Dave's pinned mouth was slightly disturbing, Eli wouldn't lie to himself.
He glanced at the "food" with a look of disappointment, but began eating anyway. The stuff made him sick, but if he didn't eat, he'd starve. At least that's what they told him.
Who knew what any of this even was? It could be human remains, and nobody would notice!
He tried not to gag at the weird aftertaste of the odd, supposedly edible conglomeration.

Dave raised a brow at his new friend, it sort of looked like he didn't like the food. Yes it wasn't as great as what most humans ate...but food was food! It'll do . Dave would kill to try what the scientists were eating! It surely wasn't this slop. Then , they felt boredom...most of the time they didn't mind doing nothing, they actually liked it when they were brought out to be tested on, it gave them something to do. Frowning a tad bit the doll flopped their chin on the table and continue to eat. I wish I can talk- ...I won't be nearly as boring...

Dave gave a nod and continued eating . They looked around for something else that they could communicate with but found nothing... even paper and pen will do!...
Rolling their eyes the doll almost cartoonish like, just fell back wards and let their arms flop. At least they were done eating.

Eli found it quite humorous when the doll just sort of fell backwards after finishing the food. "So am I," he sighed, shoving his not-as-empty plate aside.

Flopping their feet about the doll Soon did a sloppy handstand only for it to successfully be a balanced one. They didn't know what else to do...unless Eli had any ideas. Maybe they could ask to get tested on again..
