Mind made up, she stands again, licking flat the fur on her chest that had gotten ruffled in the quick spar.
"I think you'll do well in RiverClan. I'll assign someone to assess your swimming skills once I announce you to the rest of the clan - just to make sure we won't need to worry about you in the water. And you'll need to take on a clan name too how about..." looking the tom over for a few moments, she decides that perhaps thinking about the name too hard might not help her come up with the best name. Simplicity is sometimes the best bet. "Firetail?" Turning in the direction of camp, Larkstar looks back to Firetail, waiting to see if he'll follow.
[you can go ahead and add firetail to the allegiances !!]
"House..?" Larkstar blinks. What's a house? Whatever, that doesn't matter right now. Curiously and cautiously, she approaches the intruder. "You're sick." It's kind of a question, but it's also kind of a statement. If this illness is contagious, Lark is hesitant about allowing them into her clan for healing. What if there's an outbreak thanks to this cat?
Deciding to err on the side of caution, the tortoiseshell backs up a few paces. "Is it contagious?" She asks, deciding that to be the more important thing than her name.
This tom is very blunt, speaking to her as if he has a wealth of knowledge. Well, he looks quite old so it wouldn't surprise her if he did know a good deal. Still, she's a little on edge. Surely some cat so old would know better than to loiter around on Clan territory. He may have what looks to be nasty burns but surely he knows a loner healer? Ah, they're old. Still, Lark doesn't like the look of them.
"Yes. My name is Larkstar," her voice is tense - she doesn't trust this cat yet. "Why have you come here? I expect it's not just to 'sunbathe'."
The story of these two kits out alone makes the leader's heart break. They're so young! And if one of them is already sick, the other must be as well. She can't leave them out here... if she did... well, they may not leave this very patch of ground if she did.
"Ok," she says quickly and easily, lowering herself to lay on her belly. "My name is Larkstar... I'm the leader of a group of cats called RiverClan. I can take you two to see our healer, Tansypaw. What are your names?" She tries to keep her voice low and soothing, any louder and she worries something in the somber atmosphere may break.
"You're not too far in, don't worry. My name is Larkstar, I'm RiverClan's current leader." She explains, tail flicking as Belle backs away from here, clearly wary. "You can relax, I'm not going to bite you. Well- as long as you remain no threat to me or my clan."
"Have you nowhere to go?" Larkstar asks curiously, head tilting to the side. RiverClan could probably provide shelter, especially with prey so scarce in leafbare. She could bring that up, but she wanted to see how this cat would respond first before she offered.
She'd been doing a routine border check, making sure the scent markers were where they were supposed to be and all that, so imagine her frustration when an unfamiliar scent reaches her nose. Instantly alert and on edge from recent encounters with loners, Larkwing stalks through the brush towards a pair of cats, one adult one kit, sitting and seemingly waiting for someone. She wants to roll her eyes, but instead, she just slinks out of her cover with a low, warning growl, on edge and wary.
"Do you need something?" She all but spits at the two, reigning in her distrusting snarl only slightly. Just enough that they might think she's still willing to talk.
"Yes, actually. My daughter here- Cassie- can't stay at home with me as my owner would drown her upon sight, even holding her under until she died. She's got basic knowledge on swimmng and fighting, her hunting needs work, but i was hoping she could join Riverclan? Sorry if it's a lot to ask..." Michael meowed with a soft voice. The kit quietly looks up at Larkstar with curious eyes before sniffing at her in curiosity. She seemed almost friendly and curious.
Prince stares at Larkstar, did that cat not know what a house was? Whatever. ''I don't think it is. My sister didn't get sick'' He answered to the leader's question. Prince sheated the claws, as Larkstar probably wasn't a threat. The cinnamon and white tuxedo licked his paw, slightly disgusted by how oily his fur was, noticeable it his yellow eyes.

Firetail worried until latkstar spoke, he perked at the words, listening carefully, he smiled, he was accepted! He made it into the clan"Thank you so much I won't let you down!" he rumbled

She looks at the cat before straightening up and looking at them, still staying a little ways away from them just to be safe. "You're leader? Leaders never come this far out," She says suspiciously and licking the cut on my side.
Featherpaw was glad Brackenfire was okay. Now there was one thing left for him to do. "Larkstar," he meowed, his nervousness was masked with his serious expression. "I- I've come to join RiverClan. Even though ShadowClan murdered your medicine cat, I want a chance from you. Please, someone I care about- Brackenfire- is in your clan, and we only just reunited, when one of your warriors attacked me on the border." He was more desperate than anything. "Please..."

Stormy lay her head on her paws and wiggled closer to Larkstar with big eyes. A group of cats? She wondered how many of them Larkstar was the leader of. Maybe there were lots and lots of them, like 10 cats and she was in charge of them all! And with a healer too! She let out a little sigh of relief. Crystal would definitely get better.
"I'm Stormy! And this is Crystal and..." she trailed off, looking away from Larkstar. "..and that's it. Stormy and Crystal."
Moments ago she'd been excited about new cats to meet, especially a cat who could make Crystal all better, but at the memory of Sky, she just felt tired and sad again. "Can you take us there now, Larkstar, please?"
"Stormy and Crystal, those are pretty names, though I'm not sure what a crystal is," she wonders briefly if there's another name Crystal might like, but the kit is in no state to answer such a question but... she supposes it's fine. It's pretty and makes her think of bright, shiny colors. "Ok, we'll call you Stormykit and Crystalkit for now, but if you two decide you don't want to stay with us after you're feeling better, you can choose to leave. Clan life isn't easy, cats fight and they die and prey is scarce now in leafbare. If that's something you don't think you commit to forever, no one will hold it against you. C'mon now," deftly, she grabs Stormykit by her scruff and places her on her back before grabbing Crystalkit by her scruff too, starting to head in the direction of camp.
[ stormy and crystal can be submitted to the allegiances now!! Once submitted, you can submit a healing request, just mention me so I can have lark bring em in when it's accepted !!]

"She can speak for herself," Larkstar snaps at Michael before turning green eyes to look a little more sympathetically. "Did he bring you here because he wants you to join us or because you want to join us?" Marginally, her voice softens when she talks to the kit, a twinge of sympathy rolling in her gut at her situation.

"Well, this leader," she emphasizes the word, tail lashing behind her and ears out to the sides in annoyance, her eyes narrowed, "can go wherever she pleases." She'd had some amount of sympathy for this lost cat before, but it was quickly fading now. "Now, I can escort you off of my clan's territory, or I can drag you, what will it be?"
Part of her wanted to offer RiverClan as a home, but this cat clearly didn't trust a thing around her, and letting that into their ranks would likely not be the smart thing to do.

Suspicion prickled on Larkstar's spine. Every instinct was telling her not to trust this cat, apprentice or otherwise. But... scouring his face, his body language and tone of voice, there's nothing there to suggest that he, at the least, doesn't believe what he's saying. 'If I'd known letting Brackenfire in would open the floodgates to more ShadowClanners...' Still, this cat at least doesn't believe he's lying, so he can't be a spy... but what if his loyalties shift? RiverClan and ShadowClan have never been on good terms, who's to say he won't switch sides once again?
"And how can you prove you won't switch sides once again?"'Can I trust you?' is the part of that question she doesn't ask. She doesn't think she needs to.

"Clan life isn't easy," the molly begins, hoping that if she warns him, maybe he'll reconsider. This life isn't for everyone, even those who are born there. "There's fighting and death, and often we go hungry. Is that some place you think you could fit into?"

"Both, miss." Cassie's soft voice could catch even the most tough cat by surprise. She had always been patient and waited for people to talk to her first. Her little ears twitched. Cassie quietly seemed to have taken a liking to Larkstar. Michael noticed.
"She did suggest the idea of taking her to join a clan first. Word spreads quick where I'm from." He quickly added. "Cassie, why don't you show this clan cat your current fighting skills? I'll let you use me as a training dummy!" Cassie's eyes lit up at the idea and she ran over to her father and began batting his flank before accidentally unsheathing her claws and cutting open the flank.
"Whoops! Got a little carried away. Oh well!" Cassie kept showing, even using her teeth to pretty much bite some fur off.
"I've... Had this happen before." Michael winced Through gritted fangs.
Prince tilted his head at Larkstar. ''I'll pay you with all you ask me to do'' He answered. He was not willing to die alone in the forest by a strong cough.
