Looking at the cat she nodded, then shook the elderly feline. Their fur felt odd, almost warm and cold at the same time. Turning to Minnowkit, she freaked out,
"I think she's sleeping forever"
“Forever?”
Minnowkit looked down at the elder again. She was extremely still.
“What should we do?” Panic began to overcome the kits features, she had never been the first one to find a cat dead.
“Should we… find Beansprout or Gingerfrost? Or maybe… Blizzardnight?”

"Um... Uh.... Oh, yes Blizzardnight, she would probably know what to do, you go find her" she was pacing and her claws dug into the ground. The kitten was clearly distressed.

She flopped down next to the dead elder then leaped back up with a hiss of disgust.

Minnowkits ears were pinned to her head.
“Maybe, but what if we get in trouble for disturbing him!”
She walked over to the elder and poked her then looked back at Juniperkit
“I thought maybe I should try again in case she was sleeping… she’s not.”
The kitten glanced towards the entrance of the den before poking her head out. “Where is Gingerfrost anyways?”

“Maybe, but what if we get in trouble for disturbing him!”
She walked over to the elder and poked her then looked back at Juniperkit
“I thought maybe I should try again in case she was sleeping… she’s not.”
The kitten glanced towards the entrance of the den before poking her head out. “Where is Gingerfrost anyways?”

"I am gonna go find somecat, you can come if you want"

Birdpaw truly didn't know how she got herself into these things. Padding into the elder's den, holding some extra moss, she dropped it in horror at the scent of death. A curse flitted across her mind, and the young ragdoll hurried forward. Ohh god. An elder died and two kits (of course it had to be the kids) found the elderly cat. "Oh, oh my." She breathed, the moss forgotten as she hustled closer, leaning down to check for the pulse or any sign of foul play or disease. Nope. It must have just been a nice, peaceful death. if death could ever be nice. The kits didn't seem too despairing, but were rather discussing someone to inform of this, so the blue mitted ragdoll shakily leaned forward to try and give each kit a reassuring nuzzle. "I'm sorry you two had to find her, you're being very brave." She choked out, forcing a gentle smile. Once the kits responded, she would carry to elder into the clearing to alert the clan of the death. Wouldn't this be the second body she had to alert the Clan of? Sighing softly, she waited for the children to speak.

Minnowkit, just about to follow Juniperkit out of the den, jumped back with her tail spiking as a new cat walked in. They looked about apprentice aged and maybe could help!
“It was kind of scary coming in her to find her dead, and we were just going to find someone, but I couldn’t find my mother, so we weren’t very sure what to do next.” She glanced over at Juniperkit.
“Are we in trouble? Should we be in trouble?” Her tail spiked once more at the thought of it, she wanted to be an apprentice!
She then calmed herself, no of course they wouldn’t get in trouble they had found the elder, not killed them.
“Do you need help bringing her into the clearing? I’m not sure how much we can help, but I want to try!”

Turning to Minnowkit, she felt her heart tug at the words the poor kid uttered. "I'm so sorry you two had to be the ones to find her. Of course you're not in trouble!" Blue eyes rounded slightly, but she bent down to pick up the elder's scruff. "I think I can get her, but if you want to run ahead and make sure that there's no sticks or stones in my path, that would be very helpful!" Sometimes giving the kits a job was most important, so they could be distracted from the fact that they just found a dead body.
