Well it was time to go out and hunt for some herbs. It was a fine as any type of patrol. Honestly she couldn't think which one was her favorite to actually do. All of them equally? None of them? Indifferent? Probably indifferent. This wasn't to say none of them were important, they all were and in her mind none was more important than the other since they were all so important in their own ways. Oh she was asked a question. "Creekpelt but honestly I would more say Ripplepelt was my mentor. I miss talking to her." Adderpaw said without putting too much emotion into it. She didn't want to make anything awkward.

Well looks like the warrior had managed to gather some herbs. That was good but Adderpaw needed to get some herself. Amberwing got herself some chickweed so she figured that getting bright eye to balance things out was a good idea. With that Adderpaw split from the group for a little bit. To her surprise she found a little spot of bright eyes that survived the leafbare. With that she quickly plucked them and went to find her pals.

Teardrop followed eagerly, hoping to get the medicine-cat to clear him as soon as possible. He glanced over to Darkwind. Hopefully Darkwind would be all right too, he had been limping a bit...

POUNCED![/B] "You should use that on alerted prey only, when prey know you are there they mostly just run away but if they don't use the trick, now show me"

Darkwind wanted to get to camp as quickly as possible. "We'll be there before you know it, just you wait!" He tried to sound positive but he knew his voice sounded worried because of the sun setting.

Teardrop hummed in agreement, his jaw so sore and tired he fretted he may have caused irreparable damage.
He looked at Darkwind who kept glancing at the sky's fading orange. The sun's descent drew in the deep, night blue. Eventually, stars began to appear as their group trodded along.

Teardrop gazed at the sky, pausing, dazed by the millions of stars collected for that breezy night. The snow beneath their paws glowed, and the trees creaked, while the air carried the scent of the water to them.

His eyelids were falling, the moon quietly urging him to sleep.

Teardrop snapped back awake, but yawned as he trotted to Darkwind and Martenburr in the den. He wedged himself next to them, putting his chilled feet underneath his chest. Curling his tail around, he carefully rested his chin on the ground.

Crickets began chirping. His ears pricked at the ribbiting of frogs, but his heavy eyelids told him that hunting now wouldn't work. The world fell into a cozy darkness, his pain flying away.
