She may have been injured from the battle but that wouldn't stop her from roaming around. She will go where she wants to go, at least she waited till she was older and had the skills to fight. As the now one-eyed lionheart did her own little patrolling she could hear faint talking. She could also smell riverclan scent mixed in with outsider, is this for real? Springpaw wondered how long would it take these idiot warriors to learn that outsiders are a kill-on-sight order. Quick on her feet she followed scent and sounds till she could spot three outsiders, two whom she recognized and two riverclan warriors. "Why do you warriors fail to understand simple ass orders that Birdsnow gives?!" she hissed as she narrowed her eyes at Sloerush and treestripe. "You two will be having a word with Birdsnow about how you failed to chase outsiders outta our home, no reason why Thunderclan got to our camp so easily because of fools like you too" Now her attention turned towards the three others that sat there so casually. "You got lucky this time, leave now and DONT come back, or ill make sure to send you to the afterlife"

Sloerush jumped, shrieking. "SORRY, SORRY!" He whimpered. "I-I can't kill a cat! You know I can't! T-That job's for other s-strong warriors... Unlike me!" They refused to make eye contact with any of cats. "N-now what will I do?"
He turned to look at the kits. Then back at the outsider.
"Y-y-yeah. What Shellwhisker said. They're not your kits... And plus... Y-you're not supposed to b-be here..." He unsheathed his claws despite knowing he wouldn't be able to lay a single claw on any cat.

Springpaw could care less about them being kin to a warrior who got exiled, especially when said kits chose to leave after them. "Birdsnow said that all outsiders are a kill on sight, no one is exempted from it, no matter what you say or want" She idly heard Sloerush speaking, but paid them no mind for now since they didn't seem to try anything. "I'm sorry but are you threatening me or somethin'? They are outsiders, all I said for now was for them to leave and if they come back again there will be no words. They have a chance now to get out of Riverclan territory without any harm unless you're trying to turn it to that" she glared right back.

A growl rose in Shellwhisker's throat. Apprentices always thought that they knew better than everyone else, especially the apprentices that made it to be Lionhearts.
''If you kill kits, you're killing in cold blood, Springpaw, and I won't stand for that,'' The warrior snapped.
''Yes, I respect Birdsnow, and I respect you, but I know better than to kill cats who mean no harm.''
Shellwhisker dug her claws into the ground, and she gave a nod to Treestripe. ''Take the kits and go. I'm not letting Springpaw try to lay her claws on them.''

Why would no one realize that even if she had paw in her damn name that she wasn't a child? She was a full-grown adult, she was capable of making decisions that were for the good of the clan and reasoning behind it. Her glare worsened as she listened to the other speak more. "Listen to what you're saying right now because last I checked with my eye those two over there aren't kits anymore, they are just overgrown adults with kit in their name. If they survived out there on their own this long, then they sure as hell know how to hunt and fight to protect themselves, last I checked, kits don't have that skill so they aren't 'kits' " she snapped. Springpaw looked back over to the outsiders then to Treestripe and sloerush, she was surrounded by disappointment everywhere. "You say you respect Birdsnow but yet you can't listen to orders she's given, you also say you respect me yet here you are threatening me and actually disrespecting what I'm saying. Say what you want for now but I'll be bringing this all to Birdsnows attention when we all return to camp " she was finished with the argument. The leader's broken tail lashed as she briskly padded out of the undergrowth, ice blue gaze sharp and dangerous. "Damn right you'll be escorting those cats to the border. They were exiled moons ago. What the hell is going on here?" Birdsnow wasn't a naturally violent cat, but lack of sleep and the more serious of her wounds aching caused her to be a bit more impatient. And being constantly disobeyed. That was obnoxious too.
Springpaw let out a growl in anger as the other spoke once more before turning away. She said nothing more seeing as it seemed there was no talking sense into this one. For now, she stood there watching as the other started to escort the trespassers out of the territory. That didn't last long since Birdsnow herself appeared, oh nice so she wouldn't have to go chase her down. "Heya Birdsnow" she greeted the leader, sending a glance over towards the others. "First, those two over there, Treestripe and Sloerush came upon these three, instead of making them leave our territory they chose to chat it up with them like they are everyday friends" she began, nothing was getting left out in her explanation. "I approached and told them they need to have a word with you for not following your orders when dealing with outsiders and then told those three that they have a chance now to leave and if they show back up no words would be exchanged. That is when Shellwhisker here chose to join us and overheard what I said and threatened me if I so much as touched a hair on those so-called kits claiming that I would willingly kill kits, last I checked those two over there aren't kits anymore by now, they are just overgrown apprentices at this point " she answered, leveling her one green eye with the other molly. "I would also like to point out that Sloerush over here is afraid to attack when it comes to dealing with possible dangers or threats, not quite sure how they've lasted this long as a warrior if they are afraid to throw a simple paw"
Shellwhisker's eyes narrowed at Springpaw's 'explanation', as she called it.
The explanation was fake. Fake. Fake-ass. Just like Springpaw herself.
After the Lionheart had finished speaking, Shellwhisker took a step forward, her whiskers twitching with cold-hearted amusement.
''First off, Birdsnow, I am going to explain my reasoning, not my argument, unlike Springpaw here,'' She meowed respectfully, dipping her head to Birdsnow all the while flashing a glare at the apprentice.
''I know you issued a kill-on-sight order for any rogues or loners found in the territory, but I have my reasons, as you may know.''
Shellwhisker sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. ''And I have Sloerush to back me up.'' She flashed a grateful glance at the tom beside her.
''They were at the border. Treestripe had only been explaining to Soulkit and Snowflakekit - Smolderpaw's littermates - that Smolderpaw had died in the battle. They have any and every right to know.''
The RiverClanner turned to Springpaw, though her voice and words were aimed at Birdsnow. ''Springpaw, here, tried to drive them off until I stepped in and told her to leave 'em alone because I know 'em. They were my mate's kin and I have every right to say that I will protect them.''
Her ice-blue eyes narrowed to slits. ''Springpaw did threaten to kill 'em. Heard by my ears, heard by Sloerush's ears, heard by Treestripe's ears, and heard by Soulkit and Snowflakekit themselves.''
Shellwhisker's tail tip twitched irritaby with Springpaw. ''Yes, Birdsnow. I did say that if Springpaw lays a claw on even one hair on their pelts, I'll make sure she doesn't even think about harming them again. My exact words,'' The warrior explained. ''However, Springpaw mistook my words as physical threat. I may say something that sounds like a physical threat, but that may not necessarily be what I mean, and I am sorry for that,'' She added towards Springpaw.
''Soulkit and Snowflakekit may not be RiverClan cats, and they may not be kits anymore, but that have every right to know that their littermate is dead, and they have every right to know that I will protect them, whatever the cost.''
The she-cat then snapped up her head at Springpaw's last words. ''You dare try to get a warrior demoted just because they are afraid to attack?!'' The molly hissed.
''I dare you to say that to my face, Springpaw. Sloerush will not be demoted as long as I am by his side. There is nothing wrong with having fears. You may be a Lionheart, but you're most certainly doing a terrible job at being a good role model, as Lionhearts are supposed to be for the kits and apprentices, not to mention Goldfish got punished for you verbally attacking her. In my opinion, at this moment, you don't deserve that rank at all!''
At this moment, Shellwhisker didn't care that she was standing in front of Birdsnow. Springpaw had gotten on her last nerve, and her patience with the apprentice was about to snap.

Sloerush shot an angry look at Springpaw, but didn't say anything. He then glanced at Shellwhisker, then at Birdsnow. He didn't make eye contact, however.
"A-any outsider would know not to come into R-RiverClan territory... And I believe this one..." He flicked his ear, turning to Hermes. "Is no exception. B-but Shellwhisker here has every right... I- I believe... To get information.. About them. It's her d-d-dead.. Mate's kits..."
He winced slightly. His arguement was horrible. They didn't think Birdsnow or Springpaw would take any of what that crap was for an opinion.
