(I don't know how to explain a cat crouch so I'll leave it with that).

She tilted her head a little. One more time of showing him then it'll have to do, she thought. "Um...I'll show you one more time," she meowed. Nightshadow showed him again, step for step.

He followed the steps, finally he got it right, "Now is it good?" @Mia

"Yes, that's right!" Nightshadow meowed in relief. "Now, see that toad over there?" She flicked her tail towards a toad two tail-lengths in front of them. "Try to get it. Keep your tail down when your crouching but not all the way down so it touches the leaves and bushes." Nightshadow backed up quietly to give Snakepaw some room.

He slowly crept towards it, but it spotted him and it hopped away "Crud!" @Mia

Nightshadow had a bit of dissapointment in her eyes but then remembered it was his first time. "It's ok, Snakepaw. I think it heard your pawsteps. You have to take all of your weight from your paws and put it on your haunches. Try it again on that lizard." She paused. "This time you have to be quicker," she meowed.

He moved faster but he accidently stepped on a leaf, the lizard didn't move, if he waited, he wouldn't get it, so he took a few more steps forward, and jumped on it "Yay!" @Mia

"Brilliant catch!" Nightshadow meowed excited for Snakepaw. She padded over to him and looked at the lizard, it was a big one. Someone would eat good today, she thought. "Let's catch a few more toads or lizards then we'll head back to camp."
