Now that she was settled in against her mother's warmth, her tears begin to dry. The relief she feels knowing that not only she was alive but had been looking for her... Had found her... It was one of the greatest feelings she had ever felt! As she's held she keeps her head pressed into Sylarose's chest to listen to her words closely...
"I'm fine, momma, I promise... More than fine." She pauses to listen to Larkwing, next, pulling her head back to stare up at her mother. "It's Tansypaw now, momma, I'm sure Larkwing told you. I'm a clan cat-- they took me in a couple moons ago and I've been here ever since."
The confliction is painful. Would Sylarose try to take her away from her new home? Her new purpose? Gingerfrost had faith in her. Believed in her more than anyone else. There was no way she could just spat on his feelings like that... Right? A frown moving into place upon her face, she stares down at her paws, continuing to think on Larkwing's words... Should she try to convince her? Show her how important it was that she stay with Riverclan? Her and Falconfeather were still learning-- if she were to disappear now... It could mean disaster, especially with the cold season coming. So she slinks out of her mother's hold and moves to stand beside her leader, gaze hardened but kind.
"Join us, momma. I can't leave them... They took care of me. And now I gotta take care of them. I've learned herbs and I'm learning how to heal. I have a place here and so can you. We can be together here-- safer than we were! Lots of cats to look after us and fight for us. We won't have to find new homes all the time anymore." She smiles a little bit after her embarrassing speech, glancing to Larkwing out of the corners of her eyes. "Larkwing is our leader. She's strong and kind and thoughtful... She'll take care of us."
"Well," Lark began after Fire finished his explanation, "you do look like you've been through enough to prove yourself competent. If I let you in, a warrior will be assigned to teach you proper swimming." She flicked an ear and moved on to her more pressing concern right now - she wanted to see his fighting ability for herself. "How about we spar a round. I'll make my decision after that. And keep your claws sheathed, will you?" It wasn't spoken as a question, but a command, and Lark took a few paces back and readied herself to let fire make the first move.
Flame perked as larkstar began speaking, his yellow eyes staring at the leader as he listened. He nodded and got into a ready stance, keeping his claws sheathed as he took a step towards the leader. His ears slickered as he charged at the leader, his eyes watched the leader as he lunges at the leader attempting to hit the molly on the face with the smallest force he has
He keeps reminding himself to sheathe the claws and hit little force, not a big force. So hard to control how hard to hit someone when you've lived on the outskirts alone, and got attacked by who knows how many badgers and foxes.

Reason for Joining: Loner for a while, lonely
Brief description of the plot: In the forest, hunting, finds the clan cat
Rank Request: Apprentice

Belle slowly padded through the damp leaves and following the scent of a mouse. She lost the scent and laid down with her head on her paws. She was quite small for 10 moons but this made her incredibly quick and agile. She looked at the peaceful forest, her hazel eyes darting everywhere. Her eyes stood out against her dark grey coat and white paws. She closed her eyes for awhile, but then she caught a new scent, a clan cat.

"I've heard a thing or two about William," Lark admits to the three kits, filing that information away for later. Is RiverClan becoming some sort of safe haven for all kittens tormented by that idiot loner? Well, if that was the case, at least Larkwing knew that she had protected at least some cats. "Well, if you're looking for a safe place, RiverClan certainly isn't as safe as you'd probably like. You'll have to learn how to swim, hunt and fight. It's far from an easy life and there's still a possibility William might get in despite our efforts to keep him out. Are you still interested?"
Sympathy floods Larkwing's belly as this grieving mother's desperate pleas to find her daughter wash over her. She can't imagine losing a child and the tireless search that might follow such a thing. The description does ring a bell, though the name does not... still, Larkwing calms down some, assured that all this mother - Sylarose - wants is to find her daughter.
"That description rings a bell, though I don't recognize the name. If we're talking about the same cat, she goes by the name Tansypaw now and is training to be the clan's medic." Lark sits down as she speaks, prepared for this conversation to take a few heartbeats more. "But if she's not who you're searching for, what will you do? Will you leave our territory and continue your search? And, if she is your daughter, will you stay with us?"
[ I can ask mitts if he wants to have Tansy come in and confirm syla's tansy's mom if you'd like - i think that'll make lark a little more comfortable w/ letting syla in hehe ]
"It's ok, kid, I'm not gonna hurt you," Lark attempts to sooth the young cat's worries, sitting down and picking her ears back up, appearing unthreatening. "Do you have a home?"
"You wish to join?" She asked, face neutral but her tail lashed behind her once. Would she be bringing in someone who would bring them to ruin? "How do I know you won't be a detriment to my clan? Can you hunt? Can you fight?" Unless he was born with those scars, Lark was pretty certain she had the answer to the question about fighting, but she still felt she needed to ask. "Can you swim at all? If you join us learning to swim is imperative."

LONER
A SLIM BLACK TOM WITH GREEN EYES AND WHITE MARKINGS
8 moons `im sorry.. so sorry.`
-
Calming down slightly, the wounded tom would shake his head, looking around anxiously.
`no.. i got chased out, thats why i came here..`
He’d mew, ears swiveling towards any and every sound, he seemed very paranoid.
The molly held her broken leg close to her chest, the pain dulling into numbness, but her throat wound burned like fire. Well. She couldn't have everything, could she? The other she-cat across from her was silent for a long while, and Brackenfire got the exhausting impression that she could lose all of her dignity here and stand here and lose precious time (and blood). But there was no going back now, and she refused to become a mockery of a warrior that was the cats of ThunderClan, or a spineless, sniveling cat of WindClan. This was her last hope. "Just some loner with a problem, I guess. I would've gotten treatment before coming here, but that would've been a little frowned upon to ask Elmshadow spend herbs on me just so I could leave. Plus, I'd rather come here now and not be confined to camp until it's bitterly cold outsider."
She paused to let the other question sink in, and shook her head. No, most of the cats in ShadowClan couldn't harm her even if they tried. "I'm sure they will be, but I refuse to spend more of my life throwing things away because I'm worried about what others think. Plus, they dislike me anyways for the most part, so why not give them an actual valid reason to?" She didn't doubt that her deflection would cause her former Clanmates to be rather... violent with her in battle, but she honestly didn't care. Half of them were pathetic tryhard wannabes, and she was one of ShadowClan's original elite... she'd like to see them try to kill or maim her.
Why RiverClan. Solid inquiry, and she didn't know how to respond. After a moment of pausing, the bruised molly answered, tail twitching as she tried to answer in an honest yet not... damning way. "ShadowClan is not something I'm proud to be associated with anymore, and I would much rather be loyal towards a Clan who isn't so morally gray that they refused to speak to me or treat me like I'm worth as much as a pile of dirt. I was an Enforcer, before-" She added, choosing to add a bit of backstory since she had made references to her past and she didn't want Larkwingstar to drawn conclusions by herself. "But then I was taken by Twolegs. When I returned, I was labelled as a traitor, and everyone except for like three cats turned their backs on me because they were unable to think for themselves, blinded by the need to be cold and harsh. They're just mindless creatures now, and I don't want to be associated with them, especially since no one cared to hear my side. But anyways- RiverClan seemed to be the best option. I know a few cats from your Clan from Gatherings and such, and you all seem respectable and also more intelligent. It's the ideal situation and ideal home, and I believe once I'm back to full health I can contribute to your Clan, if you'd have me."
She didn't want to sound manipulative, but she assumed that this cat would be able to see genuine intentions. Except for her little white lie that she was able to conceal well with a half truth- she was more than acquainted with one specific RiverClanner, but she was pretty sure that Larkwingstar wouldn't appreciate that bit of honesty. But hopefully that truth would be accepted, because it wasn't a lie at all.
"You'll need to learn to swim eventually if you join us," Larkstar pointed out, "though that can wait until after your kits." So... a disgraced queen from ShadowClan, no longer valuing the ties she has there decides to seek shelter in RiverClan of all places? It seemed believable enough, at least, as far as Lark could tell, she wasn't exactly hiding anything.
Thinking for a moment longer, she eventually found something more she wanted to ask. "What about their father?" She inquired, gaze once-ing over the slightly swollen belly. "I won't have to worry about ShadowClan demanding the kits once they're born, do I?"

He turned the head toward Larkstar when she arrived and dipped it in respect... "Larkstar. Glad to see you here. I found this kittypet wandering on our territory... He said he was here for exploring. I assume he didn't knew the dangers he was going toward when he crossed border. Luckily I found him before anything more dangerous could have found him instead."
The white spotted black Lionheart looked at the kittypet again. "He said he already wounded a dog that intruded in his twoleg nest. That's not a bad performance for a kittypet. What do you think Larkstar?"
@FrostyGalaxy @Moondrop
Larkstar considered this for a moment. "Not bad at all," she decided. "Injuring a dog is no small feat, even for a clan cat, you can be proud of that." And then, moving on to more pressing matters... "bur if you're only here for a bit of exploration, I can have Nightspark here escort you out of the territory. The wilderness is no place for a kittypet."

He has spirit, and determination and skill, that's for sure, but something Larkstar notices quickly is how little control the tom has. He's holding back a lot, and overthinking all his movements... and this may just be his downfall right here. Swiftly, Larkstar ducks below the paw that stretches out weakly to hit her, quickly spinning around and striking out with her back legs in an attempt to strike Flame in the chest.

Larkstar was getting quite tired of scenting non-RiverClan scent in her territory, so she made no effort to hide her presence to the other cat, deliberately brushing against tall grass and reeds as she approached, ears flaw to her head and tail swishing behind her in warning.
"You realize you're on clan territory, do you not?" She asks, a little tensely, making no effort to seem friendly for now.

"Hey, it's ok now, you're safe right now, ok?" She tries to assure the young cat, voice gentle as she can make it. Stars, curse her poor, stupid, weak heart. "You say you only want a place to stay while you heal? How about... would you like to stay with us? I can't promise you eternal safety, but I can promise a whole bunch of cats will be willing to protect you from any dangers that may come to us so long as they are able."

Her ears perked up and she jumped as the cat spoke. She backed away and said, "No, I didn't realize I had traveled so far in." She kept her blue eyes on the cat in front of her. She thought she was still a little ways from clan territory. She was small for her age, 8 moons, and this gave her a disadvantage to the cat in front of her. She cautiously backed away toward a tree until her brown fur was brushing against it. She stepped her paw unknowingly on a broken branch and hissed at the cut.

The young toms ears would perk up, surprised by the offer. His tail curled around his front paws.
Ugh. Swimming. The molly didn't bother to hide her wince as the leader happened to mention, flicking her tail as lightly as she could with the pain that tensed her muscles so. "I suppose I will. I've never tried it before, perhaps I'll like it." No, she already knew she wouldn't, but might as well sound like an attempt at positivity through the pessimism.
At the mention of the father of her kits, she glanced down at her belly, faintly surprised. She was half startled that the leader could already notice that she was showing- which would make revealing her kits as Falconfeather's litter that much harder. Fantastic. "There's no one in ShadowClan who'll be coming to try and claim these kits." She promised, forcing a small smile. Because she had never been able to raise a litter with the father of the kits, perhaps she reflected a little of that bitterness now, but she did her best to hide it.
"Unless they're coming to kill me, no one in ShadowClan should both you about me or my kits." And assurance that she was sure she could follow up on. No way would any of her Clanmates miss her. Except Nightshiver and perhaps her grandkids. Loss pricked her heart as the injured molly wobbled on her paws, feeling her fur become slicked to her neck by the blood dripping steadily out of her throat. Damn, am I going to bleed out before I can even see Falconfeather again? That would be quite a depressing way to go out.
Flame sharpened his eyes as larkstar ducked and avoided his attack, he landed a bit wobbly on his 3 legs before turning around to see larkstars back legs hitting him, he tumbled but quickly got up. His claws unsheathing as he felt frustrated but he quickly remembered it was just a spar, his claws sheathing as he regathered him. His ears lowering as he charged at the leader, once getting closer he jumped to the side and reached out his paw, attempting to hit larkstar as he passed by.
