"Very nice watch me catch this wood piegon".
She would croutch done and leap onto the piegon and catch it her claws easly killing her prey in a easy pounce.

He trailed behind the warrior quietly. Dunepaw was wary of new cats and he wasn’t sure if this was someone he could joke around with or someone he’d get his ear clawed off by. With a gulp he quickened his pace so he stood beside bluestone his singular brown eye shooting the warrior quick glances. Uhm sir is hunting hard? Especially in cold weather like this when the fish disappear into the depths to warm up? his voice shook with nervousness.

the black she-cat sat by the rivers edge and waited for a fish to swim past. it had been a few days since she hunted and she felt that now was a time to do it again. she had her eyes on the water and her body was stiff as a rock and her tail went to and fro as she had her paw ready to stirke, after a moment she slashed at the water and a fish came flying out. she pinned it down and gave it a killing bite. but she missed as she fish hit her in the face. she fell backwards and slipped in the water. she closed her eyes and started to trash as she reached out to get onto land. she pulled herself out the water and looked up seeing that a bird had taken her fish and she hissed "fox-dung-" she sat up and shook her fur out and started to groom herself.

Phew. She could not explain how grateful she was for having timely patrol members. When they left the entrance of camp, she could see cats sitting around and waiting and for a moment she's anxious that maybe she sent the wrong cats out on patrol. Shaking her head to will the doubt away, she trots along, leading the other two... Somewhere. Now that she thought about it she had never been given a proper tour of the territory. So, uh, she's relying on scent alone. Thyme was always easy for her to pick out. When she catches a whiff of it, her tail stands straight up and she glances back over her shoulder at the other two.

"I can smell thyme! Shatterpaw, can you smell anything you don't recognize?"

Maybe this really could be a learning experience for the younger cat. Not that she thought herself a good teacher by ANY means, but she would at least try to share what she knew. The more cats that knew herbs, the better, in her opinion.

"Thyme grows in small bushes and they have these little rounded leaves. It has a pretty pleasant flavor unlike some other herbs... Like dandelion. The flower part tastes awful, but the greens aren't too bad. They're pretty easy to spot. Small and yellow and round. Got lots of tiny petals."
