Blazing Thunder

The Apprentice was late to the party, having shot through the entrance to their camp. He had been out in the territory, he didn't mind the rain, so getting soaked to didn't bother him. But that bone shattering crack that echoed throughout the territory made him stop dead in his tracks. He saw as the tree fell into the Thunderclan camp.

He wasn't really sure why he came running back, fear nipping at his heels every step he took. He found them all to be birdbrained and bigots. Self richgeous and, he couldn't even think of any insults he was so worried and it ticked him off! His paws thundered against the ground as he pulled himself through the territory as fast as he could. Before he knew it he was standing near the entrance, chaos ensuing as he watched on.

Blazingpaw only stood there for a few moments before he whipped his head around. Looking for a familiar Tortoiseshell. Distracted momentarily by his idiot Clanmates stumbling over one another...and their own paws. "Will you all calm down?!" he snapped. "The entrance isn't going anywhere. And there's a million different ways to get out of camp so shut up and keep it together! You've all slaughtered cats, what's a little fire you Bird for brains!" he barked. Nipping at stragglers to try and herd them towards any of the other groups. Where was Duskstar?

Fernglow hurried out of the Warrior's deb as fast as his legs could take him, turning his eye on to the tree. The blazing, burning tree. No. The tom heard Duskstar's call and barely heeded it, instead running to the areas the fire had spread. Where there cats trapped? Dead? Where is his family? The brown tom's mind raced as he steeled himself and surveyed the damage, ignoring his pumping heart threatening to burst out of his chest.

Berrybreeze awoke from his dream to screaming, twitching his tail in confusion. Why was everyone yelling? He hadn't played any major pranks. The tortoiseshell tom was moments away from going back to sleep before an acrid trail of smoke made its way to his nest. With a start, the tom dashed out and took off running. A fire. He hadn't seen any in real life, but his father's stories made it seem... calmer. This was not good. Berrybreeze frantically whipped his head around, searching for someone familiar. "Honeytuft? Dad? Sun-" The tom was cut short by a loud creak, a flaming branch careening towards him from above.

Primrosewhisper felt something wrong before the strike. An itching in her fur, making her unable to sleep. That itching turned her to the storm, leaning partly out of the warrior's den to watch clouds rumble. Well, that was... until the camp caught fire. The ragdoll molly felt frozen in place, brain stopped. There was smoke. Flames. Heat. Cats were running, screaming, dying, and Primrosewhisper was stuck. Her heart beat like a drum, her breath seeming to match the pace of the flames. She needed someone. Greyfur. She needed Greyfur. She needed to go.

Honeytuft was frantically searching for Berrybreeze when he heard the tom call his name, "Berrybreeze!" he yowled, running over to the large tom. His heart dropped when he saw a flaming branch falling towards the unsuspecting to, and he fearfully cried out, "WATCH OUT!" he screamed, sprinting now at full speed to try and knock him out of the line of fire. This was bad. Like, this was really, really bad. Tears started forming in the corners of his eye, though he couldn't tell if they were from fear or from the large amount of smoke. It was probably a mix of both.

A fire is burning our camp and will kill us all. Fleetwind meowed, heaving Smokewatcher upright. Now MOVE! @Cobralily

Smokewatcher stared at him. "Nice." Her mind reeled. Was he flirting with her?

Emberheart raced into the camp, and a burning tree branch fell onto her neck, melting her fur in that place. Help me... she coughed, her smoke-stained lungs making it hard for her to breathe. The warrior's paws slipped out from under her, making her fall. The branch had burned most of her fur on her back. Help me! Emberheart yowled as loud as she could, and broke into a coughing fit.

Lionclaw heard some yell for help and rushed over to them. He saw that the branch had fallen onto Emberheart.
"Don't worry, I'll get you out."
Lionclaw used his jaws and lifted the branch off Emberheart and threw it into the fire.
"Come on, hurry to the entrance!"
Lionclaw helped Emberheart get up.

Chivepaw looked at her blankly with confusion. “To save my clan mates”, he said as he thought “Isn’t that what I was supposed to do? She’s not mad I ran off is she?” He thought slightly scared, but still puzzled.

Amberglow let out a sigh of relief. "Well good job on saving those cats," she said, letting a smile slip onto her face. "I was just.. worried."
