“Nooowhere.” He mewed still batting around the rock, “What if I get scared again! Can I wake you up then?” He meowed worried. He always awoke at night, frightened by the sound of other cats. If there were storms his ears would have to be covered all night. “HoneyKit is really nice to me Mom.” He mewed

“Of course sweetie!” She said nuzzling the kit. She looked around mischievously and swiped the rock. “Where did the rock go Cactuskit?” She asked chuckling. “Honeykit is nice.” She said, trying to rack her brain for who Honeykit’s mom was.

Berrywish revealed it under her paw. “There it is!” she smiled.

She moved her back backwards and lifted Cactuskit onto her head. “How did you get up there?” She asked laughing.

“You put me there!” He nibbles at her ear and licked her face. “Can we go look at the moon and the stars?” He asked hopping down from her head

"Yes, I'm four moons old," she protested, a smile on her face. "When can I go down to the river? My paws are just waiting to get wet," she meowed excitedly, grabbing his tail before he could whisk it away.
