Sorrelblaze nodded at Honeystep's analysis, drinking in the scene as she did. "Yeah, seems so. The scent is fresh, but no fresher than the time it took place." He brought his nose to the air as he tasted the cold wind, whiskers twitching sensitively. The frosted ground barred both Birchbranch's blood and the badgers, but mostly Birdchbranch's. Concerning...did she wound it enough for it to not come back? It was hard to tell. Furrowing his catbrows, Sorrelblaze brought his gaze to Owltalon and Honeystep once more. "Let's press further to make sure the scent truly goes past our borders. Last thing we want is a raging wounded badger running amuck."
She couldn't agree more. While her head was more than a bit foggy, she knew that having another rabid creature to deal with would not be beneficial. Especially after the supposed fox attack.
Owltalon trotted along side them, resisting the urge to gag as her eyes followed the strawberry red trail of blood.
She could smell the badger, it seemed farther away now. But she couldn't really trust her own nose because it took her AGES to even try and find Birchbranch after she stormed off. All she really had were her eyes.
Well, one eye.
"Anyone got a plan if we actually encounter the badger? We could really use a strategy." Owltalon would fight tongue and teeth for her clan any other day, but today she really wanted to take a breather.
So much happened, far too much for the warrior to process. But it would get better, Riverclan was a clan to be proud of, and she'd make sure the whole entire dang forest knew. She was proud of her clan, proud of all it's wrinkles dents and creases.

Honeystep
Kind ❀ Sweet ❀ Patient ❀ She/Her
“Sweetness can be found anywhere, you just need to look hard enough.”
"I'll try to think of something when we come up to the badger. Depending where it is, what the area looks like, will drastically change our plans of action" Honeystep informed before she walked over the border into the outskirts.
She walked pretty deep into this land before she came to a halt and turned around to look at the other warriors. "We spent hours walking, I think this badger is good as gone. We don't need to seek it out to kill it. I think it will have learned to fear us from blinding it. Let's head back to camp before it gets dark. There's many dangers out here and it isn't just badgers" Honeystep said before she started to walk back towards their camp. She hoped the other two would follow as two wasn't enough to go against one badger.
[asked about the badger to poppy and she said to let it have left]
With hours passed and no badger to be seen, Sorrelblaze couldn't agree more with Honeystep. He swore his pawpads were frozen by now, too. "Yeah, best to call it. Let's head back before it gets too dark and even colder." A chill fluffed up his flame-colored pelt. "Brrr." He shivered, following close behind Honeystep. He looked over his shoulder to make sure Owltalon was safely following behind them.
Pepper Bounce
Purrks: Sweet as a flower (Active for 7 irl days)
He / Him - River Clan - Warrior
Pepper Bounce strolled through the territory, lately he'd gotten a better grip on his thoughts and managed to soothe them back to being optimistic, and he was living for it! Pepper bounce couldn't help but appreciate everything he saw, the beauty of nature is in everything after all! Then he heard a low humming and spotted a bee hovering by a shrivelled flower, he stared at it curiously when- AH! The bee stung him! Pepper shrieked at the pain, and the worst part? There was even more bees! Pepper was stuck in shock as more bees appeared, what's with the bees!! The worst part? They all seemed set on stinging him! Pepper turned tail to run, from bees, the black and yellow menaces pursuing him as if they had nothing more to do that day. Like i don't know, collect pollen?? Anything but chasing down poor pepper!
Pepper Bounce high-tailed it toward camp but the bees wouldn't let him go, Pepper took one glance at a now tempting pool of water and leapt into it, shivering as the icy cold slapped him in the face, but the Bees remained in the area, and as Pepper Bounce threw out his paws and swam a little bit away they followed ever so slightly. Pepper Bounce wished he could squash all those bees with his paws or at least ask why, this was just targeting him at this point! The worst part of this was he was now soaking wet unwillingly and the bee stings hurt like crazy. Pepper Bounce dared not reconsider his opinion on nature but it was still antagonizing to see such usually peaceful insects attack him like he was a threat. At least this would make a curious story to tell to Gold Fish later! Pepper had to wait a while for the bees to cease their chase, but by then it was relatively dark and Pepper was more then just exhausted. Flopping down for a quick break he gagged trying to regain his strength, and when his strength finally returned he made a slow and anxious return to camp. Every second was shrouded with the horrible horrible pain from the stings.
(Thought i should finally use the sweet as a flower purrk )

With long strides she had led them out a bit away into the territory, at least not close to camp that is. She knew that being close to camp wouldn't get them any prey, what animal would live that close to their predators? "ok, First we can split up and try to catch what we can if that is okay with you silverfeather?" she turned to the other adult. Now her attention was on the apprentice that came with them, "Have you been taught how to hunt yet?"
Silverfeather nods. "Yea that would work," she mews quickly. Silverfeather looks over at Toadpaw and tilted her head. "I have never worked with an apprentice before,"she says then turns back to Applebeas.

If you have a character that knows one of my characters somehow you're welcome to make a starter and mention me whenever you want to roleplay them together. Birdpaw has flock together tier three and bilingual tier three. Toadpaw has silver tongue. Mantiskit has agatha kitty and mind reader. I often end up editing my applications, especially if I'm not using a form so don't consider my first draft to be final as it likely isn't, especially if it's a kit finder. If one of my characters says, thinks, or does something you don't like please don't get angry at me since I'm just trying to roleplay their personalities.

Treepaw walked along the edge of the camp, bored out of his mind. His paws glazed over the grass like icing on a cake. He wanted to do something, anything! With a sigh he sat down next to a tree and drew scribbles in the flat, dry dirt. First it started to look like a cat then he gave it wing like a bird- then added horns. He gave it a really long tail too. What had he created? Something funny looking for sure- like funny "haha". ``Heh, I'll call you... Birdhorn! Warrior of.. say... Hollowclan! That has a nice ring to it? Birdhorn of Hollowclan! ``He paused ``Good stars, am I so bored i'm drawing friends and taking to myself? Huff... Yes, yes I am. ``

Sucking in a deep breath, Cherryswirl - after giving a nod of her head to a passing Birdsnow on the way out of camp - couldn't help but chug her way through the wooded territory. How could someone be so dense? So keen on making themselves a villain when there was no reason. And even more than that... hurting clanmates for being disrespectful? Disrespect stemmed from doubt... from fear or anger. Why should clanmates be punished for feeling any certain way? No one is guaranteed to like everyone they meet for starsake!!
Well, it seemed that her deep contemplation and internal stewing had guided her paws to the river-side. Inhaling deeply, she let the lovely scent of the river wash over her. It was soothing. Almost enough to quell her turning stomach. With the river still frozen over and the leaf-bare wind biting against her fluffy ginger coat, she wasn't looking to go fishing any time soon. But... just maybe there was a little critter scampering around... Looks like she was right! As the tabby raised her head to scent the area, vole scent washed over her senses. Not her favorite, but it would do! So after a small stalking session Cherryswirl was finally able to pounce and catch the rodent.
Keeping the vole clamped tight between her jaws, and significantly less upset, Cherry started making her way back to camp.
