Alpinepaw walked into the Elders' Den and looked around to see what she could do. She spotted a few dirty nests a few cat lengths away from her and walked to them. The young cat picked one up and some dirt fell onto the ground. She thought, "Why would anyone put dirt into a nest?"

She continued walking and dropped it around the back of the den. She sniffed the air and it smelled like moss. Alpinepaw padded to the source of the smell and picked a huge clump of moss with her maw. She was clearly struggling to hold it.

The tortoiseshell went into the den again and carefully placed down the clump into an empty space. She then proceeded to spread it out and shaped the flatened clump into a bird's nest.

The feline is snoring in their sleep. That anyone could hear from outside or nearby the elder's den. This comfortable slumbering would erupt by some ticks. Clinging on the fur and causing the annoying, itchy feeling Opossum dislikes. "Ughh! do these pests have to ruin my sleep now.." as they angrily spoke. As they sit up and start scratching their sides with their foot's claw.

no....N-no!! She oculdn't go back! She wanted to run from her past so she ran to the elders den like her pain was too much to handle but what if she was being dramatic? I DOONT CAAAAAAAAAARE!!! Her desperate thought rang. She sobbed in the bedding of the elders den with high volume....

Why did it feel like the elders' den so often went overlooked when it came to the upkeep of the dens? Perhaps it was that there were not as many elders, that warriors and apprentices generally worried more about themselves and the kits in the nursery, or perhaps cats eventually began to brush of elder's concerns as them just being cranky. But Hawkcatcher a routine to keep up with today being the elders' den. Good thing too because she had found a crack between the branches.

She had gone with another warrior to fetch a few fresh and strong-looking branches and brambles, and was in the middle of working them into the den's wall, being just in the middle of holding one in place with her shoulder and paw and weaving in another one when her grip slipped.

"Could you come and help me for a moment?" She didn't particularly think over the request she tossed over her shoulder to the nearest cat. It was far easier to interact with her clanmates when it was for work-purposes.

Alpinepaw was cleaning the moss nests by picking out the burrs and other stuff from them. It took several minutes for her to do it since there were only two Elders living in the den. The nests were fresh as they were assembled a few days ago. Her nose was getting clogged up with fur. Because of that, she sneezed loudly.

The young cat inspected each nest to make sure they were clean enough. She felt a bit satisfied with her efforts. Alpinepaw looked up at the ceiling and nothing was of interest.

Halfpaw padded into the Elders' nest, but stopped instantly on the entrance when he recognized the familiar tortoiseshell pelt of Alpinepaw. He smiled, but remained silently and sneaked inside with a slow motion, putting his paws on the leafy ground with utmost care.

When he got closer to hos friend, he leaped toward her, willing to make her get a good fright! Ha ha! He was already laughing to himself in his mind!

She got pounced on! Now, there was a cat on her! She shouted in slight shock while she tried to kick him off like a wild horse, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ! There's something on me!" Alpinepaw then zoomed into the back wall, making a tiny hole in the process. She became stuck in the hole.

(If Halfpaw and Alpinepaw are friends now, then how did they meet each other? There are two options:
1. They are best friends in this interaction and we can make up a backstory for them.
2. Or this could be the first meeting for them and they could start to know each other.

Which option do you prefer? I prefer the second one but, the former can do for me.)
