Patchwish nodded and leapt back up the tree. Finding pawholds was getting easier each time, and she soon made it to the lowermost branch. Taking a deep breath, she steadied herself, then tried to let herself fall. The feeling of plummeting ears first towards the ground wasn't fun, but with a flick of her tail, she found herself the right way up just in time to hit the ground. She practiced this a few more times, never quite getting used to the feeling in her belly when she flipped right side up.

Now it was time to try climbing higher. She set her sights on a branch a few foxlengths up the tree and started to climb. The first stretch was easy, but after that the pawholds started to become less familiar. She slipped and nearly fell multiple times, clinging on by sheet willpower. Eventually, the tawny she-cat made it, and sat panting on the branch for a few moments before leaping down again. She would be ready for those foxhearts in ThunderClan, whatever they wanted to throw at her.

Icebeam sighed and jumped back down.

Observing Slytiger, then climbing back up to try jumping again. His grey-and-brown paws scurry him up the tree to about five fox-lengths. It seemed much higher up than last time. Froststorm took a deep breath, then let it out. It wouldn't be too different from his last one, would it? He began searching for a straight path down, so that he wouldn't get caught on the branches. Upon finding the best one, he began to ease himself off his branch. And then he was falling. Similar to last time, with his paws stretched out ahead of him. He used his tail to keep himself straight... His paws slammed into the ground. He tried to spring away again, to lose momentum, but ended up rolling instead. The air was knocked out of his lungs and he lay there for a moment while the dust settled over his pelt, then he was up again.
He winced when he put weight on his front-paws, but said nothing. Next. Practice catching himself. That went a little easier, being from a shorter height, but he had to stop for a bit because of his paws.

Wolfpeak nodded at Slytiger’s words and began to climb again, just a tad bit higher and jumped. He let out a soft oof but was fine.
