Darkpaw sat in the clearing. Still wondering where Blackie had been. She had so little training.. and so little time with him. She heaved a sigh and heard a soft whisper in her ear. He's forgotten you. You're alone. We can take you. You better not tell him if you see him. And then she heard hundreds of voices laugh in unison, their cackling ringing in her ears. She shuddered at the thought of what would happen if she told. To her. To her friends. To Blackie.. She stared the ground, tears welling up in her eyes. She shook her head to clear it, she couldn't cry in the clearing. There were too many cats around. She looked up, trying to find familiar faces. She saw one she knew all too well. Another dark cat. Its large white eyes, the pearly white grin, the completely blank features. All black. Like a forgotten shadow in a sea of sunlight. She frantically looked around for familiarity, seeing one. One she had searched for. For so long. Blackie. She smiled and dashed over to him, tears of joy in her eyes. "Blackhaze! Oh I missed you sooo much!" She tackled him, giggling and crying. Her joy overwhelmed the voices whispering in her head. The dark furred apprentice trapped Blackhaze in a tight hug, she had missed him so much.

Chickadeekit coughed a few times and went back to staring at the disgusting leaf. "Okay.." The kit figured she better obey Ebonyfang, him being the medicine cat. She finished it off with a disgusted look on her face. "I don't feel any better.. Chickadeekit mewed. The borage was awful, what if it didn't work and she would have wasted her time and eaten something so yucky for no reason?

Darkpaw slid to the right and jumped over Littlepaw, turning to him and going to attack his left side. With her claws sheathed, of course.

Littlepaw threw his body at her attack, falling on, what he hoped to be Darkpaw.

Darkpaw was toppled by Littlepaw and she quickly flipped back onto her feet and leapt at Littlepaw. The dark furred apprentice used her weight to try and knock him down.

Littlepaw smirked. He let his legs give way, and landed with a flop.

Lynxdusk

The tabby had been sitting in the middle of the clearing, cleaning his pelt. Why had he been sitting in the middle and not the edge of camp? No one knows. Lynxdusk swiped his tounge over his smooth pelt, trying to get girt out of it. The warrior put his cleaning on hold for a minute, somehow starving. Standing up, he headed over to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a thrush.

Ebonyfang was growing a bit impatient, but he kept his cool. She didn't do anything to piss him off, so he would just suck it up. "It'll take a while for the herbs to work. Once they do you'll feel much better.", he meowed.
