail, one of the very few cat species bred with a short tail, rather than a long, majestic banner. This gave her a bit of a quirky demeanor, which was made up for in her intellect.
This was Elumen; she had chosen the life of a nomad since she was a teenager, sent away by her parents, as was the ritual of the strange, exotic band of cats she had come from. Her birthplace had come from the far, distant mountains; a place where it was much colder, hence the thick fur, built for polar temperatures. She was amazed that she could travel this far, and encounter this many adventures, by the time she had reached the peak of her adulthood, the age she was at now. During her journeys, she had learned so much, seen so many new and amazing things, made so many friends, and acquired a remarkable amount of knowledge of the world. For that, she was forever in gratitude. However, as she continued to leave paw prints in the sand behind her, she felt that, perhaps, she had become nothing more than that. Pawprints that once trod across great structures, pawprints that were left in old friends hearts and memories. The more she thought about it, the more she began to wonder: What would it be like to live a simple, family life? What would it be like to have a place to call home? To built a family? These concepts, though simple, were foreign to her.
While these thoughts came into her mind like the slowly crashing waves of the ocean shore, she began to approach a rockier area of beach. As she continued, more, and larger stones appeared in her path, before there was a whole pile of mighty boulders spread out ahead of her. Stones. Elumen loved large stones; they reminded her of her birthplace, a place filled with mountainous rocks to climb and explore. She welcomed a feeling of nostalgia that came over her as she bounded onto a flat boulder, and another, and another. She was a natural, powerful jumper and climber, and she was happy to be in her natural habitat for a while. Looking up at the stars, she realized it must be time for her to rest for the night, and this seemed like the perfect place.
The peach-furred bobtail began to sniff around the area, as if to ensure that there were no foxes of badgers that might already have claimed this beautiful structure. Instead, she was surprised to find a feint trace of feline. Lots of them. It seemed stale...yet, fresh. Rather perplexed, she continued to sniff around. Suddenly, she heard distant voices. Her head and eyes shot up like a deer in headlights (though, considerably calmer, as she was always well-composed). Perhaps these were the cats that lived in this structure. As a precaution, she routinely would retreat into hiding so that she could get a good view of the cats, in order to determine whether or not these cats would be welcoming or unwelcoming. Quiet and careful now, the fae slunk into a patch of nearby bushes.
Her breath was shallow as she waited for the cats to approach. They were making small talk, she could hear. But she couldn't hear them well enough. They seemed like they were just outside her hiding place, but she needed to get closer, to hear what they were saying. She tried to take a delicate and careful step forward, but her pad fell onto unexpected twigs, which snapped, and caused her to fidget in surprise. Now, she could see through the leaves, that all eyes were alert and on her. Well, no use in trying to hide now. Whatever form of greeting she would receive, she would have to cope. The she-cat may look quirky, but she was a decent fighter.
Elumen's eyes seemed to gleam from within the shadows of the bushes, glinting in the dim moonlight. Slowly and cautiously, she stepped forward, rustling more leaves as she emerged from the shrubbery, becoming more visible to the opposing cats in the blue luminescent light. She quickly took in each cat's appearance: Two full-grown cats, one much younger. She knew that if they attacked, she wouldn't be able to take on three of them, so her body movements were kept wary and un-offensive, as if walking on eggshells. She was now standing before them, head held high despite her somewhat submissive manners. "Hello," Her voice was low, yet smooth, "Is this your land?"

The young tom rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue and continued to shift the sand beneath his paws, hoping to find a shell, any size would do. He hated it when warriors acted like they knew so much more, he knew just as much as they did, possibly more. Although they had the experience he had the intelligence, he had heard from other warriors and elders, he had listened to their tales, although he didn't listen to every warrior in the clan, he didn't need to. He didn't like to socialize, especially with this lot, but it couldn't be helped, his mentor was Starclan knows where and he had to get out of the camp anyways, he would have just preferred to be by himself rather than with two know it all warriors. Upon the molly's statement, no, rather analogy, he swiveled his head and glared at the warrior, his green eyes lit up with annoyance, those annoyed him the most. "You don't think I know that? Slow doesn't save your clanmates, if your fast enough you may just be able to prevent the problem before it begins." he stated, his tail lashed behind him. He went back to turning up the rough sand to find his sister the perfect shell, although he knew that his sister wasn't picky about such things he still liked to bring her the best that he could find whenever he went out on his little adventures, it was the least he could do for family.
As the bushes shuddered he didn't have time to think, all he saw was a flash of fur as the two older cats lurched in front of him, his heart felt as though it stopped as fear gripped it. After a few seconds he realized that it was just a loner, his emerald green optics danced with annoyance and anger as he pushed his way past the warrior. "I can look after myself thank you very much." he hissed, swiveling he spotted the cat that decided that it would be hilarious to scare the fur off of him. Hummingpaw's fur bristled and his tail lashed behind him "Land? You mean territory?" he quipped, his fur smoothing out, he wasn't in danger, by the looks of her she seemed surprised, although her body language didn't express her surprise the flash of waryness expressed it. The white, grey spotted apprentice stepped forward and cocked his head to the side "And no this doesn't belong to us, it belongs to all four clans...which you probably don't know about huh?" he sighed, his eyes closing slowly, he could tell by the words she used and the submissiveness of her body language.

"Hummingpaw," Scorchedpetal growled lowly, before she lifted her head to the loner and gave a smile. Telling by the movement and the other she-cat, she meant no harm. She smiled and dipped her head to her. "Hello, and Hummingpaw is right, this belongs to us all, mostly belonging to the sea. No scent ever stays except the one of the salt in the water." she stated. "My name is Scorchedpetal, and, like I said this young one is Hummingpaw. Beside me is Opalflame." she said, and then gave a warm smile. "If it isn't a crime to ask, but what is your business here? It is obvious you are not of the clans, nor are you of the Syndicate." she asked, tilting her head. She hated the Syndicate, and was relieved this one had no scent of it. She examined the molly, looking up and down from her. She breathed in, trying to sense others but to no luck. Maybe she was a traveling loner? Or a rogue with good acting skills. The way Cliffheart was thinking was starting to soak into her own mindset and so she breathed in and turned to the apprentice. "Hummingpaw, calm yourself. We show no threat unless they do. We are new here, remember?" she warned.

Petalpaw Padded towards the sea. Her feet trembling as she looked over the cliff. If I jump, I will see Galepaw. The Ginger splotched molly's fur whipped around her, the wind smashing into her. She looked into the abyss, and the abyss stared back. She walked closer. Closer. Closer. She was barely staying still, and she wondered if that was good. Her whiskers whipping in the breeze, she took a step forward.
And jumped.

Re: Seastones
Peace and quiet. That was what the Seastones offered. Well, aside from the crashing of waves, the roaring of the sea, the rumbling of the tide and the mocking seabirds. The gulls swooped overhead, probably arguing over a shiny piece of twoleg garbage, nothing of concern to the cat who slunk along amongst the rocks. A lithe, sleek, yellow beast climbed over stones, always out of reach of the salted ocean, their sunny coat flickering like soft firelight as they wove their way across the shore, leisurely and yet to fast for anycat to get a proper look at their nearly triangular face. Snakelike, the creature wriggled between two rocks, their tail flickering for nearly a heartbeat before being whisked briskly into the darkness of the gap in a rubble-like heap of rocks. On the other side, out came a golden head followed by a body and again, a tail, as the animal made its way nearly parallel with the cliff and yet going nearer. They walked with such self-assurance it was as if they had walked this path many, many times, and not a single clever rock tricked their paws which practically danced across what was turning from stone to shell-littered shore. Feet barely stirring the pale sands, the feline left a dappled path after themself in the ground until they were slithering along the spongey sand that an occasional detirmined wavelet would sweep over.

Elumen shifted her weight from her left shoulder to her right slightly as the trio of cats went into introductions, explanations, and questions. This strange cat was very observant; she picked up on the short-temperedness of the younger cat---Hummingpaw, so it seemed. She had been able to tell almost instantly upon first glance of the group before her; his furrowed brows and down-facing cranium offered her subtle cues. By understanding one's body language, one can determine whether or not the opposite creature intends harm or intends friendliness. Hummingpaw didn't intend harm, that was for sure---but he didn't offer a friendly demeanor either. A thought of amusement briefly crossed the back of Elumens mind; for some reason, the behaviors of grumpy cats was rather funny to the bobtail. She could already tell that, despite this young one's dismissive expression, she could like this tom.
Her attention briefly drifted to the cat in the middle---Scorchedpetal was her name. A ferocious title to match such a bold stature, Elumen noted. This fae seemed to be the leader of the group; she could tell by the high position this cat held her head, and of course by the commands she gave to her companions. Scorchedpetal offered her a smile, and the loner knew she meant to be friendly as well.
Finally, Elumen examined the third and older tom, Opalflame. This cat intrigued her. From what she could tell, this feline was the watch and guard over the other members of his patrol. She could sense his gaze over-watching everyone here, his stance sturdy and ready to act if anything were to get out of hand. Yet, he was also relaxed; a sign of confidence, and perhaps trust...a trust in his own ability to protect, or a trust in his capable companions? He was watching her with furrowed brows. He had previously ordered her to come out of her hiding place, clearly wanting to know what the danger was, if danger was a possibility. Even though his gaze bore into hers, she found herself admiring this cat---he had a strong sense of nobility, in her eyes.
All of this had passed through Elumen's mind in milliseconds, and she returned Hummingpaw's exasperation remarks in due time, "Indeed, I am not familiar with your protocols regarding marked land---pardon me, 'territory'," Elumens tone was calmly structured and respectful, "And yet, I am familiar with other cat groups called 'clans', a good several sunrises away from here. I wonder if you run things similarly?" This question was more likely her just speaking her own thoughts aloud, and she turned to gaze off into the trees for a moment while she had this thought. Then she continued after just a moment and said, "Nevermind that, that's not important. What is important, however, is that you understand why I am here, on your land--territory, that is--or, whatever four clans that collectively owns these rocky ocean shores, as you say. Anyway, I am to be called Elumen, or Elu, as I allow those closest to me to call me. My only business here is to search for a warm and safe place to rest---I had originally planned on sheltering among these boulders, but then when we remarkably crossed paths I had already expected them to be claimed by some creature or another. Not to worry---they are all yours. My only request is to be permitted to reside here a few nights, so that I may be able to restore my aching paws and empty stomach, so I may continue on my rather...non-destinational journey."
After her well thought-out explanation, she stood quietly, patiently awaiting a response from them, mostly expecting something similar to 'Access denied. Scram.' However, she knew well that her presumptions couldn't always be trusted. Sometimes, the kindness of some creatures came through in the most unexpected places.

[Ack! I'm so so so sorry that is late ;w; ]
The white apprentice turned to glare at the molly, his green eyes blazed with annoyance. Interacting with others wasn't his strong point, and in all honesty he didn't plan on fixing it, there were very few cats that he got along with, the ones here were not apart of that small group, but this newcomer intrigued him. He padded forward and cocked his head to the side, ignoring scorchedpetals statement at the moment, there were more important questions at hand, the molly smelled of far away lands and she had the tongue of many different cats, she was a mystery that he planned on solving. He flicked his tail and peeked his ears at the mention of other clans "There are more?" he asked with curiosity more than amazement, and then he realized that although she uses the same words they may mean different things than what he may think, which in turn made the tom more curious "What's their clan names? Are you sure they're clans?" he asked, his leaf green optics flickered with interest. He wanted to know more, and there was no one else in the clan that could help him with this desire of his, often times he had been thinking about sneaking out and interacting with the other clan cats that they had recently founded, but he didn't plan on getting in trouble this soon in his life, so he saved that idea for later. Hummingpaw flicked his ear and kept a straight face despite his excitement, he wished to keep her here until he soaked up all the knowledge she had, this cat who called herself elumen, so he gourmet a plot in his mind, didn't take long. "I don't see why you can't stay here, grousestar woulsnt mind it I don't think." he stated, turning his sharp gaze back upon the two warriors behind him, he knew he would get scolded for this but he didn't care, all he cared for was the knowledge the molly could offer.

But these fingers and these palms
Full of love despite the scars
They show indisputably I have so much more to grow
Oh, I can change, I can evolve
I can get up when I fall
I'll live contentedly, I don't need a reason why
Standing tall and standing strong
I have found where I belong
In the arms of somebody, there is no more need to cry
