Purrks: Lyebird's Lullaby On Silverpaw [ACTIVE]
GarlicFrog Is GarlicClans Oldest Cat. She Bites.
TheRadioDemon Is Holding Rotthroat Back While Patting Bearskull. blxze Is Patting Silverpaw. *Lunastar* Is Patting Them All
"Stormy and Crystal, those are pretty names, though I'm not sure what a crystal is," she wonders briefly if there's another name Crystal might like, but the kit is in no state to answer such a question but... she supposes it's fine. It's pretty and makes her think of bright, shiny colors. "Ok, we'll call you Stormykit and Crystalkit for now, but if you two decide you don't want to stay with us after you're feeling better, you can choose to leave. Clan life isn't easy, cats fight and they die and prey is scarce now in leafbare. If that's something you don't think you commit to forever, no one will hold it against you. C'mon now," deftly, she grabs Stormykit by her scruff and places her on her back before grabbing Crystalkit by her scruff too, starting to head in the direction of camp.
[ stormy and crystal can be submitted to the allegiances now!! Once submitted, you can submit a healing request, just mention me so I can have lark bring em in when it's accepted !!]
"She can speak for herself," Larkstar snaps at Michael before turning green eyes to look a little more sympathetically. "Did he bring you here because he wants you to join us or because you want to join us?" Marginally, her voice softens when she talks to the kit, a twinge of sympathy rolling in her gut at her situation.
Relieved that he wasn't contagious, Larkstar settles down some. "Let me guess, you're looking for healing, yes?"
"Well, this leader," she emphasizes the word, tail lashing behind her and ears out to the sides in annoyance, her eyes narrowed, "can go wherever she pleases." She'd had some amount of sympathy for this lost cat before, but it was quickly fading now. "Now, I can escort you off of my clan's territory, or I can drag you, what will it be?"
Part of her wanted to offer RiverClan as a home, but this cat clearly didn't trust a thing around her, and letting that into their ranks would likely not be the smart thing to do.
Suspicion prickled on Larkstar's spine. Every instinct was telling her not to trust this cat, apprentice or otherwise. But... scouring his face, his body language and tone of voice, there's nothing there to suggest that he, at the least, doesn't believe what he's saying. 'If I'd known letting Brackenfire in would open the floodgates to more ShadowClanners...' Still, this cat at least doesn't believe he's lying, so he can't be a spy... but what if his loyalties shift? RiverClan and ShadowClan have never been on good terms, who's to say he won't switch sides once again?
"And how can you prove you won't switch sides once again?"'Can I trust you?' is the part of that question she doesn't ask. She doesn't think she needs to.
"Clan life isn't easy," the molly begins, hoping that if she warns him, maybe he'll reconsider. This life isn't for everyone, even those who are born there. "There's fighting and death, and often we go hungry. Is that some place you think you could fit into?"
She flinched back a bit at the threat and straightened up instantly. "I meant n-no disrespect. I'm v-very sorry." while looking down at her paws.
The little tomkit was still debating making a run for it when he heard the meow of yet another stranger. As if a reflex now, 'Silver'kit used his tail to usher his sister back towards Drample-whim. He should've gone with Drimnle, she said she could give them food, and she wasn't nearly as sketchy as this. Needless to say, the orange tabby didn't trust any of the three adults one bit, two of them were strangers and the only reason why he put up with Drample-whim was for his sisters sake. His eyes flicked between the three big cats, his short fur still spiked up defensively. He could still 100% take stinky Gnite-smark and Drample-whim on, but would Pumpkinkit be able to take on the new stranger and still get away? His gaze flashed over to his twin for a moment, she was also strong, but not as strong as him, and he didn't know how strong this new stranger was..
~ Pumpkinkit ~ Out - She/her - 2 moons
Pumpkinkit was a little surprised by the newcommer, and didn't really object when her brother guided her back towards Dapplewing. She was pretty out of it, and barely cared about her current situation. She head butted the calico tom, her eyes threatening to tear up again as her tummy yowled at her, "really really really hungry." she mumbled, shifting to be closer to Silverkit.

"Both, miss." Cassie's soft voice could catch even the most tough cat by surprise. She had always been patient and waited for people to talk to her first. Her little ears twitched. Cassie quietly seemed to have taken a liking to Larkstar. Michael noticed.
"She did suggest the idea of taking her to join a clan first. Word spreads quick where I'm from." He quickly added. "Cassie, why don't you show this clan cat your current fighting skills? I'll let you use me as a training dummy!" Cassie's eyes lit up at the idea and she ran over to her father and began batting his flank before accidentally unsheathing her claws and cutting open the flank.
"Whoops! Got a little carried away. Oh well!" Cassie kept showing, even using her teeth to pretty much bite some fur off.
"I've... Had this happen before." Michael winced Through gritted fangs.
"Alright, alright, that's enough," Larkwing said tiredly. Seriously, what was with some cats? She didn't want to see a silly display of power and fighting skills from some outsider wanting to be a clan cat. She turned to Michael, "if I do take her into my clan, how do I know I'm not facing retaliation the likes of William?" A fair question, she thought, she didn't want to put her clan in danger by accepting in a new face.

Larkstar made a face at him, "I don't need any 'payment' from you," she said dismissively. "You must know that living in the clans is not the safest place for you. Why not find yourself a two-leg to spend your days with? You'll be fed and warm, two things I can't promise you in RiverClan."

"And no one will miss you?" Larkstar asked tensely, "Dawnstar won't send her entire clan after me to get you back?"

So he'd really thought about this, it seems. He'd thought long and hard about joining clan life. It was... reassuring, to know that one cat who came begging for shelter had at least thought ahead.
"Fine, then," she said with a brisk nod, "I'll assign a warrior to assist with your swimming skills, make sure you won't go drowning on us even if you will be in the elder's den, and... you'll need a warrior name. I can keep Ripple as half of it. How about..." she paused for a moment, trying to come up with something. "How does Crowripple sound?"

She was getting nowhere with this cat it felt like. Honestly, Lark was about ready to just be as blunt as possible with her, so she did just that. "Belle, are you here because you're looking for a home? RiverClan can provide you with a place to live so long as you know what you're getting into. Clanl ife isn't easy. It's hard. There's often not enough food to go around and we're fighting near constantly with the other four clans. You may die from sickness, injury, or the claws of another of you choose to join us. Does that sound like something you'd be willing to tolerate?"
Prince tilted his head. ''I.. don't think they will accept me. Not again'' He remembers what happened during that time. ''They're heartless'' He added. He didn't want it to happen again, and he didn't want to die alone either.

Ah yes. William. Michael had been told of William's death at the hands of Rateye. "-William is dead. He won't be able to do anything to her." He meowed gently.
Cassie gave a gentle nod, tail swaying. She even dipped her head Respectfully!

With the arrival of Larkstar, he sighed, shifting his gaze to view the young leader instead. “I, my… These kits. I found them near the outskirts of our territory alongside the body of their mother.”
He felt that alone was enough explanation as to what happened and why he had returned with the duo of kittens. His attention was pulled down to the pair of siblings when the she-kit had bunted him, whimpering about food and hunger. “They’re hungry and defenceless. I’ll take care of ‘em–they’ll be my responsibility. If… If you allow them to join us.”
